Deleting blogs.
I’m sorry, I know I said I was going on hiatus over on Tiny Deadlock’s blog, but I just can’t juggle all of the blogs I have anymore. I have somewhere around fifteen or more and I just can’t do it.
I’m really sorry. I know there’s stuff waiting on me in some blogs and shit’s going on in others, but I just can’t keep disappearing on people with my characters and never getting back to them. This will be reblogged on all of my RP blogs.

Fort Max and Blaster are being pulled into Hiatus status again. I'm just really having a hard time being motivated to RP and not working is really upsetting me. I've been trying a lot of things but it doesn't help.
If worst comes to worst, I might drop (I feel like I'm just sitting on these two now) but we'll see.

Jetfire was busily tiding up his workspace since, to his standards, it was beginning to get cluttered. He felt a presence though and turned his helm, optics laying on the other mech, “Hello," He greeted, managing a small smile, “What brings you here?"
"Jetfire, I presume? Don't tell me y'all don't recognize The Voice -- Blaster." He said with a grin. "Been a long time since I've used that moniker."

"Indeed, we do. He’s been a real good help for the crew." Blaster said softly in agreement, voice flecked with the hint of calming down and starting to slowly relax. "… Primus, Jecker… I’m so glad you two are back."
Eject cracks a grin. He doesn’t really know what to say. Even at the best of times, Eject fumbles helplessly with words, but he doesn’t figure that he’d be able to think of anything adequate in these circumstances. “I know, Boss. I know," he responds, his voice soft, reassuring.
"Come on down to the medbay. We’ll both be here."
"On my way." Blaster said, moving down the hallways towards the medibay, spark swelling in joy at knowing he'd be able to see his twins again soon. "Smokescreen's been taking good care of me in the meantime."

“He’s here, Boss. He’s asleep right now, he… I ain’t real sure what happened, but he’s kinda beat up. First is on the job, though.” Eject grins. “He’s patched him up. He’s uh, missing his legs, though.” Eject glances over to his sleeping brother worriedly. “But he’s gonna be okay.”
On the heels of that statement, Blaster delivers the rather shocking news from Chromedome. Eject sits up straight, his expression stricken “Oh Primus—is he okay?” He’s known Chromedome for a very long time, and he’s quite fond of the mopey mnemosurgeon. He was one of the first friends Eject ever had. “He… he didn’t…?” He trails off, unable to finish.
“No, he survived. I don’t know all the details, I’ve… been taking time off.” He said, not feeling the need to give a reason why, as the death of the twins had been more than enough reason. “First Aid took care of him too.”
Eject nods silently in understanding. He knows that the circumstances were pretty much wholly out of his control, but he still feels a stab of guilt for having hurt Blaster so badly. He’s one of the kindest and most generous mechs Eject has met in his long life.
And another, of course, is First Aid. Eject gives a small smile as he thinks of their dutiful medical-chief-in-training. “We owe him a lot," he says softly, “all of us."

