Due to this the Staff and I have decided that in order to celebrate all the friendships that have formed throughout the years that a ball shall be hosted! Biography: Aliona Remizov was born to a muggle father and witch mother. Her father, Arnold Remizov, was a muggle who was a literature professor from Russia. Her mother had been an assistant healer as St. Mungo’s until Aliona was seven years of age. All throughout Aliona’s life, she had given off the impression that she was an oddball. Preferring to go on adventures with her Border Collie, Ford, than spend time with the children in her muggle neighborhood, Aliona got herself into more trouble than her parents could handle. Part of Aliona’s oddness came from the obvious presence of magic in her life from a very early age. When she was just a year old she started showing signs of being a witch, and her mother couldn’t have been prouder. But when it had come time for Hogwarts, Aliona started to learn new things about herself.
Ever since she was ten, she’d had this fascination with the idea of female empowerment and the iconic images of famous women. But during the summer of her fifth year, Aliona realized that it was more than that. She actually liked girls. Needless to say, when she approached her parents about such ideas, her mother’s heart was shattered. Gertrude Remizov could not tolerate her daughters unladylike thoughts and views. It was then that Aliona had been kicked out of the house at the age of fifteen, and had lived on the streets all that summer until having to return to Hogwarts that next year. However, over the summer the threat of the war started to take its toll on her family. It was just before Christmas of her fifth year that she received the news that her parents had divorced for her father’s protection.
Aliona couldn’t allow her father to live without someone to protect him though. So she thus arranged to live with her father over the holidays to keep an eye on him. She had been fed up with her mother’s habits of just chucking a problem out of her house. For the past two years, Aliona has lived a happy life with her father; who couldn’t care less about her sexual preference. It’s been the happiest two years of her life, but even though she’s had problems in the past her childlike innocence never wavered. Aliona can most likely still be seen waltzing down the halls with her invisible dance partner, or cooking imaginary concoctions in the kitchens to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a chef.

Response: Aliona Remizov
2. When is your character’s blood status? Pureblood, Halfblood or Muggleborn.
Response: Halfblood
3. What House is your character in and how do they feel about this? *
Response: Alio is a Hufflepuff and it’s the house she feels she’s most suited for. When she was being sorted into her Hogwarts house, the sorting hat had thought about placing her in Slytherin, but chose Hufflepuff due to Alio’s more generous and spontaneous nature. She loves being in Hufflepuff, and loves that her dorms are by the kitchens, since she loves food of any kind.
4. Describe to us your character’s relationship with their family? *
Response: Alio was very close to her father growing up. She was his little angel, and he loved her for who she was. He hadn’t cared about what her choices were in life, as long as she stayed true to herself. Her relationship with her mother isn’t as stable. Her mother grew up with a more strict upbringing, and she did not tolerate the things that her daughter did, nor what she viewed. Alio can always be seen arguing with her mother. Alio lives with her father now though, since her parents had decided to separate so as to not bring Alio’s muggle father into danger from the wizarding war. Alio lives with him though, so she can protect him, and make sure that he isn’t lonely living alone away from everything he knew and loved.
5. Describe to us your character’s appearance. *
Response: Alio is five feet three inches. She’s rather skinny, and looks like she could be snapped in half is someone were to hug her too hard. She has red hair that she dyes a brighter ginger to make her stand out a bit more; it comes down to her shoulders. She also dresses in odd clothing when not in school uniform. Usually mixing different patterns together and not being very “fashion forward”. Most of her clothing also comes second hand or from thrift stores. But one thing she is always seen in, are her bright orange converse.
6. Describe to us your character’s personality. *
Response: Alio is her own person. She doesn’t really care about what other people think. Most of the time she’s too busy having fun in her own little world to listen to others anyway. A favorite pastime of Alio’s is to waltz around the courtyards and through the halls with an invisible partner. She’s the kind of person who hums to herself just so that there is noise, and she can’t sit still for five minutes. Alio is a kind and generous witch though, who is always there for her friends when they need her. Her usual form of cheering someone up is by cooking for them. It’s her dream and aspiration to be a chef more than anything else in the world. And as far as the war is concerned, she doesn’t see why the “bad side” can’t see the “good side” as people too. Alio’s mind always seems very complex on the outside, but inside it’s as simple as it can get. There’s no need to over analyze with her. She’ll just say it like it is.

Response: Cooking, Listening to others, being a team player

Response: Listening to the rules, hot girls, focusing

Response: Neutral. She doesn’t care about the war. She just hopes that both sides come to an agreement.

Response: Alio’s patronus would be a sea turtle.

Response: Alio’s Boggart would be a glass cage. It’s her greatest fear that she will only ever be able to observe what’s going on around her, and never be able to immerse herself in the life she wants to have.

Response: Alio would see herself being the person her mother expects her to be. She’d have no bright red hair, she’d wear plain skirts and blouses, and she’d be a lady.

Response: Alio’s wand would be Dogwood because it’s drawn to a mischievous and excited person. Alio loves to get herself into trouble, and this wand wood would fit her personality perfectly. Not to mention that someone as odd and fun loving as Alio would most likely have a wand that can be noisy.

Response: the core would be dragon heartstring, seeing as how it can be temperamental and that kind of characteristic in a core would accompany the wood’s characteristic of being noisy and drawn to excitement.

Response: the characteristic of the wand will be slightly swishy. This is because Alio has quite the overactive imagination, and is always cheerful and optimistic no matter what the situation is.

Response: I would like to ship Alio with Rosaline in hufflepuff. But if that is not wanted, then the only other ship I want is a brotp between Alio and Victor.

