Yo what’s up y’all,It has been 9 years since my last post due to tumblr became super censored. But 4 years ago tumblr removed its censorship. I was very excited to get the news but the damage was done. I slowly returned to the app with no intentions of posting any new work( and I mean tons of thousands of new work). But yesterday i spent the day scrolling down my page inspired, embarrassed, entertained, happy, sad and over all ready to show y’all how far I’ve come since my last post.

Part 1 of 2 sets of photographs by Blair Prentice from the Kerry James Marshall: Mastry exhibition at the MET Breuer. The exhibition runs from October 25, 2016 – January 29, 2017.

MET Breuer is currently showcasing over eighty works of the American artist Kerry James Marshall in a retrospective from his 35-year career. With each work, Marshall has successfully helped to redraw art historical depictions of black people using their Western historical painting tradition.
