Hi! It’s Lucien’s Little Lamb 🐑! I really like the Dorm Master story from Elysium on TikTok. This is their account: https://www.tiktok.com/@elysiumjuly?_t=ZT-8vjAZLjfgK6&_r=1
This is a masterlist for my Dorm Master writing! I take requests for character writings. Magnus and Lucien are my favorites to write about but Damian and Acacius are fine too. I only really write for males.
Masterlist below :
Headcanons or Thoughts :
Norlyrian Language Headcanons
Magnus :
If Magnus is in Norlyria, Magnus x Reader
Summary : Seasonal depression is hard enough. Unfortunately for you, in Norlyria, the weather is always depressing for you. Fortunately for you, Magnus doesn’t hesitate to help you out.
Time Based Ability Benefits, Magnus x Reader
Summary : The food in the diner isn’t good. Magnus shows you a better place to eat and what it’s like to be cared for.
Too Sweet, Magnus x Reader
Summary : Even after all the years in this realm, Magnus still gets homesick. Magnus has never been a fan of sweet things but maybe you’re an exception.
My theory : I don’t feel like Norlyrian people would speak out English, especially since it’s a whole new realm so I headcanon that they speak Norlyrian (whatever that sounds like)
Guillotines are used for executions in Norlyria so maybe Norlyrian is similar to French or German?
But simply due to the fact Norlyria is so cold, I feel like they speak some type of strange Russian
When the MC was lured into the realm, some spell was put on them which allowed them to know Norlyrian without needing to learn the language
I imagine that the spell gives the MC all the vocabulary of Norlyrian in their brain but because it’s a foreign language, the MC still has trouble pronouncing words, revealing they are from another place
Poor Magnus had to learn it all by himself though 😣
The MC would really enjoy speaking English with Magnus and so would he, he hasn’t heard English in years!
Magnus was getting worried he was forgetting how to speak it
I know in episodes 127, it says Magnus got reassigned to nyc meaning he’s not originally from there but I always imagine him speaking in a New York accent
I think Damian would always get upset though, mostly because he can’t understand you two and it makes him feel dumb
So the MC and Magnus speak it in private
I also think not all English words or phrases would translate to Norlyrian properly
Remember in an episode (that I’m too lazy to look for) that when Damian asked what the MC was doing and when they replied “just chilling”, he had upset and didn’t understand that process was that
So whenever the MC was speaking Norlyrian and suddenly didn't know a word, that meant the word didn’t exist in Norlyrian
”Wow, it’s raining cats and dogs.” Cue Damian checking your temperature thinking you’re having fever hallucinations
“No, dear, it’s not raining cats and or dogs. It is water.” Damian says, dead serious
I’m also kinda obsessed with the thought of teaching them English
Lucien never studied as far as we know but somehow gets all the attention questions correct in class which makes me think he has a great memory
Like you’d teach him a word once and he’d never forget it
All of a sudden, he’s starting to understand you and Magnus, to Magnus’ dismay
And we all know Lucien likes to get reactions out of people so he’d speak English to you in front of Damian to anger him
”We speak Norlyrian in Norlyria.” Damian says through gritted teeth
Damian lowkey wants to learn English though
He’s curious about where you come from and want to know about the human realm better
But on the other hand, he thinks Norlyrian is superior and doesn’t want to concern himself with “lesser things”
Summary : Even after all the years in this realm, Magnus still gets homesick. Magnus has never been a fan of sweet things but maybe you’re an exception.
Notes : These characters are from Dorm Master by Elysium on TikTok! This fanfic takes place during no specific time period. The MC is gender neutral in this story. The MC isn’t really romantic towards Magnus but he has feelings towards them. The story is mostly written from Magnus’ perspective while still being in 2nd person. I’ve been craving s’mores Poptarts for a while and just bought them so I wrote this story. I take fanfic or headcanon requests!
Warnings : None
Smoke after smoke until the pack is gone.
Drink after drink until the flask is empty.