5. Which is your favourite Harry Potter character and why?
As I answered Weasley Twins last, I will give you my second favourite this time: Draco Malfoy. I’ll be honest and say I like him mainly for the fact that his story is kind of tragic - as well as his relationship with a certain main character named Harry Potter. I have this feeling inside that Draco and Harry could have been great friends, had Harry given him the chance. I’ll admit that Draco was kind of a douchebag, but then how would you expect him to act when his father used to be a Death Eater? But even with that upbringing, Draco shows that this is NOT the person he wants to be - he is unable to kill. He can not take the life of Dumbledore, and he is one of the people who seems the most affected when learning about Harry’s death. He’s also terrified of becoming a Death Eater, even if he acts proud when in front of others.

I have an unhealthy obsession with Dylan O’Brien, and Robert Sheehan... and I like High School Musical unironically.

Travis Jacobs, 15, 13/03/59
Born in Ireland. Current residence: London, England.

Born on March 13th, 1959 to parents currently unknown to him, given up for adoption not too long after, and taken in by Eugene and Lydia Jacobs. The boy himself has no idea that he was adopted, and believes himself to be the son of a squib father and a muggle mother - thus making him a muggleborn, seeing as neither of his parents had any magical abilities. Besides from that, his parents treated him completely as if he was their own. He attended muggle institutions from age 2 till 11. In his younger age, he was pretty well-received by other children, and had a lot of friends, but they quickly grew apart when the other children became more calm and mature, and Travis kept on going with his high energy level and pranks - he simply became too much for them, and he became someone that others rolled their eyes at and didn’t want to associate with - save for a few like-minded students.
When he grew old enough, and started showing signs of skills in the magical arts, his father began teaching him about the magical world. Travis hooked himself onto the idea of a hierarchy based solely upon blood status - and he quickly learned to hate purebloods, seeing those were the kinds of people who had thrown his father on the streets before he could barely fend for himself. He became proud of his heritage, and determined to show the world that someone’s skills are not determined by the parents they have.
When the time for him to attend magical school grew closer, he took to reading about the magical world, especially Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, determined to teach himself all there was to be known about the world he’d be living in for the next many years of his life. When he learned about the war, he immediately set his mind to fighting for what he believed was right - equality. His biggest dream became to overthrow the power the purebloods seemed to have bestowed upon themselves, and to kill Voldemort with his own hands. He also became determined to become a part of Gryffindor house - seeing as they had a rivalry with his least favourite house - Slytherin.
During his first year, on the train ride there, in fact, Travis met a boy the same age as himself, whose looked suspiciously similar to his own. So similar, in fact, that the two of them decided that they were brothers. Thus the “Same face Brothers” came to be - and Travis had met the best friend he would ever have. At the sorting ceremony, he begged the sorting hat to sort him into Gryffindor - and his wishes coupled with the qualities of his personality and potential as a wizard indeed got him sorted into the house he most wanted. As for subjects, the young boy quickly showed skills when it came to brewing potions - as well as flying.
In fact, he took such a liking to flying that he ended up begging his parents for a broom, and made sure to try out for the team first chance he got, making himself stand out enough to apparently be chosen as the Gryffindor seeker, a position he’s kept till this day.

Assumed Muggleborn. But is in reality Pureblood.
3. What House is your character in and how do they feel about this? *
Gryffindor
In first year, Travis had begged the sorting hat to place him in this very house. As he put it “Please sort me into Gryffindor. Anything but Slytherin will work, but please sort me into Gryffindor!”
Aside from him pushing the hat with his wishes, he’s also incredibly brave and stubborn. I really don’t see him fitting into any other house - seeing as he’s rather loud and lively, not too creative, not exactly loyal... and absolutely hates purebloods. But the fact that he would gladly die to save the lives of others, and that he really has no problem with this, just makes him a perfect Gryffindor if you ask me.
4. Describe to us your character’s relationship with their family? *
Travis is very close with both of his parents, and he loves them very dearly. In fact, he loves his father so much that when he found out about his past, he set his mind to fight in the war and defeat the purist bastards who threw him on the streets.
So really, I can’t describe his relationship with his parents much better than simply - they love each other more than anything. He would do anything for his parents, and the same applies the other way around.
Now Vincent is a slightly different story - they’re as close as brothers, perhaps even closer than that, considering the activities they do together. Travis loves this boy dearly, and really, he just wants him to be happy, not realizing that what he wants for his own future, could ruin the other boys happiness forever. Their relationship is complicated, and deep, and there’s definitely a very deep love and understanding here. if anyone were to touch Vincent, you can be sure they’d hear from Travis’ fist - or perhaps feel his skills in the art of potion-brewing first hand.
5. Describe to us your character’s appearance. *
Gangly - or at least that’s the way he appears while fully clothed, because in reality - the boy is rather fit. He has a huge mess of curly, dark brown hair - which nicely contrasts his pale green-blue eyes, which are brought out further by his thick, dark eyebrows, and rather noticeable lower lashes . He has fair skin, although I wouldn’t exactly describe him as being pale - seeing as he does love the outdoors, and swimming. In summer, when the sun shines brightest, you might be lucky to see the faintest shadows of freckles across his face - but apart from that, the only real markings he has is a single beauty mark next to his right eye, so deep in the corner that when he smiles, it disappears in the faint wrinkles. He also has rather full lips, and a pretty ordinary nose - slender towards the top, and a bit wider towards the bottom. Really nothing to write home about there.
6. Describe to us your character’s personality. *
Travis is... well he’s a lot to handle for most people who come into contact with him. He’s always full of energy, and tends to joke around and flirt a lot. He’s honestly rarely ever serious outside of class - even less so when he’s with Vincent.

Bravery, particularly skilled with potions, Vincent, caring, realistic-optimist.
8. Describe your character’s weaknesses. *
Untrustworthy, afraid of commitment, claustrophobic, Vincent.

