They appear seemingly out of nowhere, a bit too eager to entice anyone they see. Impulse control was still something they hadn't quite perfected. Still, instead of pouncing on them like they had King, they sit near the person, hands in lap, and feet kicking back and forth with slight excitement.

The Collector could sense tension in the air. Or...something, in the air. It was bleak. The type of environment they could feel when Belos was running rampant. Though they were incredibly powerful, it did not stop the child from feeling a slight unease.

"Where are you? I know you're there!" They call out, eyes shifting left and right and all around to locate the intruder.

They didn't get much of a buffer before they had turned the Isles back to normal. Not a lot of time to repair every interaction or affliction they flew unto people. But spotting Odalia a few weeks after everything had gone back to normal, the eternal child floated downward until their feet met the ground. They were right behind her, leaning a bit forward to tug on the woman's shirt, biting their lower lip.

"You don't hafta..." They begin, eyes glued to the floor, "But if you wanted to, I could still really use a....parent? Is um, is that what you mortals call it?"

"You don't have to worry about me hurting you. I promised Luz I would try to make friends the right way..." They lower themself to the ground, joining their hands together in front of them, hoping it would convince the person they meant no harm.

They stared intently at the gem, laying on their stomach in the mid air, small legs kicking behind them as they think. "You're all pink, too. Did you eat something that turned you pink?"

The Boiling Isles sure had it's fair share of intriguing creatures, ranging from witches to demons to....everything else. But The Collector had yet to happen upon whatever this creature before them was. The stranger was similar in stature to them, so they wondered, perhaps, they were also a child?

"Are you new here?" They question the newcomer, tilting their head to the side. "I mean, 'cause I've been here for like, forever, an' I haven't seen anything like YOU."

Seeing Belos again was like a walking nightmare. Hadn't they gotten rid of him? They had made the mistake of trying to approach this man in a pacifistic way but that was in the past. They kept their temper under wraps for long enough already. Seeing the man come their way, the child floats up in the air, small hands curled into and eyes glowing with a vengeful gloss.

"I won't be tricked again. You're not worth my friendship OR kindness!"

im attempting (keyword here being attempting!) to tackle a lot of those starters! my semester is winding down but my physical health hasnt been super great so its gonna take me quite a bit. i also wasnt expecting so many ppl to like the starter call so i will warn you guys itll take me some time. i am not the fastest