But the substances didn’t seem to help Magnus’ mental state.
Magnus doesn’t completely hate this realm. He enjoys collecting artifacts, romancing women and it’s not the worst tutoring you. Even if it feels more like babysitting sometimes. But this past week, he’d trade every one of his artifacts to go back home for a day.
Magnus crushed a finished cigarette into an ashtray when you knocked on his door. ‘What now?’ Magnus thought annoyedly. “Sir! Can I come in? It’s me!” A voice came through the door. It’s funny how Magnus knew it was you as soon as you said “Sir”. Magnus sighed while trying to get himself into a better mood. “Come in.”
You opened the door holding your left hand behind your back. “What do you need now?” That sentence came out ruder than he meant it to. However, your smile didn’t falter. “Actually, you’re the one who needs something.” You playfully said while closing the door behind you and walking to his desk.
Magnus looked at you unamused. “Is the thing I supposedly need behind your back?” Magnus asked. You sat down in the chair in front of his desk. You cleared your throat. “Well, you’ve seemed down lately. And I remember when we ate those Doritos and Pepsi you looked happy so I’ve got something for you.” Magnus’ eyes twinkled with curiosity. He leaned froward in his chair.
You slowly revealed your item. It was a small rectangle of foil. Magnus squinted. “What the hell is that?” Your shoulders dropped. “It’s a Poptart!” You handed the treat to home. Upon closer inspection, lightly printed “Poptarts” labels were patterned on the foil. His eyes widened and the corner of his mouth lifted.
“Ha. What long have you had this?” Magnus examined that wrapper like it was a rare artifact. “There are still more. I was waiting for a special occasion, like your birthday, but-“ You shrugged. “Open it!” You urged him.
Magnus has always been more of a savory man rather than have a sweet tooth. Even as a kid, he never ate Poptarts. “What flavor?” Magnus unwrapped the foil, revealing a Poptart with chocolate frosting. “S’mores! It’s my favorite.” You happily told him. Magnus especially didn’t like s’mores. Way too sweet. But based on the sole fact that it’s from the human realm, it cheered him up.
Magnus cracked the Poptart in half and took a look at the chocolate and marshmallow filling. He handed you a one half and you took it. “Take a bite!” You told him, starting at him. Magnus made a ‘toasting’ mention to you and took a bite. Oh Gods, it’s about 10 time sweeter than he thought it’d be. Not that it was necessary bad.
Once you were satisfied with his bite, you took your own and made a surprised face. “Did these get sweeter than the last time I ate this?” You looked at the Poptart confused. Magnus genuinely laughed. You smiled at him and he shook his face while smiling. “Some things are just really too sweet.” You said, staring at the Poptart. Magnus nodded, staring at you.
Summary : The food in the diner isn’t good. Magnus shows you a better place to eat and what it’s like to be cared for.
Notes : These characters are from Dorm Master by Elysium on TikTok! This fanfic takes place during no specific time period. The MC is gender neutral in this story. The MC has romantic feeling for Magnus but it’s not completely reciprocated (maybe). My favorite Magnus and MC dynamic is when the MC has a crush on Magnus and he keep shutting them down even though he likes them too lol. I take fanfic or headcanon requests!

If you weren’t sick of the Old Miner’s Diner food before, you sure are now.
The same plain meals every day. ‘Does Norlyria not have seasoning?’ You thought you got dressed in your uniform for the day. You didn’t want to eat from the diner but you also didn’t want your stomach growling in class. Talk about a lose-lose situation. Something is better than nothing, you supposed. The school pays for all diner meals and it’s not like you have the money to go anywhere else.
After you were dressed, you stepped outside, not realizing that Magnus was standing right outside your door. You bumped into him surprisingly hard, stumbling backwards a bit. Magnus however, didn’t do anything more than grunt. “Don’t you watch where you’re going before to walk into a hallway?” Magnus sighed, however there was no real anger in his words. “Ah! Sorry Sir. I was lost in thought.” You quickly said as you closed the door behind you.