The Order

Tiger
The meaning of this animal, and the reason it is Travis’ patronus - is willpower, courage, personal strength, aggression or anger felt towards someone or yourself, a shadow part of yourself you want to hide and unpredictability. Travis is all of these things, but the thing he prides himself most upon is his courage and willpower. Even if he tends to hide his true feelings when it comes to friendship and romance, there’s always a higher purpose to his actions. Another meaning of the tiger is good physical health,vitality - Travis has a higher than average metabolism, and he tends to heal rather fast. not to mention he is physically strong - pretty much every part of his body weight is muscle. So even though he’s thin-looking... any past of him that does look fuller - especially his legs and upper arms - is something he’s trained to be strong.
So he is, in all senses of the phrase “strong like a tiger”.
11. What would your character’s Boggart be – and what is the reason for this? *
Travis’ boggart is a dark, hooded, faceless person, moving behind himself to grab him. The figure, at this point, has shifted slightly, and is starting to become recognizable - although Travis will always be the only one to ever see it, because of the hood.
What you have to understand is that the person Travis fears the most in this world - is Voldemort. And seeing as he does not know what the man looks like - the figure he would see could be literally anyone. This is also one of his reasons for not allowing himself to grow close to anyone.
Besides his fear of the man he’s fighting, Travis is terribly claustrophobic - this stems from his fear of being tied down and captured - being unable to act. The idea of him being caught up somewhere, while the world is at war - without being able to do anything... that is possibly the worst to him.
12. Should your character come across the Mirror of Erised what would they see? *
His family - both of his parents, himself, and Vincent - standing together and holding hands, happy together. Travis doesn’t realize himself, that what he wants the most is not to fight, but in fact is to make his family happy. It’s something that looms in the back of his mind - and something he most likely won’t realize until the day he dies - if that can even do it. But alas, what he wants the most, his true desire, is to be happy together with the people he loves.
13. What wand wood will your character have and why? (You can find a list here). *
Cypress
Brave, self-sacrificing, bold, and destined to die a heroic death - these are the qualities associated with the wood type.
Let me answer this further by giving you an example! Travis and a few other students are walking along a path, and they come across a bridge - in the middle of that bridge stands a troll. The troll demands that one of the students - and only one - fights and defeats him before they can move on. Travis would, without hesitation, step forwards, wand lifted, and offer himself for a duel with the troll.
And to explain the last quality, one which is not that important, but still applies to Travis - he is completely and utterly ready to die for what he believes in. In fact, this is why he refuses to commit himself to most people - because in his self-sacrificing nature, he realizes he will most likely end up dying in the war.
So this is why cypress is the wood most suitable for the boy.

Phoenix Feather
Like Travis, a wand with this core is hard to win over - but once you do it, they’re both faithful partners. They’re also both very picky with the people they pledge allegiance to. In fact, the animal itself is similar to Travis, and that’s probably why - despite not being very good with spells - Travis is so closely connected to his wand. It also helps that his wand has a mind of it’s own, to sort of make up for it’s owners slight incompetence. However, the wand is growing impatient with him, so Travis needs to step up his game if he is to keep it’s loyalty.

12 ½ inches, Supple
Now, besides being tall for his age, travis also has a very forceful and dominating personality - however lacking slightly in the whole trust department. Hence, he has a just slightly longer-than-average wand, if average is the middle range of all wand lengths. As for the flexibility, this wand goes very very withe the fact that Travis is exceptionally good when it comes to potions. It also further explain the reason travis isn’t so good with spells - as this type of wand has a hard time opening up to it’s owner, and showing it’s abilities. This would have put the young Travis off for quite a while, and easily explains his reluctance when it comes to getting better.

No, not really.

No, as long as everyone realizes that Travis has a very strict no-relationships policy, and it would take a lot of hard work if you want him to be shipped with anyone.

Here is Choon's Second Character! Well done!
Biography:
Born March 10th 1959 to one Leira O’Dwyer, a muggle ex-concert violinist, who at the time was working at a diner in order to put bread on the table. Leira had an affair with Alastair Lynch, the father of Victor Lynch, whilst he and his wife were having a quarrel over children. It was a short lived affair. From an early age Leira had started teaching Vincent how to play violin, being raised a muggle - Vincent knew nothing of the wizarding world, and he never knew of his father so he had no reason to believe he was anything but “ normal “ . On one particular night, when Vincent was 4, a strange woman showed up to his house, a witch, whom was furious with his mother. She didn’t know there was a small boy watching from a doorway as she ranted on about filthy muggles and how she wouldn’t have her taint sleeping with her husband again. In one fell swoop, and a flick of her wand, she had killed Vincent’s mother with a spell and was gone into the night.
With no family left, Vincent was put into a muggle orphanage, but not many people would want to adopt a small boy who was so emotionally traumatized that he kept saying that his mother was killed by a witch. It didn’t take long for Vincent to realize that talking about how his mother died, would only get him ridiculed and leave him without even a foster family. Spending the next 6 years in the care of muggles, on the eve of his 10th birthday Dumbledore himself came to fetch him and had him placed more specifically in a wizarding orphanage, where he remained unadopted. The only things he still has from his old life are two violins, his childrens violin, and the emerald green violin that his mother left behind from her concert days, as well as his clothes
In that Orphanage, he learned what Muggles, Purebloods, and Halfbloods were.. And thats where he developed the hatred of Purebloods and anyone who is a purist. That entire year at the orphanage was pretty miserable for him what with learning all that new stuff but he eventually found that he really liked the wizarding world. There were things he’d never had and never tasted, and wouldn’t be able to taste unless he had money, but certainly he would someday.
He didn’t have to wait long however because his first year, he met Travis Jacobs - a same year student, who remarkably looked like him. He and the boy became very close friends very quickly, because of their like mindedness, and they have spent nearly every year together so far, since meeting. Travis prefers Vincent to consider his family his- but its still a bit hard for him at this point, only because he’s still afraid that people will leave him, but instead of staying at Hogwarts now for the breaks in holidays, he goes home with Travis and spends Christmas there. He’s gotten accustomed to calling Travis’ parents mum and dad though.

