I SEE A BAD MOON RISING
It’s been a long time coming, Pack Erna have been eagerly awaiting this day for what seems to be the longest of times. With plans coming together and the alphas moving in, Abaven seem wary but are otherwise clueless as to what is in store for them.
I SEE TROUBLE ON THE WAY
So basically we’re just gonna have a thread between the mains and then everyone else can converse between themselves, I just wanted to use this graphic. Cool beans? Cool beans.
TIME HAS COME AS WE ALL GO DOWN
Name: Rabbit Ricci
Faceclaim: Logan Lerman
Age: Twenty-Two
Pack & Status: Pack Abaven, Omega
Gender/Pronouns: Male, he/him
BUT FOR THE FALL…
For the bulk of Rabbit’s life things were very easy. When he was a child his mother and father were both very well off. They didn’t struggle for anything and Rabbit very rarely wanted something he couldn’t have. That being said, he was not a spoiled brat but was raised in a house were he did work for things he didn’t need but wanted. Of course as a child that was just cleaning his room or helping his mother or father with some chores. The worst thing that happened to him, besides the fever was when he was thirteen. His mother sat him down and explained that she was no longer happy being bonded to his father. They stopped loving each other at some point and started to just simply like each other. Being bonded just wasn’t working. So they had to go through the very painful process of unbonding. Watching both his parents go threw that much pain was heart breaking but in the end it was better. They separated and had shared custody of Rabbit, they were always civil with each other and things looked up very quickly after the unbonding was said and done. His life went on easy.
Rabbit had a good group of friends, got through high-school, and grew up in a generally Omega positive bubble of people. While he understood he was lucky, he never really knew anything else until the fever hit. Rabbit’s mother was actually one of the first to die of it and his father wasn’t far behind her. When life went to shit, Rabbit very barely kept his head above water. The grief of losing his family and friends made him feel like he was dying too, even when he was perfectly healthy. It took him a long, long time to crawl back out of that hole but he managed it. Mostly because of finding Abaven and surrounding himself with people who understood exactly what he was going through. They supported each other and Rabbit is just now feeling like he can be himself again. Like the storm is passing and some peace is settling back into his life. Now and then a hard day does come up but for the most part he is happy.
DO YOU DARE TO LOOK HIM IN THE EYE?
When anything even remotely sad happened to Rabbit, his response was always to make it funny, if he could. Humour always came easy to him and acted as a shield most of the time. For a while now he hasn’t found the jokes flowing that easily. They seem blocked up and sort of forced but recently they are coming back. His snark is starting to fill back in with each passing day and Rabbit can’t help but be happy about it.
Since he had to watch his parents go through an unbonding, Rabbit is very not for bonding. He is always just a little worried that someone is going to force it on him during sex or in a relationship. He’s had a few before the fever that ended because he refused to bond. It’s a frightening concept for him. Being so reliant and twisted up with another person. He wont be bonding with just anyone, anytime soon. He’s just a little too messed up about it.
Its sort of ironic given his name, but Rabbit loves dogs. Big dogs. Dogs that look like they’d eat rabbits. He will do anything to help a dog. When he was growing up they had four big dogs around the house and not having any, right now, is sort of  killing him. He loves dogs, dogs love him.
TIME HAS COME AS WE ALL GO DOWN
Name: Ryder King
Faceclaim: Chris Wood
Age: Thirty
Pack & Status: Pack Erna, Alpha
Gender/Pronouns: Male, he/him
BUT FOR THE FALL…
There were not many people that really understood Ryder, a twin, he didn’t compare to his sister who was seemingly superior in every way. While he was smart, she was smarter, he was strong, she was stronger and even in their alpha roles, she seemed to possess the more admirable behaviour that attracted her parents doting affection, while Ryder received the majority of their disappointment. It wasn’t a particularly hard life, he should have been thankful really, but a fragile mind already in his younger years, the neglect he felt by comparison to his sibling only urged his need to separate from the so-called pack. If it had not been for the gentle nature of his twin, Ryder would have bailed on them way before the fever hit, but no, the siblings were almost inseparable and didn’t see the point in ever being apart.
But all good things come to an end and while his sister was willing to become a controlling alpha of their pack, next in line to their parents who were getting too old to deal with the shenanigans, Ryder had less interest and a bigger desire to flee what they knew. His sister argued against his wishes, but ultimately it was his parents that finalized his decision. Upon hearing of their sons wishes to leave, they unleashed years of pent up frustration with him, informing him of their disappointment, their dislike for the twin that could never compare to his sister. While it hurt, this was not unknown to Ryder and he didn’t hesitate to abandon all that he knew shortly after that. He and his sister did his best to keep in touch, though it was strained as she soon took over the family pack and became more so responsible than they were used to, while Ryder travelled alone and explored the world to the best of his ability.
