SERIOUS POST, PLEASE READ IT

First of all, I want you to know that I am not American, and that I’ve never been to the USA.

Okay…

These school shootings scare the shit out of me. I am so sorry for the people who experienced the terror, for those who died, and for their family and friends.

Considering that I am a student as well, I’m really concerned about the whole situation: my peers are dying out there, and people all over the world are becoming more and more desensitized, and this is NOT normal!

Students all over the USA, just stop going to school until your president realizes that Gun Control is important. If millions of students stopped going to school, your government might finally understand that the situation is terrible.

I think we all know that people under 21 y.o. should not be allowed to buy a weapon, and second, those who purchase guns or knives should undergo annual training and psychiatric evaluation.

Having said that, please, please USA government, stop this tragedy, please. Your country is beautiful and people are important, don’t let them die just because someone wants a stupid gun.

1) no, I didn't mean "ditch school forever!", a week would be enough (I think). If millions of students ditched, people would notice, don't you think?

2) maybe students should undergo psychiatric evaluation too?

3) why on god's earth aren't guns in secure lockers? Isn't it, like, illegal to have guns on the bedside table??
