“Speedy?” Terry stifled a laugh. “Sounds like you oughta be working with The Flash, not carrying a bow. You definitely win at worst inherited name.” The mirth left his expression and turned to shock when Thea offered him a ride, however. “If your brother gave you that bike, too, then I think you should forgive him for ‘Speedy’, because this thing soars!” Terry ran a gloved hand over the chrome and fiberglass of the machine and whistled appreciatively before climbing astride it. “This day’s looking up already.” he told Thea as he waited for her to take her place on the motorcycle.
Thea let out a groan. “Believe me, I know, told the guys at Star Labs I was seriously considering a move to Central City to join up with ‘Yeam Flash’ but I’m pretty sure they require at least a bachelors in organic chemistry or something there; and the only thing i have is a high school degree and experience running a club.’ She shrugged before offering Terry a grin as she slide onto the bike and passed him a helmet. “My brother does, on occasion, rock...but if you meet him, don’t tell him that. Last thing he needs is an ego boost.”