Darkness and Comfort.
He wrapped his arms around Smokescreen, feeling comforted with the words and physical affection being given as he nuzzled the other’s midsection. Blaster wasn’t normally one for being as clingy as he was right now, but being as emotionally compromised as he was, it was almost painfully obvious he needed to let it out. As he listened to Smokey talking, it helped bring him down from being as wound up as he was and he was grateful to his lover for it.
“Rodimus asked me to come. He needed a communications officer for the ship and used a canned speech Drift gave him. I’m not saying they’re bad mechs but… It feels like they needed me to come and show Bumblebee they meant business…” He said softly, feeling a little resentful at the situation that started the journey for the communications officer. “Seeing you, the twins and Steeljaw here… that made me think I’d made a good decision to come anyway… Then the quantum jump because that duobot stood too close to the generator and just… I dunno, everything seemed to snowball once that happened and when the sparkeater showed up…”
“You coulda said no, I wouldn’a cared. We probably wouldn’t end up together, sure, and you’d spend the rest of your days pining or whatever it was that you did when I took off the first time with all your cash and prizes—sorry about that, by the way, you just made it so easy and you know the whole commitment thing wasn’t my game—and you would stayed on Cybertron. Now, between you and me, I’d take cabin fever and this slag that’s always going down on this stupid ship any day. I got you, the boys are back, and if we hit rock-bottom, who cares? There’s only one way to go and that’s up, sweetspark.” Smokescreen had always been as blunt and realistic as he possibly could, not really sparing feelings in personal endeavors because life didn’t exactly spare people’s feelings either. But he was understanding, he would listen and empathize and then give advice.
But coddling? Babying someone?
That wasn’t him and it hadn’t ever been. He was only sweet-talking when there was a good outcome for him, good stakes and chances. “So instead of focusing on everything that’s gone wrong and how that’s making you feel like a pile of slag, let’s talk about how we came pretty far from our first meeting, yeah sweetspark? Come on, get fresh with me, lay a pick up line on me so I can tell you to go and get your fuckin’ shine box. Come on now, remind me why I ran away the first time.”
The talking did help Blaster feel better, and he really didn't have a reason to complain when Smokescreen put things that way. He realized that it was foolish to let himself stay stuck in a depressing mood and that it wasn't like him at all. A smile came at the last remarks and he moved to pull the Datsun closer. "You want me to remind you, hmm?" He asked in a purr almost, tempted to get overly affectionate with the talking. "Well, I do remember that one time you let me spike you after the thigh-fragging didn't do anything for you. But Primus, Smokes, you're still as attractive as the day you crashed at my place."

It took all of his willpower to do anything, to move into the touch from Smokescreen or even uncurl himself. When Blaster did release himself from the position he had been in it didn’t help that his frame ached all over. And as if that weren’t bad enough, he wanted so desperately to feel anything other than the utter confusion and despair that plagued him since the death of his boys.
“Don’t know if I’m going crazy or what anymore, Smokes… almost thinking it might’ve been better to just have stayed home on Cybertron…” He whispered while moving to press close to the blue and white mech. “Why are we even here anymore?”
Smokescreen was always as blunt and honest as he could be. This situation required tact, sympathy, massive amounts of empathy. Which was exhausting, it was just exhausting to watch Blaster crippled with grief like this. He shifted, moved so Blaster could comfortably pillow his head in his lap, stroking over his helm absently. “It’s going to be okay, Blaster. They’re home now, that’s what counts. Don’t focus on the fact they were gone, you get bogged down in your grief and you might not get out of it.”
He dimmed his optics, clicking his glossa as he continued stroking and caressing Blaster’s helm, leaning back against the wall. “Cybertron’s gone to slag and it’s worth about as much as a stock market crash, sweetspark. It’s here or there. I don’t know why you’re here, if you’re here for the boys or you came for me because you thought it’d bring us closer or what but I’m telling you we’re here and you have to make due with that. Your boys are here and I’m here and that’s that. You made your choices, here we are. As for me, I’m here because I owe a lot of mechs a lot of money and this was the only way out. But it’s okay, we’re gonna try our best to be just fine, you hear me?”

“I ain’t real sure, to be honest,” Eject says, trying to make up for his rather stilted language with a gentle tone. He wants to be sensitive and delicate and grave for this occasion, because he feels Blaster’s grief deserves it, he just doesn’t have the verbal wherewithal. “Are you okay? I mean—frag, that’s a dumb question, but. Well. I’m okay, if that helps any…”