Magnus leaned on the wall. “Where are you off to this early?” Magnus squinted at the large clock at in the wall on the second floor. Your spirit dimmed at the reminder of what you had to do. “Going to the diner.” You said with no gusto. You started to walk past him in the direction of the entrance door. Magnus raised a brow and he quickly caught up to you. “Why do you sound so sad about it?” Magnus lightheartedly scoffed.
You looked around the dorm. It was still about an hour before any student would need to head to the study buildings so the dorm was empty. But still. You felt silly at how desperate you were to tell him. You sighed almost dramatically. “Because the food! It’s just…” You shook your head with a solemn expression. Magnus let out a chuckle. “Don’t I know it! I ate there once and that was it. What’s the point, we can’t even eat the meat!” You smiled. It seemed like Magnus wanted to get this off his chest too. The sole agitation made Magnus want a smoke.
Magnus pressed his large hand to the small of your back and started to lead you through the door. “Hence the reason I don’t go there anymore. I’ll show you a better place. It’s actually close to the diner.” Magnus looked over his shoulder. It seemed like he didn’t want anyone to see you two either.
The walk to the new restaurant was longer than Magnus let on. Or at least felt longer. According to the time it took 14 minutes while going to the diner takes 10. Only a 4 minute difference but Magnus took you through some sketchy back roads. “I don’t want you walking through the main streets this early. Everyone is at home but the crazy people.” -is what Magnus said.
The restaurant wasn’t a restaurant rather than a small pop up shop. Some people were already standing to order and to wait for their food. There was one big burly man working over a hot grill and a thin small boy, acting as a cashier. They seemed related. The hot smoke surrounding the tent was a welcome relief for Norlyria cold. All of a sudden, a smell hit you. Peppery meat and lemony vegetables. Your stomach had the urge to growl but you somehow held it in.
“Voila!” Magnus joked and walked to stand in the three person line. You stood next you him and felt silly. You wondered if you looked like a couple and smiled a bit. As if to kill any hope, Magnus said, “I feel like you’re my weird little sister/brother/sibling that I take out to eat after our parents aren’t home.” very matter of factly. You opened your mouth in dramatic shock but quickly closed it and looked away with a silly pout. Magnus chuckled at your performance.
Before you knew it, you and Magnus were up in line. You were finally able to read the menu but before you could even get half way down, Magnus spoke. “Good morning Altric. We’ll get two black pepper steaks, a side of citrus greens and potatoes.” Magnus was already taking out his wallet. The boy quickly scribbled on a note pad and placed it onto a counter near the larger man. Magnus gave the boy a large handful of coins, the boy had to take it using two hands. Magnus didn’t seem surprised at the boy’s lack of response. ‘Maybe they know each other well.’ You figured.
You both stepped to the left of the tent. “Sir, how’d you find out about this?” You asked him. “Well, I couldn’t keep eating at that diner. Had to do some exploration.” Magnus explained. You felt a little too sleepy to continue talking. Or listening for that matter. Magnus described all the different restaurants he went to but you didn’t listen.
“Order for Magnus!” The man called out, a little louder than he really needed to. Did he know that the order belong to Magnus just by reading the order? Magnus went to pick up the tray of food from the ‘Pick Up’ counter. The man looked at you and you felt you needed to smile and wave at him. So you did. He let out a laugh that was more of a cackle. “Magnus has got a woman/man?” You really hope your eyes didn’t glimmer with happiness. “Didn’t think you were his type!” Oh.
Magnus made no effort to correct him. “You approve?” It was probably a joke. “If they make you happy, hell yeah.” The man said and returned to grilling food for the other customers. You looked Magnus. You thought his eyes seemed softer than before but it’s probably your mind playing tricks on you. Magnus brought you to a cold wooden table not too far away and you both sat down next to each other.