When the Hot Flash hit, Ryder only thought of his sister and head back to their home town in hopes of finding her fit and healthy, though his parents were one of the first to fall ill, his sister remained healthy. Grateful that he at least had her, Ryder stuck around, ensuring that she had his help at every turn, though this was something the pack were hardly impressed with, so much so that they rejected his sister for bringing back someone who had, at first, rejected them. The two fled Pennsylvania, but without resources and a safe place, Ryder’s twin got sick and there was little he could do to stop her from spiralling. Watching his sister slowly die had been horrific, but it hardened Ryder, so much so that he lost all sense of his personality. Over time, he developed skills, skills that a local pack were quick to take interest in, giving him a home and a new family, one that he’s never really felt part of, but one he’s loyal to nonetheless.
DO YOU DARE TO LOOK HIM IN THE EYE?
Despite being among the crazies and seeming relatively normal by comparison, Ryder has always had a strange mind. He is quiet and for the most part, collective, but there are certain triggers that sets him off, and not a whole lot can bring him back from his rage fits when they do happen. His violence during these times knows no bounds, and there has been one or two fights that have resulted in strange tactics on Ryder’s part, knowing for biting off the ear of one particular guy who got on his wrong side, he is not a person that most people want to piss off.Â
Ryder has an annoying habit of wanting to get on everyone’s nerves, he doesn’t talk all that much but when he does, it’s guaranteed to be sarcastic. Despite knowing each member of his new pack, there is very rarely anyone he addresses by their own name, finding people to get irritated with him repeatedly calling them by the wrong name, it’s one of Ryder’s little pleasures that he sticks to regardless of who he speaks to.Â
He has never really been the alpha type, despite being raised that way and being around his sister pretty often, those kind of traits just never seemed to be passed onto him. That’s not to say that Ryder is not dominant, he is, but he struggles to express his dominance a lot of the time when he’s not fighting.

can the para sample be set before the fever outbreak or should it be set during the events of the rp?
Your para sample can take place at any time in your characters life. Before or after the fever, it really doesn’t matter. We just want to see that you can write a solid paragraph and get a little bit of a taste for your character. So timing doesn’t really matter.Â
Thanks for the question!
Hey Members + Tags,
I am pretty excited for the main plot line to start kicking off. Things are going to be getting intense soon. We are new, open and active! We’d love to see more people swing by and check us out. I’ll be on for another hour or two so if you have any questions or apps to give us, pop by!
This character is currently in a coma in the clinic with Pack Abaven, he will be waking up shortly but anyone who’s curious about him, feel free to message me and we can discuss something for when that happens.
Cullen Roscoe
TIME HAS COME AS WE ALL GO DOWN
Name: Cullen Roscoe
Faceclaim: Bill Skarsgard
Age: Twenty-five
Pack & Status: Pack Abaven, omega
Gender/Pronouns: Non-binary, he/him, they/them
BUT FOR THE FALL…
Cullen by no means had a troubled childhood, growing up in Russia, things were a little different however to his current surroundings. His mother and father had an understanding, but by no means did they share a relationship, they were a fling, or what was meant to be a fling and then she fell pregnant, out of lack of choice, the two were forced to mate or otherwise both would be cast out from their surprisingly highly respected families. Deciding to stay together, despite the lack of emotional connection, his household was a complicated one. There was no love, not between mother and father, not between parents and children, it was almost as if their dynamic was professional. The Roscoe children were given what they needed in order to survive but it was very rare that anything warmer was offered, maybe that was why both him and his siblings grew up the way they did, so disconnected from their feelings, unable to find attachments to other.
The only omega among a beta and two alphas, Cullen always worked extra hard in his younger years to win over his parents affection, but it never came and that was more difficult for him to understand than his brothers. He grew out of it eventually, however, and he soon came to the realisation that simply being used by alphas was his only possible chance at getting anywhere in life, there was no hope at a relationship in Cullen’s world. He left home to travel at twenty-one and hoping to get as far away from his parents as he could, he decided to head to America, the only place he could afford and an extremely cliché runaway spot. Upon arrival though, he realised that running away to a place so different from his own was not going to be easy. He had come from riches and while an omega with no love, his mother had ensured he had everything, out of mere smugness of appearance.
