Our glittHER dance party takes place the 4th Friday of each month at Zeba Bar in Columbia Heights. glittHER: blizzHERd Happy Hour Edition Winter may be coming tomorrow, but so is glittHER! Nothing warms you up better on a chilly night than a glittHER dance floor. Due to the impending snowstorm and Metro closures (trains stop running Friday at 11pm), the party will begin at 6pm and end at 11pm (queue the happy hour dance party!) so everyone can arrive and get home safely. The party will start downstairs from 6-8pm and then will move upstairs for dancing from 8-11pm. If you’re queer and love to draw on strangers’ faces, look no further: DC’s hottest party is glittHER at Zeba Bar. 

Started last year by The V DC, this party is currently taking the city by storm. As you reach the top of the stairs of this Columbia Heights hotspot, you might be greeted by the elusive Zeba magician, a Glitter Girl ready to tackle your undecorated face, or a bouncing mass of PBR-clutching queers screaming "I Don't Care, I Love It." 

This party has EVERYTHING: flannel, dancing unicorns, dancing flannel, that girl that asks if she can have 3 shots of Fireball in 1 glass so she can “sip” on it. And, if you're a fan of twerking, or just generally dancing like no one's watching, you'll want to come prepared to limbo your way under a connected rope of glowstick necklaces all the way to ultimate glory. 

If that's not enough for you, you can always hit the dance floor instead, preferably in a shiny gold onesie, a neon fanny pack filled with packets of glitter, and a feather boa.