Magnus used a knife and fork to cut a piece of the steak for you. His use of utensils was surprisingly good. He cut the steak into small pieces. He picked up a piece and held it to your face with a smirk. “Do the honors?” You pulled your head back, “It’s meat.” You stated, obviously too nervous to eat any meat from this world. “Look.” Magnus ate the piece without a care. Your eyes drifted to his sharp jawline and you watched as he swallowed, feeling like a creep.
“See. I didn’t succumb to insanity and die.”Magnus picked up another piece and held it near your lips. You couldn’t look him in the eyes. You noticeably avoided his eyes and ate the piece of meat off his fork. The meat with filled with strong flavors and melted on your mouth. Magnus smiled. “Good right?” You nodded vigorously.
You and Magnus ate the whole meal, alternating with the fork. You got full quickly but Magnus started finishing the rest of the meal. You noticed a black crow perched in a tree starting dead at you. It doesn’t take a genius to know that Damian was watching you through the crow. Crows that Damian is watching through act differently than his regular crows.
Maybe on a different day you would care but now, you leaned against Magnus’ body while watching the crow. He turned to you. “Are you tired after eating? I used to get like that too.” Magnus said softly. He finished his food. Magnus looked at his watch. “There’s still time to go back and take a nap. Come on.” Magnus started to stand up but you wrapped your arms around one of his.
Magnus sighed lightly. “Alright. I guess you can just lean on me then.” Magnus stretched a bit and got more comfortable. He used the arm that was wrapped around your shoulders to press your head closer to where his neck and shoulders met. Magnus kept his hand on your head. The crow flew away. You closed your eyes contently.
When you awoke, you felt so rested that you worried you slept too much. “Sir, what time is it?” You tried to rub the sleep out of your eyes as quickly as you could. Magnus causally looked at his watch. “15 minutes till classes start. We can start walking then.” You were surprised. You two stood up and started walking in the direction of the main building.
“Really. I thought I slept for much longer?” You state, mostly to yourself. Magnus smiled. “Well. Having time based abilities has some benefits.” Magnus ruffled your hair but then smoothed it out. Magnus must have used his abilities to let you sleep longer. When was the last time you felt this cared for? You intertwined arms with Magnus and rested your head on his shoulder and you walked.
Summary : Seasonal depression is hard enough. Unfortunately for you, in Norlyria, the weather is always depressing for you. Fortunately for you, Magnus doesn’t hesitate to help you out.
Notes : These characters are from Dorm Master by Elysium on TikTok! This fanfic takes place after Damian revealed to the MC that they weren’t a registered student. The MC is gender neutral in this story. There are about 3-ish romantic lines but the story is still rather platonic anyways. The MC does have a crush on Magnus is this story (who doesn’t lol). This story is safe for work! I’ll take any constructive criticism :) I’ll also take fanfic or headcanon requests!
Warnings : MC has 1 slightly suicidal thought.
The Norlyrian sky was the same wearisome shade of grey it often is. As if the sky was blanketed by large cloud of smoke, only a scare amount of the afternoon sunlight was able to enter your narrow window. Your vision was even more obscured due to the fact your face was suffocating in the thick blankets of your bed. For some reason, it’s easier to surround yourself in the complete darkness of your blanket rather than facing the consistently cloudy skies outside, a cruel reminder of where you’re stuck. It seems like your eyes are in a constant state of being on the brink of tears. Oh, the things you’d do for just a bit of nice weather.
You’ve somehow managed to convince Damian that you were sick and needed to be absent from classes today. He didn’t make much of a fuss. Damian could tell you weren’t well and you’re his first priority but he had other early morning plans to attend to before getting back to you. Although you were without true sickness, your deteriorated mental state was enough to sicken your appearance. Heavy bags under your eyes from a mix of sleepless nights and oversleeping during the days, with the occasional tears of sadness sprinkled through your days. It’s not like you’re a registered student anyways, so why attend class? Why do anything? Why even wake u-
A series of rough knocks on your door snapped you out of your spiraling thoughts. It couldn’t have been a student, they were all in their third period class by now. ‘Magnus…’ You almost manage to crack a smile at the thought of him dramatically reprimanding you for not using ‘Sir’. Regardless, you made no effort to open the door. He’d leave eventually. Then you can go back to marinating in your depressive thoughts. You somehow contorted yourself to burry even deeper into your blanket, also in a fetal position. It was difficult to breathe but you just accepted the discomfort of heavy breaths.
