Lexy: “Well thank you very much Miss Lapis. I’ll try to be good company.” she handed over some bags for the other to take. she was normally nervous around new people, but found it easy to talk to Lapis “I was going to the market right up the street. They usually have good deals going on and money has been kinda tight. Not many people want to hire a maid these days and I’m a bit too shy to find other work.”
“Are you unemployed? And what’s a maid?“ Lapis held the bags tight and walked with the maid girl to the next store. She was glad that she wasn’t yelled at yet or told to go away so Lapis relaxed a little bit. This must be how she makes friends. Lapis could get used to making friends like this.
Lexy: “Well its not meant for important people at least to me. I mainly use it to be formal and with nice people like you. I’ll stick with Lapis if it makes you more comfortable.”
“Yea it would. Thanks for listening to me. I got some friends who give out some pretty obnoxious nicknames. So how much further? I’m not trying to rush it but I am curious how far you walked.“
Lexy: "Well I hope they aren't mean to you seeing how nice you are." she then looked to see where they were at "I believe we've got another five minutes before we reach the apartments I live in."
