12.3.19 Okay so an update and a massive thank you, I feel a bit better and my laptop is fixed again, and I need to say thank you to everyone who left such amazing messages on that last post I made when I was really upset. Thank you. It really lifted me up enough to calm down and take a kinder look at my situation but also try for a stronger outlook. I spent all Friday and Saturday fixing my laptop and then on Sunday my mum took my to cheddar gorge. Might post a photo. Thank you all, hoping for a better stronger week, and self care evenings. Also how amazing is this place! I think I’ve found the best study space in Bristol!
It’s midtermmmmm season. Also known as I’d rather be doing anything else season. Good luck!

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now.
this motivates me so much (via studyblr)
✨It took work, but what things worth having ever didn’t?✨ • Trying to keep myself motivated when the past few days have felt like punishment to push myself to sit and write. Do you get this way with projects? I’m SO EXCITED for this book, this world and characters. But it’s like I’ve hit that wall in a diet or exercise routine. This happens with every book I’ve written. I begin to see the end and I’m like, “whoa! Maybe we can take a break now?! For like, 5 weeks.” No, Jacqueline, you can’t! You can go for a walk, hop over to the store and get yourself a box of Valentine’s chocolates, have a few FaceTimes with friends, but you still gotta write this thing! Can you tell by me talking in third person that I might be spending too much time alone🤪? It’s fine. I’ll be fine. This was the distraction I needed for today. K, I swear I’m back in front of my computer NOT online shopping. #AmDefinitelyWriting #TheMousaiSeries (at Brooklyn, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/BtTQJuwgW1-/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=sgdroudtd3ov
