When I read each script, I’m always thinking what’s the next thing she is required to do to survive and how will it affect her. She’s now got the courage to do things that she may have only thought of in her mind back before any of this started. Like the other women in the show, she’s complex. She’s very sensitive, she has feelings and at the same time she’s empowering, strong and brave. Female characters don’t always have to be portrayed in one way. Women are complex. Women are interesting. Women are just as capable as the men and that’s what I love so much about the show. The female characters are portrayed just like in real life.