He had to fight for everything, literally everything and an omega alone in such a large city, he was taken advantage of more often than not, which resulted in many, many fights. Cullen knew how to protect himself but there were times when things went too far and one of those instances resulted in his admittance to hospital where he was placed in a medical induced coma to grant his body a chance to repair it. The male was vaguely aware of the fever that was on the rise before he lost all sight of the world. Somehow, in the midst of the crazy and panic, Cullen was moved to the safe haven that was the Omega clinic, protected by the pack members of Pack Abaven who are only hoping the boy will wake up soon, before they decide to let him go completely.
DO YOU DARE TO LOOK HIM IN THE EYE?
The fight that got him hospitalized was a result of his inability to care for others, there was someone who was attempting to be a constant, who cared for him, or rather, wanted to and Cullen refused to let them in, in the end, things just spiralled out of control and it had been Cullen to throw the first punch. The guy had tried to restrain him, but it made things worse, apparently even nice guys have a snapping point.
His grandparents, for lack of a better word, were insane. They were high maintenance and money and appearance were everything. They’d been aware of the relationship that sparked between his mother and father and had hoped the two would at least get along enough for an arranged marriage, when she fell pregnant it was mere luck and they threatened their children to stay together or lose everything. As Cullen and his brothers got older, they didn’t get any better, often greeting them with a smack over the head and an objection to how they looked or what they were doing. Cullen thought they were crazy bastards then and he still does now, barely caring for what happened to them when the Hot Flash broke out, or any of his family for that matter.
There were many things the Roscoe boys were taught, they were taught how to act appropriately, how to dress, how to manage themselves, and above all, they were taught how to be just as clever as one another. They are all smart, Cullen especially, always wanting to work that bit harder to diminish his status, not that it ever worked. It was his idea to learn to fight though and when he took up an array of martial arts, his parents had no objections, those fighting skills have definitely come in handy now.
Just a quick note to make sure everybody has their event threads rounded off by the end of the evening as the event is officially over. Also, we have had a bit of a change on the main (because Nadia has to change things every two minutes) so please go check it out and let me know what you think !!Â

TIME HAS COME AS WE ALL GO DOWN
Name: Kit Samuel
Faceclaim: Matthew Daddario
Age: Twenty-eight
Pack & Status: Pack Abaven, Alpha
Gender/Pronouns: Male, he/him
BUT FOR THE FALL...
Tall, handsome, blonde haired-blue eyed gentle soul who would help anybody even when they didn’t ask for it – life before the fever hit was easy for people like Kit. Or at least, that’s what everybody presumed. He was a good kid, always caring for other people, always wanting to help, but it mostly stemmed from his lack of ability to look out for his mother that drove him to be this way. His father was an alpha, his mother was an omega and he treated his mark on her as if it was something she had no right to. He abused her constantly and each time the two had a falling out, his father was quick to remind his mother that without him, she’d be nothing with no exact purpose in the world. He hated his dad and by the time the fever hit and his father fell down ill, he was glad – not that he’d ever admit that to anybody, it made him feel incredibly guilty, but good riddance.
But the devastation didn’t end there, one by one, Kit lost his entire family and having travelled away from his family home with his mother in hopes of finding some sort of refuge before she fell ill, he was away from any possible surviving friends. Alone and terrified, Kit didn’t have much choice, as fate would have it, however, as he was heading back home, he picked something up on the radio – a pack not so far away willing to take anybody in that had nowhere else to go. It was his first introduction to Abaven, his first introduction to his new family and his reunion with his high school sweetheart. It was bittersweet, but he has always been grateful to Damon for giving him the chance to survive and for bringing Danny back into his life.
DO YOU DARE TO LOOK HIM IN THE EYE?
Danny Labelle was his next door neighbour and childhood best friend, it quickly developed into something more as they got older. When the hot flash hit and people started dying, however, he lost all hope of seeing her again, especially when he and his mother decided to travel across the country to find refuge. He didn’t get to say goodbye and was heartbroken after realising he may never see her again. When his mother passed and he was reunited with Danny through the Abaven pack, it felt as if fate had drove them back together, he never marked her though, refusing to build a relationship built around the focus of marking.
Despite always doing his best to be nice, there is an underlying issue in his personality, he blames his dad for what seems to be genetic anger, the littlest thing seems to set him off and Kit is always fighting to make sure it doesn’t surface, especially not around his pack, and most importantly not around Danny, but it’s more than likely only a matter of time before something in him snaps.