Gryffindor
Vincent wouldn’t want to be in any other house but Ravenclaw, but he prefers Gryffindor by and large. Most the characteristics he possesses are certainly very Ravenclaw like, but he has a large amount of traits that make him part of the great house of Gryffindor, most of which he greatly shares with someone very dear to him.
4. Describe to us your character’s relationship with their family?
Vince is an orphan. However, The only family that Vincent actually feels that he has, is another young Gryffindor boy, by the name of Travis Jacobs. Blood doesn’t make family, as Vince would say, and thusly he spends a lot of time at their house. Travis’ parents, he considers his own. He and Travis have an amazing bond that they’ve created over the past 5 years at Hogwarts, it’s deep, and they’d give anything for one another, including their lives.
5. Describe to us your character’s appearance. *
As per physical appearance, he resembles Victor Lynch, and Travis Jacobs - remarkably. That would probably be because they are all actually related by their father. They share the same one.
Vincent is at 15, about 180-182 centimeters ( 5’11” - 6’0 ) - with semi broad shoulders,lithe, but he tends to hold more weight around his face more so than both Victor or Travis, but that tends to disappear the older he gets, but he also refuses to eat a lot because he feels like he weighs too much, and he wants to look as lovely as Travis. His eyes are hazel, from his mother, hair scraggly much like Victors, with the occasional twist. His skin is pale, and his hair is dark. From the right angle, and with facial hair the right way, he looks unbelievably like Victor, as if he could be his twin as a matter of fact.
6. Describe to us your character’s personality. *
The delicate subject of Vincent’s personality is actually separated into two parts. With Travis, and Without Travis.
With Travis -
When in the company of Mister Jacobs, or rather around other people- he is flirty, and very obnoxious and loud- much like Travis himself. There is no limit to the crudeness that they both possess when together. They smoke together, they drink together, hell, they do other unspeakable things together, so in essence, they are two halves of the same coin.
Without Travis -
He is a completely silent person without Travis. He is observant, and reserved- can be skeptical, and tends to be so on a regular basis. He fears growing attached to people he’s going to lose, so he does not seek out other people. He is very dedicated to his studies, and learning about new things. As for other aspects about his personality, he tends to have a very strong optimistic streak. He will continue to press on in the darkest of situations, but that doesn’t stop his fear of losing people. Should you develop a friendship with him, be ready for someone who would rather die than lose you. He would readily jump in front of someone’s spell for you, if you were in trouble.
Aside from the fact that he completely hates Purebloods and purists. But inevitably at some point his optimism fails him.
7. Describe your character’s strengths. *
Well it stands to reason that since Vincent loves Transfiguration, Arithmancy, and Divination so much, they are some of his best subjects, but aside from that, despite his horrendous situation, he plays very well at being optimistic all the time. It’s not that he isn’t optimistic at all, but his life has not treated him all too kindly.
Physically, he’s pretty fast, and there really isn’t anything wrong with him health wise. Hes dedicated so he actually tends to be very focused on schoolwork. He would have been a Ravenclaw if he hadn’t specifically asked the hat to sort him into Gryffindor.
Vincent is mostly a self taught violinist, and he actually does quite well at freestyle, he has been picking up every book he possibly can since he was originally taught to play by his mother.
8. Describe your character’s weaknesses. *
That one’s easy. Attachment, and abandonment issues. He does not like getting attached, and he feels that anyone and everything he ever comes in contact with, will leave him. He doesn’t think he’s got luck, and he has horrible self esteem and you will find him often times trying to skip meals because he feels he’s fat. Travis. Travis is his biggest weakness, and his greatest strength all at once, but if you put him in danger, he will come for your ass- and you will not like the consequences.
9. Where does your character’s alliance fall?
I would personally say that Vincent is more inclined towards the Order, mostly on the basis that he is NOT a purist, and he matter of factly hates purebloods because of his past.
10. What would your character’s patronus be?
Vincent’s patronus is actually a Binturong. It’s funny because it sort of looks like him.
The description for a binturong is as follows -

11. What would your character’s Boggart be – and what is the reason for this? *
Vincen’ts boggart is Travis being grabbed by large hands of darkness,and being dragged back into the wardrobe,kicking and screaming- and having the doors lock behind him.. While all he can do is sit there screaming, and pounding on the doors.
He’s afraid of losing the only thing he holds dear...Travis, he’s afraid of being absolutely alone again, and it scares him sometimes to the point where he doesn’t know what to do or how to act.
12. Should your character come across the Mirror of Erised what would they see? *
Oooh. The status of the image really depends on the time frame he’d find it in. However mostly always, its Vincent, holding hands with Travis, whom is at his side..
But.. once Travis is gone, he’d see Travis alive and holding him from behind like he always had.
13. What wand wood will your character have and why? (
English Oak actually.Vincent is as loyal as they come, one could say he’s..akin to a dog. It doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you stay with him, he will be there. Also, strength, courage, and fidelity characterize him quite well, and he’s quite skilled with magic in general, though I don’t know if you’d consider transfiguration to be a natural world type of magic.
14. What wand core will your character have and why?
Unicorn hair core, because it produces consistent magic and tends to be really faithful to the wand owner, and the wand wood certainly compensates for the core. It will also most likely remain very strongly attached to the first owner, regardless of whatever it is that he achieves in life. It’s also hard to make the wand go darkside with this sort of core.
15. What characteristics will your character’s wand have and why?
Unyielding actually. Good for combative and healing magic, and doesn’t stray from the original owners preference. Vincent is confident in his magical abilities, he is smart, and at least slightly cynical, and he has very well developed principles that he will not at all change for anyone. These things actually entirely embody Vincent, because as a wizard, he tends to focus on studying and knows his abilities are very good. He doesn’t brag however. He’s not arrogant in the slightest , he would never presume to know more than someone, or think he’s better than anyone. .He is perfectly well aware that he does not know all there is to know about something but he does however believe that he is a very talented wizard, that given the chance, could go places in any field.