After his shift had ended, Blaster stayed in the darkness of his hab suite, curled up on his berth against the wall. It wasn’t like him to be so depressing, but that was how he felt lately. The deaths of the twins and now hearing from Eject again had left him feeling disoriented, lost for words in a position of office where words were the most powerful tools he had at hand.
//… Smokey? I… I need you…// He called out to his lover, unwilling to move from where he was to seek out the psychologist. //I’m in my hab suite.//
Dealing with something like loss, especially of someone so dear to one’s spark, was never an easy task. Smokescreen had been scant, kept quiet, unsure of how to even begin to offer comfort despite his lofty skills and training. It was one thing to comfort someone that he had a professional relationship with, things were simple and easily defined there. Boundaries existed that Smokescreen knew not the cross. But Blaster?
Things with Blaster were different, they always had been. And even now, when they were more or less understanding each other in terms of affection and being open with each other, Smokescreen didn’t quite know how to even begin. If this were a patient, he wouldn’t have fed them a line or a practiced conversation. But this was Blaster.
//I’m heading your way, sweetspark. You just hang on for a few more.// And Smokescreen had put away his bottles, his tumblers and his smokes, lighter tossed away carelessly onto his desk as he locked things up, heading to the hab suite that they might share one day but not right now, too much commitment, too many issues, Smokescreen needed his space.
But of course he knew the code to get in, keyed it and slipped inside, carefully moving to seat himself at the edge of the berth, reaching out to gentle brush his fingers against Blaster’s helm.
“Hey, doll. Baby, sugar, sweetspark, dear spark. Hey, you, c’mere and talk to me.”

Shock and Mourning.
He had been in the communications room when it happened. The chatter aboard the Lost Light was beginning to depress him with how dark it seemed and he couldn't help think that it was very much akin to how it felt during the war. The memories of that time, of when he nearly died after Soundwave's assassination attempt, were coming to the forefront as though something about recent times were buoying them. His friends were all alive, though, and he kept telling himself that as he watched the monitors and kept his audials open for anything that Red Alert could use for security purposes.
But he could not have expected the searing pain that would come, as though he'd been shot through the chest all over again, as though Beachcomber was being controlled into trying to snuff his spark again. He had to steady himself against the desk as his optics went wide and intakes became ragged, strength abandoning him for the second time in his life. Where did that sensation come from? Was it one of his symbiotes? He knew Rewind was in the medibay still, the pain was ebbing from that-- wait, no. No, no, no, no, no this can't be happening.
A sad keen escaped the communications officer's vocalizer before another searing pain burned its way through his chest. If Rewind had passed away moments before, then this one was Eject. The grief-stricken mech couldn't believe that his twins, two of his closest friends that were actually more like children to him than anything else, were gone. He knew the red rust virus had been plaguing Rewind but he had no idea that it was fatal. He had no idea that it would claim the lives of the twins.
And Eject was aware of what was to happen as well. This thought hurt Blaster the most. Knowing that they were going to die and not even being able to do anything about it... There was so much that he wanted to tell them that he felt as though spark-break was going to take him down into depression. But now wasn't the time to fall apart. Two hundred Autobots depended on him to keep trying to get the subspace communications array back up so they could get messages in to Cybertron. There was no telling how long the others would wait further for that.
But whether Blaster liked it or not, the show must go on.
Hiatus.
Don’t know how long but I’m taking an RP hiatus.

“Huh… That’s a lot to take in..” Feeling rather taken aback, Springer shook his head to clear his thoughts for a moment. “Do you know where Roadbuster is..?”
“I’m afraid not, Springer. I’m sorry, I haven’t seen him in a long while.” Blaster said apologetically. “He’s always been loyal to you.”
“He’ll show up someday..” Springer frowned, wondering where everyone disappears just like that. “Blaster, if there’s anything I can do for you in return, let me know.”
Blaster gave a small smile in response to Springer's offer. Were things different and his sons not suffering from something he couldn't help them with, he would have accepted it. But things were different now and he couldn't find the courage to turn him down. "Thanks, Springer. There... there is, actually. It's not... not something that can really be helped, but I need to find out where the virus that has plagued the ship came from." The communications officer said. "Rewind was infected with it."
