Matt was glad to take care of her wanting to make sure she was fed and not in as much pain. He moved to grab her more pain pills once she was settled in with her food. “How is it?” He asked as he grabbed the Advil bottle from the shelf on top of the wooden cabinet he had for all of his miscellaneous things. He then grabbed water and passed both to her, “This should help.” He said as he sat back down on the couch beside her. His figure blocking out some of the bright light. “Can I ask you something?” He said before taking a breath. “I noticed we have similar senses. You can hear and smell just as much as I can. Though my heightened senses are all of them yours are only a few. I wonder why that is? Did we get infected by the same chemicals? And I wonder why it affected us so differently?” He knew he was putting off the subject of Elektra but he needed to know this first. It had been bothering him for as long as he’d known her.
“Bugging me?” Val scoffed. She turned her head towards him, cupping his face in her cold hand. “Baby, we’ve waited long enough. I-I think I’m ready.” She cooed. She was a bit nervous at the thought, she and Matt had not ever had sex before. They only went as far as making out and maybe tonight was a good night to overstep that safe zone. Val pressed her lips to Matt’s slow and easy, her bottom lip locking in between his top and bottom lips. Her eyes fluttered shut once more, nose pressed gently against his. His lips were as soft as rose petals, tasted of Mexican beer and quesadillas from dinner. She smiled somewhat ni to the kiss. She waited for Matt to lead a bit.

Matt smiled relaxing with her, “I did, I particularly thought you being jealous and not liking Marci so much - amusing.” He grinned wider and moved to wrap his arms around her and kiss her head. “I did warn you though.. Karen hated her at first. She’s not horrible, she did help me on the Wilson Fisk case but I think Foggy can do better.” He shrugged. He then noticed how low the back of her dress was and he found himself running his fingers across her back gently, moving to kiss her shoulder.
“Did you wear this for me?” He asked, partially curious and the other teasing.
Valivion groaned. “That waitress was eyeing you, babe. I’m instincts took over a little. And plus the president of the hospital is like that and I kiss at her ass all the time to ensure I can pay rent. Pretty easy, you ask her where she got her pumps and she will rant about Louis Vitton or Gucci. From there you just nod and say yes.” She stated as a matter of fact with a hint of amuse. She felt Matt’s warm hand splayed against the upper midsection of her exposed back. It felt nice for once. Did you wear this for me? Matt inquired with curiosity. “No, I wore it for the busboy,” Val said dripping with sarcasm and playfulness. “I thought you would like it. It’s red. It’s an A-line dress that is snug at the waist, low cut on the back with off the shoulder sleeves. The dress goes down to my knees. I thought you would appreciate the low back.” She murmured as she let Matt kiss her shoulders. She ran and hand through his hair with a smile on her face, her heart fluttering a little. “I even put on a little makeup today. I turned some heads while I was in the restaurant. None of which I was looking at because I was too busy admiring your pretty face, Matt.”
Matt laughed “Hun, no need to explain, I know.” He smiled. Val always seemed to babble but it was cute. He could feel how her dress felt, how it was cut. “I know exactly what you’re wearing.” He said moving to kiss her neck, wrapping his arms securely around her. “I’m glad you chose me over the busboy.” He teased jokingly. He closed his eyes slightly as she ran her hand in his hair.
Val hummed softly in content at the soft pecks to her shoulder that led up to her neck now. The feeling of his warm arms engulfing her made her feel like she was in paradise. She could smell his body wash lingering on his skin through the detergent in his button up shirt starting to mix with her perfume, the smell of her body wash and shampoo she used. The soft magenta glow of the neon sign outside of Matthew’s apartment shed a subtle light onto the two. Her brown contacted eyes fluttered shut as Matt continued to kiss her, she brushed her hair out of the way for Matt and back to caressing his hair, her other hand making its way over to the arms that were wrapped closely around her; It felt like heaven. “Mm, Matt...” She giggled.

Day 2/100
The view from my window is getting greener because of the lockdown and I’m not complaining! My mom gave me these little flowers when I woke up this morning. Studying is harder when you’re quarantining with your family but these moments make up for it.

Valivion put her hand on Matt’s to reassure him. She could deal with people like Marci. The president of her hospital was the same way. She hated her but showed no sign of it as she wanted to keep her job and continue to feed and house herself. “Yeah, through work, I was having legal problems, so I made a walk-in appointment, and Matt happened to be the one to work with me on it. Right, baby?” She explained, asking almost in a coo at the last part. Her fingers rubbed tiny shapes onto the back of his hand. She turned her head towards Foggy when he cleared his throat, blonde hair swaying in a delayed fashion with her head. The sound was penetrating in her ears for a second due to a minor ringing she was hearing. An animal outside was making an effort to pry into her mind and talk. Not tonight. “I think I may have their tamales. They sound good.” She sipped her beer, her fingers becoming even colder than normal from the bottle and a bit wet due to the condensation of the bottle. Valivion felt her lightly freckled cheeks heat up a tad when she felt Matt’s hand slide down to her thigh. “Is it hot in here or is it just me?” She asked a bit flustered. She did relax at his touch.
Matt smiled with a nod, “Yup. I went to the hospital to speak with Claire, came back later and Valarie was at my office.” He said before kissing her temple. Once they all had ordered Matt noticed Val’s temperature rise just from his hand on her leg. He wasn’t doing anything sexual just resting his hand there and she already was hot and bothered. This amused him though, and luckily she did relax some. Foggy frowned and shrugged, “I feel fine.” Matt chuckled before removing his hand as to not further embarrass Val or make her feel bad. Soon the night turned into them talking, laughing sharing stories and food. Matt already had two beers and he had to stop Foggy from ordering shots, “No, we’re not doing that. Val has to drive and I’m sure so does Marci.” He noted. Plus he wanted a romantic night with Val, not a drink fest.
Valivion finished up her single bottle of beer and her tamales she had ordered with a veggie substitute for the filling inside. She had switched to water since she didn’t want her body to go all whacky on her due to her alcohol intakes impact on her heart. She smiled at the kiss to her temple that had received from the lawyer beside her. “Hmmm is it really me who has to drive?” Val joked lightheartedly. She drank from her tall glass as she watched amused as Matt had to stop Foggy from buying shots.
Matt laughed, “Well do you really want a blind drunk man driving you home?” He joked with another kiss and finished up his food and drinks. “Alright guys, I think it’s time we call it a night. We need to get back to work in the morning.” He gave Foggy a look that said ‘You better be at work tomorrow’ Foggy rolled his eyes. “Don’t give me that look Murdock, you’re the one always taking time off.” Matt sighed, not wanting Marci to know his identity “Okay, Fog, Okay..” He surrendered and then they paid and headed back to Matt’s apartment. He started to kick off his shoes as he walked into the hallway of the apartment. “Did you have a good time?” He asked.
Val smiled. “Well it was lovely to meet you, Marci. You and Foggy take care now.” She stood up and left with Matt, taking his hand in hers as her heels clicked against the hardwood floor of the restaurant. She and Matt made their way back to his cozy little apartment. She slipped off her heels at the door, feeling two and a half inches less taller. She was her short self again. The off-the-clock doc went to Matt’s leather couch and plopped herself down onto it. She sighed happy with how the night was going. It was so nice! “I did, thanks to you.” Valivion replied, she grabbed in her purse real quick to reapply her red lip. “What about yourself? I’m hoping you had fun too.” She added. Her head turned to Matt as she watched him get comfortable. She sat with her legs crossed properly, leaning her back against the sofa’s cushion.
