I created a cover a little while ago for The Urban Legion, a funny novel about urban legends coming true. It’s a great read and it’s available now in paperback or Kindle at Amazon. https://lnkd.in/bpdQQYm
I’m working on a great project to create an activity book for the Jacksonville airports. Here’s an illustration that didn’t make the cut. Can you figure out the hidden word? Clue: airport.
Man of few words...
I picked up a tip from the great Jake Parker recently. If you’re in a bit of a drawing funk, copy great drawings. It helps to just get yourself into a flow and you build up a mental image bank that you can tap into later. So I drew some popeye sketches today. Such a fun character to draw. I love the way his body twists around.
I’m pretty sure this is what happened at the end of the Super Bowl.
Still so much to learn <: Thanks for lookin’

Wanted to reblog this here because I added the white boarder! <:
There’s still a lot of roughness to this but I thought I’d post it anyway <:
Hopefully tomorrow I’ll finish it up!
I just discovered Vivian Maier. She's a fascinating photographer. A lot of her photos capture really small, interesting stories. I based this illustration off one her photos.
I don't know why these vikings are boxing. They just are.
Merry Belated Christmas!
This is an in-progress project I'm working on. I call it "Made in America - Part II". It's an alternate ending to one of my favorite shows. Any guess on which show it is?
I created this poster a few months ago. I used a free 3d model program called SketchUp to create some reference. It’s a huge help to be able to build a scene and rotate around it to find an interesting perspective. Download sketchup for free: http://www.sketchup.com/.
