Rotten Freshness

Our home. Our spaceship. Our small comfort on this road of uncertainty. Gone. Last night life was easy, in the streets or otherwise. Impossible to tear down our walls of optimism. Today things change. Falling out of orbit. Crashing through our atmosphere. Falling. Struggling to stay afloat, I stop. Sink deeper. Slip beneath the surface. Find satisfaction in the darkness the Universe so playfully threw at me. Naked. Stripped down to the harsh reality underneath. Bare elements. Raw and exposed. Chemical reactions affecting the experiment. No more dependent factors. Only independent disasters. Dive into this new world. The water will soon take over anyway.