Response: She’s in Slytherin. Margaret thinks that it’s most fitting to be in Slytherin. If she was put in any other house, she’d refuse to go to Hogwarts. Ever since she was little it was her dream to impress her father more than anyone else in the world, and when she got into the same house as him, it was her dream come true.
4. Describe to us your character’s relationship with their family? *
Response: Margaret is somewhat distant with her family. She understood why her parents divorced, but she doesn’t like the shame that it brought upon her family’s name. Therefore, she is a bit more put off by her mother than she is with her father. In truth, she lives to prove that she is a better Herbert than her brother, Jason, by living up to the expectations their father sets up for them. The only person she really seems to care about in her family is her brother. When she’s not teasing him for his lack of social skills, she’s actually decent towards him. She actually does care about his well -being in a backwards way.
5. Describe to us your character’s appearance. *
Response: Margaret is tall, thin, and blonde. She’s got a sort of grace and air about her that makes her look unapproachable at times. Her hair is usually perfectly straight, and she always has a look of discontent on her face unless she’s around her friends. All of the time she is dressed to her very best when she’s not in school uniform. And even in her uniform, she somehow manages to look like the model she one day hopes to be.
6. Describe to us your character’s personality. *
Response: Margaret is basically….a bitch. She either likes you or doesn’t. There isn’t any “in between” with her. She’s quick to judge, and will laugh if you are acting pathetic, or are below her standards. But even though she acts this way, she’s got a heart where it counts. Most of the time she’s flirtatious. And just like her brother, she can be a bit clueless about other people’s feelings. Margaret is very blunt though, when it comes to asking questions. It doesn’t matter if it’s a sensitive subject or not, she’ll go straight for the kill and say what needs to be said regardless of one’s feelings. Although she wouldn’t care to admit it to herself, she does like it when she has someone by her side. There is something about companionship with her, that makes her feel a bit more secure; especially with all the craziness after her parent’s divorce.

Response: Since Magaret isn’t a death eater she can cast a patronus. Her patronus would be a Cougar.

Response: Margaret’s boggart would be a mirror showing her being an old hag. She hates the idea of getting old and being ugly and fat. And it’s her greatest fear that if she becomes so, then no one would accept her or like her anymore.

Response: Margaret would see her family whole again. Her mother and father still married, her brother accomplished, and her being the daughter her father wanted.

Response: Emma Vanity is Margaret’s closest friend. They are in the same house together, and while they are a year apart, they have a lot in common. Both girls enjoy going on double dates with pureblooded boys, and fashion. It is actually because of Emma that Margaret is a model for her mother’s fashion line. Margaret owes almost everything to Emma for amplifying her image.
Axton Max is a friend of Margaret as well. They’d been seeing each other on and off for two years, but first a foremost they are friends. Although Margaret wouldn’t mind making things a bit more official, she isn’t going to hold her breath for that. But she can say one thing about him, he is AMAZING.

Response: Remus Lupin, there are so many reasons – I suppose I’ll begin with the fact that the first time we ever meet him he’s handing out chocolate to help after a Dementor attack. I mean – who couldn’t love a character with a store of chocolate? But there are other reasons too – I love the fact he’s the most sensible and stalwart characters in the books at least when it comes down to helping others. He’s one of my favourite teachers as he proves that the lessons don’t have to be a bore and always brings out the best in all of his students. I admire the way that Remus attempts to do everything for the right reasons, or what he perceives to be the right reasons, he lives and dies for what he believes in – something I admire greatly about him.

Biography:
Born on the 19th of June to Christine Ouillet and an absentee father Jacques knows little about his true origins. Jac grew up with his Uncle Mathieu his wife - Andréa Ouillet after his mother passed away during his birth. They took him in as their own son since Mathieu held deep concerns that leaving his sister’s supposed ‘only’ child with Richard Queen with whom he felt little compassion for would only end in disaster. Little did they realise that Christine didn’t have only one child that day – in fact she’d had twins: one boy (Jacques) and one girl (Elizabeth). Jacques was taken away to be raised as the Ouillet heir as Mathieu and Andréa had always wished to have a son in order to continue the Ouillet line.
When Jacques was young, no one would question that he was bound for something great with an Eidetic memory he was able to recall things with surprising accuracy. Over the years this talent remained and he finds it more than useful when studying as he can remember rather large chunks of text without much studying required although it does leave him with a headache after too much use. Occasionally he recalls too much information at once and the overload causes him to feel tired and he requires a nap to regain his wits. He grew up in Avignon, spending a lot of time by the Rhône River or on the rooftops, and getting to know all of the locals. Jacques was known to be a clever boy with a cheeky sense of humour and far too much energy, he was also known to occasionally sneak out of his house to go climbing on the rooftops of the houses in Avignon – he became quite talented at traversing the streets both during day and night.
As well as his physical abilities, Jacques was also gifted with magic, often causing some accidents around the family mansion, however the sign that he had such abilities caused Mathieu and Andréa to dote upon him even more. Andréa tried to spend as much time with her adoptive son as possible, showing him all that life had to offer at his stage. He was a happy, curious, and kind-spirited child who never stopped smiling. His parents recognised that Jacques had rather a lot of energy and needed some kind of activity to keep him interested – at first anything he tried he enjoyed but never truly took to. That was until he discovered his talent for martial arts, he studied them at length as a child and when he had the opportunity to learn he took to it like a duck to water. He started to train in his free time and with an overactive mind and far too many espionage stories he began to teach himself how to apply what he’d learnt in class to everyday actions. The talent that he eventually developed was the ability to free run through the streets of Avignon.
Jacques got his Hogwarts letter during his eleventh summer, and was a little apprehensive about attending. After arriving though he soon made friends, and found that he had no need to be afraid of Hogwarts – the staff were understanding, most of the students were kind and there were adventures to be had.
These days Jacques spends quite a lot of time in the Common Room, the Library, the Astronomy Tower or beside the Black Lake finding these to be the best places to enjoy a steaming brew of tea or coffee along with a book or something of the sort. His most common haunt is the Library however as he tends to run tutor sessions for any students he notices are having issues with their work which has gained rather a lot of recognition with the staff. Due to this in his fifth year he was awarded with the position of Prefect something he is very proud of. Generally Jacques is a friendly young boy who just aims to get through life without too much confrontation.

