Will I get flamed for saying that I actually DONT think Connor was deviant from the beginning?

To me it’s because he’s a prototype android made for negotiations, I don’t think it’s that much of a stretch that Connor could emulate human emotions/tics without ACTUALLY feeling it or understanding why

Like I feel like a lot of what his ‘deviant’ behaviors in the beginning can be explained by him needing to exhibit them to be able to be a better negotiator

We already know CyberLife made androids able to mimic breathing to help with the unease of androids, I wouldn’t think it’s too far out that Connor playing with his coin is another one of those habits CyberLife coded into him

Like imagine you’re being talked out of holding a girl over the ledge of the building and the negotiator is just like ‘😐 nooo don’t do it nooo Daniel’

ig i must have really missed drawing bc i started and finished two drawings within the span of 24 hours. but once again i am neglecting my wips LMAO. i'll get to them. i also gotta get back to writing u_u

i've been fighting with wanting to create more "finished" pieces that are colored and rendered but not having the focus and energy to "finish" the drawing so it remains a wip. but as a very wonderful and lovely friend has said to me (cough cough amorfista cough cough), sometimes the drawing is finished at its sketch phase. so been trying to embrace that bc as good as clean line art looks, i think i will always love my sketchy not so rendered drawings more. really happy with how i executed the hatching here! i wanted to try out a more abstract composition and i think it reads quite nicely.

i think i might start leaning back into my traditional art graphite roots and draw more pieces with just hatching and shading and minimal color. but i am very fickle and like trying new things so we'll see how what i end up doing next.

something i have a strong dislike for in dbh is how kara’s strength is practically NON EXISTENT. even tho it makes absolutely no sense that she would somehow be weaker because ANDROIDS DONT HAVE MUSCLE !!!!!!!! they are BUILT to basically have SUPER STRENGTH. they cannot tire and they dont have ‘limits’ in the same way humans do. but somehow kara is consistently unable to do things with raw strength, and has to get luther to do it for her (like at that carnival place when you have to pull the wooden boards off the door) it makes literally no sense bc kara SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THAT !!!! its honestly just misogyny at this point. fuck you david cage
