The Blue Lagoon is closed, but the adventure continues. We found a Secret Lagoon - @secretlagoon - in the South of Iceland. -8 degrees air temperature. 40 degrees water temperature. What a place. Driving in Iceland in winter is no joke! You need a good 4 wheel drive car with good winter tyres. I'm great full to @lagooncarrental for hooking me up with this beast. This ice has been locked up in the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier for 10,000 years. It's now breaking up and flowing out to see. A pretty amazing sight but also something to worry and think about. UNBELIEVABLE! We were met by @lagooncarrental outside Keflavic airport, and there they were waiting for our arrival - the northern lights in all their glory. We only had a few minutes to grab a few shots before collecting our awesome 4*4 hire car but it was such an amazing way to start this adventure. And it was -13.