Response: Jacques Raoul Ouillet.
2. When is your character’s blood status? Pureblood, Halfblood or Muggleborn.
Response: Pureblood – his father is Richard Queen and mother is Christine Queen née Ouillet. He was raised by his Pureblood aunt and uncle in Avignon up until the age of eleven when he was sent away to Hogwarts.
3. What House is your character in and how do they feel about this? *
Response: Jacques was sorted into Ravenclaw – he feels very much at home here as he has spent his entire life trying to find answers about his childhood. Mathieu revealed enough to him to help him understand but he always craved more – craved to learn why his father had abandoned him. He’s very similarly behaved when it comes to something he doesn’t understand – he will try his hardest to seek out any missing answers. He is rather quick minded and can figure out most issues rather quickly often coming up with suggestions in order to better help his friends.
4. Describe to us your character’s relationship with their family? *
Response: Jacques has a very strong bond with his family as he knows how they took him in after the death of his mother. He holds family and friendship to be some of the most essential things in life and because of this he respects his parent’s and friend’s wishes. Even though Mathieu and Andréa aren’t his true parents he still refers to them as such because they were there to raise and look after him no matter what happened or what he did. Even on the few occasions he was escorted home by Police for being caught on the rooftops they never told him off or even when they did it never lasted long as Jacques always took responsibility for what he’d done accepting any punishment required. However, due to his kind nature most people always overlooked anything he did – citizens often enjoyed the times he’d stop to pay visits to them even if it was via his rather curious method of transport. He always enjoys being up high and because of this the rooftops were always a place he enjoyed to explore – you could see things that no one else could and discover the few places that no one paid attention to.
5. Describe to us your character’s appearance. *
Response: Jacques is an exceptionally attractive and handsome young man. His height is is 6 ft 1 and his weight is 174 lbs. Jacques is described to have icy blue eyes which are occasionally described as being unnerving and dark brown hair that falls into his eyes both of which contrast against his naturally tanned skin. His facial features are angular – high cheekbones; long thick lashes, full lips and an elegant throat, a strong jawline and a perfectly straight nose.
As a fighter he is well-built with rather broad shoulders. Jacques possesses callused hands from his years of training at various martial arts.
Jacques clothing style is quite casual, usually seen wearing shirts, jeans and jackets although he can also use a more classic and refined outfit if the situation requires it. He uses accessories such as leather bracelets or necklaces depending on what he is wearing. He has done some part time modelling for his friend – Emma Vanity at her mother’s company.
6. Describe to us your character’s personality. *
Response: Jacques is a kind soul, Jacques is nice to whoever is nice to him. He tries to assume the best in people and doesn’t like to make snap judgements – because he would hate for someone to do that to him. Jacques is charming, in practically every sense of the word. He is kind, protective, open and honest. He’s a boy of simple values, that if you want a happy life all you need is the people you love most. However this particular frame of mind might be considered naïve by some but Jacques recognises that not everyone is as trustworthy as they seem. Jacques reads extensively and has a perfect memory. He can find a quote for any situation and often makes his own (very bad, although purposeful) poetry.
7. Describe your character’s strengths. *
Response:
Composed – Jacques is known for keeping his cool, no matter what’s going on around him he’s able to cut through to an issue and deal with it directly. It is rare for him to ever fly off the handle although there are occasions that this could happen.
Determined – Jacques wouldn’t have gotten where he is today without determination and a strong will. No matter what you need to be done he’ll take the time to make sure it is completed. He’ll try to help anyone with any of their problems this is probably just one of the many reasons he was chosen to be a prefect in his fifth year.
Eidetic Memory – Jacques has a photographic memory; he can remember large chunks of information at any one time. It’s almost as though his mind is indexed so he can drag particular memories or thoughts forward and remember them rather accurately – to what he was doing five years ago or what he did the prior day. Occasionally he finds that when he tries to draw back too many memories in any one time he’s left feeling tired and eventually gets a headache after too much use without any breaks. He prides himself on this particular talent and uses it to help other students whenever they might need his help.
Honest – Jac was brought up to be an honest young wizard. He himself hates being lied to or spared the truth, so in turn he is rather straight talking and no-nonsense to those who he does speak with.
Intelligent – Jacques has always been near the top of his class. His intuition and logical mind have proven to be quite an attribute in the classroom. He is both street smart with a hint of book smart together making a deadly combination when used appropriately.
Loyal – Jacques would do anything for his friends within logical reason. If he can offer them aid of peace of mind with his words then he’ll do his upmost to help them out be it by giving them an ear to listen or trying to give advice he’ll always attempt to ease the minds of others if he can.
Placid – His calming demeanour has an effect on others, benefiting those around him. When Jacques is around he can be the person to go to if they you’re under extreme stress. Jacques will go to his best to calm the person with his charm and rational suggestions.
8. Describe your character’s weaknesses. *
Response:
Hot headed – Despite his generally calm exterior, Jacques has a fairly hot temper when provoked. Much like a snake, he is calm and rather easy-going until cornered; and then he’ll strike. Jacques prefers to be underestimates, he likes to be seen as the harmless kid until it’s time to strike – that’s when hell breaks loose.
Indecisive – When it comes to decisions Jacques never has been too good, he hates it when people leaves making choices down to him – much rather preferring them to make their minds up and get on with their own lives. He never has nor ever will be very good at making choices always asking other people for their opinions on things.
Perfectionist – When it comes to doing work Jacques is rather over critical of what he produces if it isn’t up to standard then he always makes an effort to redo his work so that he can get as good grades as he could possibly get. He can get rather stressed at times over this and requires some help from people to get his mind off of making sure everything is perfect. He is also quite neat in the dorm although it’s not to a level that people could call him obsessive.
Reserved – One thing Jacques doesn’t enjoy doing is talking about himself, sure if he’s asked questions he’ll answer them although on occasion he’ll feel rather cornered and would prefer to just avoid them. In these instances he’d make his excuse and find a way to leave the conversation before things truly turn awkward.
Temperamental – Some days he can take on his work load and go through the day with ease, but on rare occasions his personality seems to take on a new essence, and becomes a little mean-spirited or fatigued. When he transitions through moods, Jacques often feels as if he is completely morphing into another person.
9. Where does your character’s alliance fall? – The Order, Death Eaters or Other (if other please specify).
Response: Jac’s alliance doesn’t actually fall towards either The Order or The Death Eaters. He does sympathise with those who are reported dead in the Daily Prophet however he tends to avoid arguments over blood purity as much as he can. All Jac wants to do is get through school, get the grades and hopefully go on to get a job he enjoys and a family of his own.