Magnus stood outside your door, waiting for you to either open the door yourself or tell him to come in. He resists to urge to pull out a smoke to deal with his increasing impatience but on the off chance Damian appears, the dorm master would not be happy and Magnus wasn’t in the mood to deal with a headache. He lets out an irritated puff before he knocks again. “YN! I know you’re in there.” He pauses for a moment before continuing. “And I know you’re not sick.” Magnus waits a few long seconds more before sucking up his pride and pressing his ear to the door, trying to listen for any sign of life.
You used the blanket to cover your ears. Maybe if you couldn’t hear him, he’d just disappear. However, your heart rate increased. Possibly because of your difficulty breathing. Possibly because of the prospect of Magnus coming in and caring for you in your slump. You haven’t showered properly in…how long? Maybe 4 days give or take. And there is no doubt your hair is a mess. But you knew it’d take more than that to scare Magnus off. “You got 5 seconds to open this door unless you want me to open it for you!” Magnus’ voice surprised you! All of a sudden you started to shake. You didn’t actually expect him to come in. That was foolish on your part.
Magnus looked both ways, ensuring that Damian wasn’t there to catch him in the act of going into a student’s room. Magnus cleared his throat as he slowly opened the door, half expecting you to be standing in front of the door, not wanting to accidentally hit you. Once he realized you weren’t right in front of him, he swiftly stepped inside and quietly closed the door behind him. “Dark in here…” Magnus mumbled to himself as he walked to the windows. He almost opened them till he realized that the chance of Damian trying to watch you through his crows to check on you were high, so instead he turned on a small warm lighted lamp on your dresser.
It took Magnus a surprisingly long time to realize that you were hidden under the blankets. You can’t blame him. You made yourself as small as you could and held your breath to not make a single movement. “YN? Whatcha doin’ under there? You awake?” Magnus softly spoke. Magnus went to gently shake the pile of blankets you were under. You felt a warm rush of embarrassment and unusual fear in your body. You don’t want Magnus to see you like this! “YN. Come on. I know you’re not sick. Damian might believe you but I think I know what you have going on better than him.” You felt the weight of Magnus’ body sit on the edge of the bed closest to you.
Your tightly crumbled position loosened slightly with his words. It’s true. Norlyria is Damian’s home. He is used to the pinching chills of the winds and the little amount of sun rays. He wouldn’t quite realize how it bothers you so much. You suppose Magnus would. It’s been years since he’s lived in Norlyria but he’s made it clear that it’s still not his home and is foreign to him. You felt like a golf ball got stuffed down your throat and your lips quiver like you were shivering from the cold. You wanted to let out a sigh but you knew it would come out as a sob.
Magnus stared at your form, trying to figure out where your head may be located. “Let me see you. I look crazy talking to a pile of blankets.” Magnus slightly chuckles in an attempt to lower your guard. With hearing no response, Magnus took a risk and tried to put his head to wherever he thought your head may be. His hand landed on your shoulder. As he realized this, he slowly moved his hand up to your head in such a way that he rubs you shoulder, up to your neck and finally you head. The feeling of his comforting hands makes you release an involuntary cry.
Magnus felt surprised at hearing you. “It’s okay” He said in the softest voice you’ve ever heard. He placed both of his hands on your face, cupping the sides of your head and your cheeks. “Let me see your face.” He kindly yet confidently said. He looked for a way to remove the blanket from your head. You barely had the energy to hide from him anymore. Or anyone for that matter. You slowly sit up and let the blanket fall off your head. You quickly buried your head into your hands, trying to wipe away any tears and hide your red eyes. Magnus brought your head into his shoulders and rubbed your back soothingly.
