Wildlife photographer Terry Nunn captured rare photos of a white leucistic bald eagle.
Over the last couple of weeks here in Southwest Missouri, I’ve been fortunate enough to spend time photographing the very rare leucistic bald eagle — and I still had a few frames I hadn’t shared yet. Similar… but different. A slight turn of the head. A change in light. A new perch. Along with a few fresh ones from a trip just a few days ago.
Every encounter with her feels rare. Quiet. Intentional. The kind of wildlife moment you don’t take for granted.