Kit has always loved cars and the great thing about the apocalypse is all the cars that were left behind, he managed to head out of Atlanta after settling into Abaven and he heads out pretty often, always returning with a more expensive car that he happened to come across.

TIME HAS COME AS WE ALL GO DOWN
Name: Fell Dawnson
Faceclaim: Landen Liboiron
Age: Twenty-two
Pack & Status: Pack Abaven, Alpha
Gender/Pronouns: Male, He/Him
BUT FOR THE FALL…
As a child Fell was mostly raised by his mother Rose. She was a big very big advocate for Omega rights and did a lot of traveling to promo her ideals. On one stop in Atlanta Rose meet a man named Damon Harris. He was a professor and they meet at an Omega rights rally. The two of them really hit it off and before either of them knew what happened she was pregnant. Damon of course offered to mate her, help her with everything but Rose refused to mate just because of a child. She was fiercely independent and told him no. As it turned out the two got a long but she was a free spirit always ready to move. Damon was not so much. Growing up, Fell saw father as often as possible. Which was to terribly much. Not that Rose and Damon didn’t get along. They did. There was never any tension or resentment its just that Fell and Rose where always moving. They lived in an RV for most of Fell’s life and he really did love it. He called Damon twice a week most weeks as a child. Flew into visit him now and then but never really got to bond with his dad the way most sons did.
When he turned eighteen, Fell started to make a real effort to see his dad more often. He’d fly into Atlanta and sit in on his dads classes. In all honestly he was very proud to have a dad doing the work that Damon did. Even if they weren’t close he knew enough to know that he was doing good work. He was on his way into Atlanta when things went to shit. In fact he never actually made it out of the airport. He got stuck there and for the past few months has just sort of been living there looking for other people. So far nothing. Nothing until he heard a radio call drawing him into the centre of town and towards the clinic. Fell packed up all the food he could find, put in the first car he got to work and headed off to the clinic to find some people. He is despite to find people.
DO YOU DARE TO LOOK HIM IN THE EYE?
When he was little, around ten years old, Rose explained to him why they were always moving and what she was fighting for. Not only that but that his dad was doing the same. Fell was one of very few kids raised unafraid of what his dynamic might turn out to be. Of course he hoped for Alpha but was not afraid of being an Omega or a Beta. Not at all. He’d have his family support no matter what and that meant the world to him.
Fell is a goof ball. He has a very hard time taking things seriously and has to be told to just calm down. He’s very relaxed, and maybe to easy going for his own good. But with that said when things do get serious, Fell can have a bit of a temper. While its cooled easily, it also flares up very easily. Lastly, Fell is a runner. When things get heavy, Fell is used to just leaving the situation. Permanency is not something he’s used to and he doesn’t really want to get used to it. He is a wonderer.Â
Even though Damon wasn’t around so much growing up, Fell by no means doesn’t like him or has any resentment. He knows Damon saw him when he could and vice versa. Besides that life with his mom was perfect. He wouldn’t change it for a thing… Well maybe he would have Damon there but it didn’t suffer because he wasn’t. If anything Fell just hopes that they can have more now. He realizes it wont make up for what they’ve missed but its better than nothing.

BUT FOR THE FALL...
Being born into a large family can give anyone a complex. But being born into a large family made up of mostly alphas? It taught Minnie how to fight, if anything. It wasn’t as if they weren’t loving. In fact, they were fully supportive of each other, her included. But one thing that had always stood out about Minnie⸺ she couldn’t stand not being the best at something. And in her family, she wasn’t even close to the top. That’s what prompted her to leave her home in Germany at the age of eighteen and move to America. And after she did that? Well, things got considerably better. No, she would never be at the top like she wanted. But once she found her niche in a pack, it was easy to sink her teeth into nearly whatever she wanted. That was until, well, the fever hit. Once it happened, she found herself wandering until she found another pack. If anything, she was a fighter. And, she’d be damned if she let any more control slip from her life.
DO YOU DARE TO LOOK HIM IN THE EYE?
Despite what some might think about her, Minnie is a very caring person. Before everything went to shit, she was a midwife, and a damn good one at that. This gives her decent medical experience, a useful skill to have now. She likes to care for people. Even if she’s not great at showing it.
Both before and after the outbreak, Minnie was known as a quiet person. Always one to mind her own business, and look the other way if she can. Does it promote the best morals? No. But it keeps her (mostly) out of trouble.
On a less serious note, though. The beta has a serious sweet tooth, and has been known to keep a bag full of candy, or gum on her person. Maybe it’s not a problem, but it sure can be if she runs out.