Your crying was rather quiet, not including your loud sniffles. “YN, don’t give up on me now. I know you can’t stand this place. Vitamin D deficiency is a real issue.” He laughed to himself. “I’ll get us outta here. But until then, if you start feeling like shit, you gotta come to me. I already promised to take care of you, didn’t I?” He did. Magnus often showed you and verbalized that he’s protective over you. Probably as much as Damian. Minus the stalking you through crows.
Magnus pulled your face away from his shoulder so he could get a good look at you. You’ve lost all motivation to cover your face. Magnus is a strong man but the sight of your face created a crack in his heart. Puffy watery eyes. Red cheeks. Swollen lips from bitting them. Were you really this miserable? ‘And it took me this long to notice…’ Magnus criticized himself. Magnus coughed slightly to regain his composure. “Well, crying only does so much.” Magnus stated. In one swift motion, he fully pulled the blanket off you, rolled it up and tossed it to the end of the bed. You were slightly sweating in your pajamas.
“How about I take you out more? Not as a date! Before you get any funny ideas…” Magnus exclaimed. “It’s not New York City, but this place isn’t as boring as you may think. Get ready now and we can head out. Wherever you want.” As much as you’d like to go out, you don’t know if you have the willpower to get up. Never mind shower or get dressed.
Almost as if Magnus read your mind, he grabbed you by the hands and pulled you up. You had to stead yourself against his body in order for your legs to not totally give out on you. “Alrighty, let’s go.” Magnus mumbled while guiding you to your bathroom. Magnus tried his best to seem stoic and unbothered but in reality, he couldn’t help but take worried and loving glances at you. What could have happened if he didn’t come when he did? He could have lost the only person he truly cared about in this twisted world.
Magnus sat you down on the toilet seat cover and you started dumbly at Magnus as he made a bath for you, constantly feeling the water and adjusting the temperature. Once he was satisfied with the temperature, he walked back into your bedroom with long strides towards your wardrobe. Magnus opened drawers and fumbles through it, occasionally pulling out and item of clothes and placing it onto the bed. You took the alone time to feel the state of your hair. Matted was an understatement. You felt beyond embarrassed. The man you held such affection towards seeing you in such a state. However, as you expected, he didn’t judge you.
Magnus returned to the bathroom with a towel and contentedly looked at the full bathtub. He turned off the water and placed the towel on the counter. “There. You need help getting in too?” For a moment, you thought he was being sarcastic but the look in his eyes was one of seriousness and genuine kindness. You shook your head ‘no’. “N-no Magnus. You’ve done too much already.” You said pathetically while fiddling with your fingers. “SIR!” Magnus corrected you without missing a beat, not even sparing you a glance.
Surprising both you and Magnus, you let out a laugh. Tears and messy hair be dammed. You better address him as Sir. You continue to laugh at the complete absurdity of the whole situation. You stretched your back as you stood up. “Okay. Give me some time to get ready. It may take longer than usual.” You say patting your flattened hair. Magnus looked at you with an expression you couldn’t quite identify. It was somewhere between relief and affection. His dark eyes twinkled and he crossed his arms. “Take your time.” Magnus said he as walked out and closed the door.
You undressed and slowly sunk into the bath with a sigh. You didn’t realize your muscles were so tensed. You dipped your hair into the bath and tried to work through the tangles with your fingers. “Sir? Are you out there?” You called out through the closed door. “Right here. What’s up?” Magnus’ voice was much clearer and closer than you expected. That’s the thing with Magnus. He’s always there. Whether you need it or not, he’s always right there. “Nothing!” You say with more brightness than you had in days. You closed your eyes, sinking further into the bath, the scent of Magnus’ floral cigarettes still lingering in your nose. If Magnus is in Norlyria, Norlyria isn’t that bad.
