killing myself
well in light of this i do wanna say i really enjoy being part of this subset of the tennisblr community, and the fact that we can recognize each other’s gifs by style alone speaks to the care and creativity that goes into making and posting them
girl
tennisblr gif makers - im not sure if you guys are aware abt it but im pretty sure there is a trend going on with gif edits on tiktok. Users basically take gifs and made a video out of them and i recognise those gifs by heart, which were made by none other, editors on tumblr. I know most of you guys dont allow reposts but this is tiktok users we're talking about. link to one of the edits is here
why is jcf talking abt coaching jannik now 😭😭

fun fact 🤓☝🏻: 2 days ago joão had never won when being down 0-2; he now has done it twice - one being against novak djokovic
My unpopular opinion is that there’s no such thing as an ‘illegal mto’ and that this sports and fans obsession with health and how systems can be abused instead of focusing on players health is frankly embarrassing
the way tennis discourse has become obsessed with “gaming the system” whenever a player needs medical attention is genuinely strange. people seem far more interested in playing detective about whether someone is “really injured enough” instead of acknowledging that athletes are competing under brutal physical conditions and sometimes genuinely need help. and the whole idea of an “illegal mto” often feels rooted in the assumption that players owe spectators visible suffering until they physically cannot continue anymore. it turns healthcare into suspicion and performance instead of just treating athletes like human beings with bodies that can fail, overheat, cramp, panic, or break down unpredictably.
and fuck gerebito too
