Complete fuckin’ bust
Despite occasional lonesomeness, I love my little life and my home.
Find peace in solitude, and comfort in your surroundings.
I'll take a quiet life over a drama filled one.
Maybe one day I'll find someone who exists as I do.
“I love you not for whom you are, but who I am when I am by your side.”

“I’ve always liked quiet people: You never know if they’re dancing in a daydream or if they’re carrying the weight of the world.”
— John Green (via lonequixote)
‘X-Ray’ by Helmut Newton, 1995.
Frightened Rabbit - “My Backwards Walk,” for Bandstand Busking.
This version always hit me really hard. Lots of late nights scouring YouTube for videos just like this one, really respecting the way this man wrote and performed his songs. It’s intimate, and that build up resonates so powerfully.
Rest easy, Scott. Songs like these will always be an important part of me.
I'm working on drawing a straight line
And I'll draw until I get one right

See I ain’t getting better, I am only getting behind
I am standing on a crossroad trying to make up my mind
I’m trying to remember how it got so late
Why every night pain comes from a different place
Now something’s got to change
I put my foot to the floor
To make up for the miles I’ve been losing
I’m running out of things I didn’t even know I was using
“but those storms keep coming back singing birds in sickness sing the same blues songs when they fell out of the emptiness they must have brought along space’s loneliness”
— Jason Molina (Songs: Ohia), from “Blue Chicago Moon,” Didn’t It Rain LP (Secretly Canadian, 2002)
series of small victories… Charles Bukowski

I can't call you all mine anymore
I can't call you fullstop
But you know you can call me up anytime
Call me whatever the fuck you want