Response: Jacques’ patronus is a bear, he spent his time learning how to cast this particular charm and is now more than able to cast it when he wants. His patronus takes the form of a bear as this is symbol of bravery and courage combined with a fierce and determined spirit much like Jac is. The bear is also very cautious and encourages the idea of discernment – something that Jac is particularly good at himself. Also bears prefer peace and tranquillity in their lives (despite their size). They call for harmony and balance both of which are things that Jac enjoys very much.
11. What would your character’s Boggart be – and what is the reason for this? *
Response: Jac’s boggart would be seeing himself as a child unwanted by anyone and being placed into an orphanage and forgotten about forever. He’s eternally grateful to his aunt and uncle for taking him in as a child and would be lost without them. He always feared as a child that if he did something wrong they would put him up for adoption and no longer would want to keep him. However this never came around but it is a lingering worry for him. He fears that if he were adopted he would be taken to a family that doesn’t love him and leaves him abandoned. Sometimes this leaves him feeling a little outside as he is fully aware of the fact that Mathieu and Andrea aren’t his true parents and occasionally finds himself wondering what life would feel like if he knew his real parents.
12. Should your character come across the Mirror of Erised what would they see? *
Response: The one thing that Jac has always wanted to have is a sibling, or two or three. However Mathieu and Andrea decided that they only wanted to have Jac as their son and though he was happy as an only child he always found that spending time with younger children in the city that he had quite a strong paternal side to him. He enjoyed looking after them and whenever they managed to achieve something they’d always come to tell him of whatever success – big or small they might’ve managed. He always gained a strong sense of pride from this and always wanted a younger brother or sister who he could look after and be proud of in a similar fashion.

Response: Jacques’ wand would be Alder, the wand usually works well with witches of wizards who are helpful and considerate much like Jacques aims to be with most people. Jacques has been attempting non-verbal spell work and with the aid of this wand finds his skill to be growing every time he practices these skills. Alder usually works well with witches or wizards who are good at non-verbal magic and the fact he gained this particular wand was a sure enough sign and Jacques is destined for a great future ahead of him.

Response: Dragon Heartstring – This wand core paired with Alder as its wand wood makes for a perfectly balanced wand. The wood seems to compensate for the powerful magic that can be produced by the dragon heartstring. The particular ability enhanced when pairing Alder with Dragon Heartstring is a stronger ability for non-verbal magic. Jac’s quick learning ability when paired with this wand means he is very adaptable no matter the situation he finds himself it.

Response: Solid – This particular characteristic usually means that the wand will only give its loyalty to one owner. A solid wand usually links itself to reliable and loyal witches or wizards and Jacques prides himself on being one of the most reliable people you could ever meet. He has particularly aimed to focus his magical area in healing as his future aspirations are to be a medi-wizard so that he can help people with any sort of problem they might have.

I can't find a bio for Mary on the page - would you have a certain way you'd like her to be portrayed? {So I can make the app fit it.}
We currently don’t have Mary’s bio written however there are a few vague ideas we have in place for her character.
As known Mary was a muggleborn so she has close friendship to Lily over this fact.
They both want to fight these prejudices that are in place although Mary is far more passionate about it and is far more direct and less willing to back down.
Usually there is a trio formed between Lily, Mary and Marlene and they’re often seen together around the castle.
Mary attempts to be nice to everyone up until the time they cross her.

As a result of this Doe’s mother spend a whole year in the ward, and Dorcas was born there. If it was up to her father, they would both still be there now. The only reason they’re not, is the kindness of one the employees of the hospital who helped her mother escape. After this Dorcas’ mother returned immediately back to the wizarding world worried that Dorcas’ father would try come after them when he learnt that they had disappeared.
For the first four years of Dorcas’ life, she lived with her mother in a dilapidated cottage, away from pretty much any sign of civilization. When her mother had not gotten any sign from Dorcas’ father, she began to relax a lot more. On Doe’s 5th birthday they moved back in with Doe’s grandparents and Dorcas was finally able to learn about what she was and her ancestry. Dorcas loved magic and her mother always encouraged her, not wanting her daughter to be affected by the way she herself was treated. Dorcas was told about her father on the same day she received her Hogwarts letter. Her mother had been cautious about telling her previously because she was worried Doe would start to detest magic. Dorcas’ reaction, however, was the opposite, she became even more proud of being a witch and dedicated herself to studying the ways of magic so that she could be well prepared for Hogwarts.
Dorcas’ first year at Hogwarts was the year she came of her shell and began to really speak up for herself and the ideals that she believed in. She still strived to be the best she could be in all her subjects and because of that she often found herself sitting by herself studying whilst all her friends were off somewhere else in the castle having fun. It was towards the end of her second year Dorcas realised there was to life than her grades and from then on she made real bonds with people. Although she still disapproves of some of James schemes, she will join in on some of the mischief now and again. Of course Dorcas’ favourite place in the castle has not changed, if she’s not studying in her dorm, or hanging out with her friends. Doe can be found in a quiet corner of the library. Doe is a happy go lucky kind of girl, and always tries to see the best in people.

