After having once again another horrible dating experience last night and replaying the events over and over in my head I decided I should honestly blog about my outrageous, horrible, dating experiences I have in countered within the last few months. I guess you all deserve a little bit of a background first. I'm Austin. I'm a 21 year old gay male living in good ol Louisville, Kentucky. No I'm not desperate by any means but I love meeting new people and if you have the nerves to invite me on date I wouldn't turn anyone down. I love people and enjoying getting to know others. With that being said I'm not your "stereotype gay man" I don't sleep around and jump in bed with the first guy I see. I respect myself way too much to put myself down like that. So let's get these stories started. Date 1. I had pulled up to the Valvoline to have my oil change before I had to drive to Nashville to teach a men's hair cutting class at a Salon (yes I'm a stylist). This guy(very attractive, about my age, slim, shaggy blonde hair) had been put in charge of my car. He was putting my information into the system and we couldn't stop smiling and cracking jokes at one another. It was actually really cute. The whole time we couldn't stop making eye contact at each other, but like everything it had to come to an end. On my down to Nashville I had a friend request on Facbook, a new follower on Instagram, and even a message from this guy. The message said "On a scale of 1-10 how stalkerish am I?" Of course that's where we hit it off. We chatted it up for days. Then finally he wanted to go on a date, of course I made excuses until one night I had the great idea that I should. He came over and off we went. We went to this cute Frozen Yogurt place and we could not stop laughing talking and smiling with each other. Once the shop was closing we decided we should go watch a movie at my place(I even laid down the no sex rule at the beginning). We cuddled and gazed off into the screen and every so often I caught him looking at me. The next day our conversations were still going strong until about the 2nd day. He began to become really short and awkward. Of course I called him out on it and the conversation went like this.... Him "why didn't you tell me?" Me"tell you what?" Him "about your transition?" Me "transition....? What are you talking about." Me "are you talking about a girl to guy situation?" Him "yeah...." Me "so you think I'm transgender" Him "yeah, why didn't you tell me." Me " OMG lmao I'm a guy, I have a dick and I do not intend on getting rid of it." There you go! So somehow he came to the conclusion that I was such a pretty guy I had to be a girl. Just so everyone knows I don't get mistaken for a girl a lot. I may have some feminine features but I can't help I have a pretty face!! So there you guys go Horrible date experience #1 and the next ones will be coming soon. I have so many within the last couple months you all are going to die. Have you had any??? Feel free to share :)
