And this is why I HATE Norman Reedus. This "Nope" was 1 million % him meaning "Nope, and it never will happen. Fuck you Caryl fans.

I LOVE Melissa's reaction of shock. She was afraid he would know how she feels and she was scared but Zabel had it directed and edited as her more concerned about Valentina's reaction than Daryls which is what we all wanted.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? COme on people, I need someone to discuss this with. I haven't watched a scene since episode 2 and I looked for this because I wanted to see it but not enough to watch the show.

There is also a video around where Zabel talks about how when he told Melissa and Daryl about this scene he thought they would have a lot to say and they didn't. They realized it was a plausible question and he had the most obnoxious, giddy, FU look on his face when he said it. They are both mocking Caryl fans, openly teasing them because it is never gonna happen. I am SORRY I am so bitter but this is truly the biggest waste of a ship OF ALL TIME and mocking fans who supported this for 14 years is a horrific way to treat your fans.

Still Here, Still Caryling

Okay, first of all, been an interesting year for me personally. Had a big health scare in the spring which involved a hospitalization with some surgery. It's all resolved now, I am in a much better space health wise now and still moving forward. It helped me put things in perspective in all things related to Caryl.

I am still ride or die Caryl, but I have been enjoying Season 3 immensely. To be submerged into the Spanish culture has been an added bonus and the cast are all wonderful actors. I am realitively spoiler free (I do know a few things, but to quote Norman from earlier TWD history, "I am unphased by that") It's been very helpful to have @lola-andheruniverse to counsel me on things I have found troubling and it's given me a much better understanding of the show this season. I still think Caryl is endgame, yes even with the show commentary and with interviews I have read.

What I'm not gonna do is allow parts of the Caryl fandom who disagree with my opinions of the show, to dissuade me from watching the show with my eyes wide open and to form my own opinion about how I see things. I think criticism of the show is fair, but some of the things I am seeing online are downright mean and cruel to the cast and creatives and especially the Spanish members of the cast who seem to be very excited about the show that is showing their culture and some of their history to an audience who otherwise might not see that history otherwise.

So, I know there are likely Carylers who are quietly watching and enjoying the show and feel like they are the only ones doing so. Just know this, you are not alone. There are more of us than you realize. I will ship Carol and Daryl forever, no matter what. And always remember...

I am wishing that I did more to support Melissa in the past instead of letting my feelings and my own hopes for Carol get in the way. I can't change the past, all I can do is try to highlight how exceptional she is now, in all her moments of measured responses, the mental gymnastics she has to perform constantly to try to salvage some meaning and purpose from the writing, in her grace, and in all the things she doesn't say.

I have been spoken over my entire life, I know how exhausting that is. To see this happen to her in front of crowds of people, and to see her still maintain her grace and professionalism, is nothing short of awe inspiring. It also says so much about the kind of conditions she is working under. And that is heartbreaking.

I see how she has had to pick her battles, how she has fought so tirelessly for Carol, and I see that there are still so many things I don't see.

Melissa McBride deserves the universe and I will never understand why people don't hand it over to her.