Response: I can’t choose one. Most of the characters in Harry Potter are fantastic, they all have different brilliant qualities about them. And I can identify with bits of most of the characters.

Response: I go to university in London which means I can attend film premieres and meet famous people.

Response: Dorcas Meadowes
2. When is your character’s blood status? Pureblood, Halfblood or Muggleborn.
Response: Halfblood
3. What House is your character in and how do they feel about this? *
Response: Gryffindor. Dorcas is mostly happy about the house that the sorting hat choose, although part of her is a little disheartened that she didn’t get sorted into Ravenclaw, as she had always been proud of her intelligence. Over the past couple of years however she has come to realize exactly why she wasn’t placed in Ravenclaw. Whilst Doe can honestly say that she is fairly smart and intelligent, unlike most of the Ravenclaws she has come to know, she doesn’t believe that been intelligent is the most important part of a personality. There are many things that Dorcas respects more than intelligence, and because of this she knows Gryffindor is the place for her, even if she does have to deal with James Potter and his mischief every day.
4. Describe to us your character’s relationship with their family? *
Response:
Dorcas is very close to her Mother and feels very protective of her due to what her father did to her. Although the two may not agree on everything she knows that her mother is doing the best she can and in the end is only looking out for her. Dorcas doesn’t really tell her mother about her worries or feelings because she refuses want to burden her with them. Dorcas does really tell anybody actually, she doesn’t think her worries are very important and for that reason chooses to keep them to herself on most occasions. Dorcas is an only child and whilst she would like a sibling she understand her mother’s reasons for not wanting another child.
6. Describe to us your character’s personality. *
Response: Doe is fiercely loyal and protective. If you hurt one of her friends she will not forgive you lightly, you will have to earn back her trust. This trait can get Dorcas into a lot of trouble as she often gets involved in situations that people don’t want her too. Dorcas puts her friends and family before herself, in fact, she rarely spends anytime worrying about herself and her desires. Her compassion shows no boundaries, and even if you have never talked to her before she will help you as best she can with any problem you have. Doe is driven and stubborn once she has set her mind on a path she with never venture away from it, unless given very good advice to choose another direction. Even then you would have to come up with quite the speech to persuade her. Intelligent as she is, Doe can also be very naïve and this often lands her in tricky situations. It doesn’t help that she will speak her own mind whether or not you like what she’s telling you.
7. Describe your character’s strengths. *
Response: Loyalty, honour and intelligence are Dorcas’ three main strengths, and the things she prides herself upon most. Although her friends would most likely say that her caring attitude and loving heart would be her main strength.
8. Describe your character’s weaknesses. *
Response: Stubborn, nosey and insensitive are the negative words you often hear associated with Doe, although her friends knows she always has their best interests at heart, those less close to her find her opinions and advice to be rude and unnecessary.
9. Where does your character’s alliance fall? – The Order, Death Eaters or Other (if other please specify).
Response: The Order. 100 %. Dorcas hates the ideas that the Death Eaters put forward, and often risks her safety running sort of protests against them. Although she would never be able to actually protest against them, she tries to get people to stay away from them and often creates banners, that can be found all around Hogwarts, spelling out why they are not somebody you want to be around
10. What would your character’s patronus be? - remember Death Eaters cannot cast a Patronus. *
Response: Dorcas patronus would be a Meerkat. Although she is currently unable to conjure one. Like a Meerkat, Dorcas is very protective of the people she cares about, she is extremely curious and often gets in trouble for looking in places she shouldn’t. Doe prefers to have a big group of friends around her, although she may only entrust her secrets to a couple of them. Although Meerkats may look cute and cuddly they have very sharp claws for fighting. This represents a huge part of Doe’s personality. Whilst she is very compassionate and caring, she will stand up for what she believes in, whatever it takes.
11. What would your character’s Boggart be – and what is the reason for this? *
Response: Her father. Her boggart would be a little weird as Dorcas has never actually seen a picture of her father, she does however imagine him to be a muscly man with a black beard and a horrible look in his eyes. Her boggart would be the image she has created of her father rather than what he actually looks like. Dorcas, although she does not like to admit it is scared of what her father might do to her and her mother if he ever finds them.
12. Should your character come across the Mirror of Erised what would they see? *
Response: Dorcas would see herself been given an award for being one of the greatest animal carers. Her secret desire is to learn more about all the animals in the wizarding world so that she can own a sort of farm with many different creatures to look after. She doesn’t know quite how to approaching this however, so she would happily settle for simply teaching Care of Magical Creatures.
13. What wand wood will your character have and why? (You can find a list here). *
Response: Applewood, just as the description says finds itself most comfortable with good natured witches or wizards. With Dorcas constantly fighting for good and light it is not surprise then that four years ago she instantly connected with this wand. Dorcas finds that her wand actually struggles to cast spells whenever she is doing something for selfish or revengeful reasons.
14. What wand core will your character have and why? (You can find a list here)*
Response: Phoenix Feather. A rare core for a rare witch. As mentioned before Dorcas’ wand seems to act of its own will at times. Whilst Dorcas sometimes finds this very irritating, she is coming to find that her wand is guiding her. The spells that turn the wands temperamental are usually spells used for non-pure reasons. Dorcas wands seems to be linked more with her conscious than her feelings.
15. What characteristics will your character’s wand have and why? (You can find a list here)*
Response: Hard, first year Dorcas started out hating her wand because it could be so stubborn to control. Growing up, along with learning important life lessons, Dorcas began to learn that her wand had it’s own personality, and she then started to treat it as if it was alive. Because deep down she really believes it is alive.
16. Are there any ships in particular you would like? (We cannot guarantee this)
Response: Not really. I’m always partial to Remus/Doe but the rp Remus would have to be compatible so it all depends on chemistry really.
