Did anyone else watch MAAN on Monday the 27th because Tom (accidentally?) kissed Hayley when they were out of character and actually not meant to. Method acting?

Was it after he spins her around because that’s in character.

I feel bad for Tom. His career is only Loki. He does other things but he always goes back to Loki. Sebastian Stan was just nominated for an Oscar. All the other marvel actors have had success outside of the MCU but Tom needs Loki to stay relevant.

We’ll see if that’s true after The Life of Chuck.

So what are your thoughts on Tom being in Doomsday?

Part of me honestly would have prefered Marvel to leave him at peace in his tree. But Tom seems to be excited about it,he posted the announcement twice on his ig which is a lot of social media action for him. And one has to say: our boy is back on top, working his ass off. The meagre times seem to be over.

I feel like he will probably be in one scene so I’m fine with it. I just don’t want him spending all his time as Loki and we wait for these other movies he’s supposedly got lined up!!

Much Ado About nothing is so wonderful. I don´t have words for it but it is done so well. Tom is glowing on that stage, he looks so happy. His chemistry with Hayley (who is also great) is off the charts. I really hope this will become a thing and they may put together some on-screen project together. I left smiling and beaming. My guess is that this goes to Broadway next spring.

I saw play two days ago. He looks incredible. I saw him first time in my life and wow, he’s probably best looking guy I’ve seen in my life. But I agree with anon below - there were tooooo many moments when women squealed like teenagers - when they weren't teenagers at all, and it wasn't just the shirt-ripping scene. I get it, my heart was racing throughout the whole performance, but it was a bit embarrassing... I wonder if Tom is getting a bit fed up with it over the years of women reacting to him like that. At the beginning of his career, it must have been very exciting for him, but now he seems like someone who's had enough.

I’m sure he doesn’t mind, ego wise, but I’m sure he also wants people to observe proper theater etiquette!

I watched the play last night and it was great! It was my first time seeing Tom life after waiting…more than a decade in this fandom. BUT, it was really annoying watching it with grown ass fangirls fake laughing loud every time Tom opened his mouth.

That’s awesome! I’m glad you go to see him, shrieking women not withstanding. But when he rips his shirt open, who can blame them!

Tom looks so good in the pics from opening night. I love the suit! Zawe is still rocking her bag dresses but the color compliments him nicely. It doesn't look like she's wearing her engagement ring though?

I know that they have their repective partners and I'm happy for them, but Tom and Hayley look so great together! I always thought they would be such a cute couple, their chemistry is magnetic. I really hope we get to see them working together more after this. My fingers are crossed they move MAAN to Broadway, super jealous of everyone who gets to go.

I clicked on the author's name to see what their previous pieces were and it seems they only do puff pieces like 20 Oscars Contenders Worth The Watch This Year & alike.

Seems they sent someone a bit out of their comfort zone to do the interview which explains why the piece feels high school essay-ish and also the lack of double checking considering Hayley seems to be wearing only her engagement ring in press videos from earlier this month and also the rehearsal images from January.

Odd that British Vogue would drop the ball like that! I thought they double checked with publicists and agents to make any personal information as accurate as possible or even remove it if need be. 🙄

i have to assume the journalist just didn't check / referred to their partners as spouses because of how popular the idea of common law marriage is now.

also i doubt tom & hayley's teams respectively wouldn't announce a marriage considering tom's engagement was softlaunched as was zawe's pregnancy in the press lol.

then again the piece itself seems lamely written. "atwell seems very well spoken" gee. really?

“Atwell rattles on. She is a great and articulate talker.”

It reads like it was written by a high school kid doing a report 🙄 do better Vogue!

I would have to disagree with that. She has Peggy Carter, but anyone outside of a Marvel fan doesn’t really know her.

What about Mission Impossible? She played/plays Grace in two films so far and was rumoured to be Tom Cruise's gf for some time.

Yeah I’m just willing to bet most of the general public couldn’t tell you anybody else who was in a mission impossible movie except for Tom Cruise. You could say she was the girl in the last mission impossible movie and they’d probably go oh yeah OK the brunette or the blonde one?

Tom Hiddleston & Hayley Atwell On Their ’90s House-Scored Take On ‘Much Ado About Nothing’

Directed by Jamie Lloyd, the production will shed a whole new light on Shakespeare’s masterful romantic comedy.

The author mentioned towards the bottom that they’re both married but I think this is just bad journalism. Hayley was listed with her fiancé in December at The Tempest opening and somehow I doubt they fit a wedding in between then and starting a new play, but possible. Of course we’ll probably never know when Tom and Zawe get married, they could have although he’s still not wearing a ring. But overall I don’t trust that information is correct.
