recently diagnosed with ehlers-danlos syndrome and pots, I've been dealing with chronic pain and joint issues since I was a kid

doing a lot better with my ed, but the audhd, depression, anxiety, and ptsd aren't going anywhere. and recovery is not a linear process so yeah, consider this a warning for potential triggers

so the emergency vet says his teeth need to come out ASAP because they're abscessed and infected to a point of spreading up his face and deeper into his head. obviously we cannot afford this on our own, so we're taking donations (anything helps) to try and get him his tooth extractions so he can finally be healthy and free of pain. please consider donating or sharing if you can. there's a gofundme linked below and our kofi is here as well. anything helps! thanks!

Hi, our names are Hades and Will. This is our cat Sproingus. Sproingus is 11 years old, and has been Wills baby since childhood, we both love Sproingus with all our hearts. Losing him would be more than devastating.

Last night, August 3rd 2025, Sproingus’s face swelled up, so we took him to the emergency vet. They told us that Sproingus has a pocket of infection that can only be cured by extracting his teeth. Antibiotics at this stage cannot help, treatment requires an extraction. Considering how close this infection is to his brain, getting him treatment as soon as possible is absolutely necessary. It could very easily spread to his brain and other organs, which would be fatal. Not only that, but he is refusing to eat (likely because of the pain). This is an extremely urgent situation.

The emergency vet does not do dental work, so we will have to take Sproingus to his regular vet. There are no vets near us who do payment plans and I found no loans for this type of thing when I attempted to look. Last time we visited his regular vet, they quoted us for a full extraction at approximately $2000, so I have made that the goal. I will call Sproingus’s vet as soon as possible and get another quote.

We (Sproingus’s dads) are both disabled and unemployed. It would be impossible to afford treatment on our own, let alone urgently. Currently, neither of us have more than $20 in our bank accounts. Please help us get Sproingus the lifesaving treatment that he needs.
