Request:Â hiiii can you write spooky dating a shy innocent girl?
Oscar Spooky Diaz had come into your cafĂ© each day around the same hour for two weeks. He didnât strike you as a coffee or tea person and you were right- he always drank Coke. From his usual spot by the window, he used to watch you work. At first you were intimidated by his appearance, especially the tear drop tattoo, but you had to admit, gradually you felt calmer in his presence, relaxed even. He wasnât watching you the whole time like some creepy stalker, but occasionally his eyes would find yours, as if he was trying to mentally tell you something you couldnât quite interpret yet.
âY/N, if that guy isnât interested in you, then Iâll eat my hat.â Your colleague whispered one day, gently poking you in the ribs to get your attention whilst washing some dishes.
âNah, I mean look at me.â You shook your head, not willing to believe anything your colleague was implying.
âSeriously, girl, this is not his usual hood. He lives down in Freeridge, my brother went to school with him. Why else would he come here every day, drinking Coke out of his comfort zone?â
Shooting him a glance, you thoroughly thought about that. Maybe your colleague was right, maybe Oscar did fancy you. But what did it matter, if he wouldnât come up to talk to you? You certainly wouldnât. He couldnât possibly fancy a mousy, shy girl like you, could he?
A couple of days later, you caught yourself peeking over at the big clock on the wall a little too excitedly, waiting for your potential admirer to show up.
Just as you had turned your back towards the entrance, brewing a Cappuccino for a customer, he came in. Swiftly, you turned around with the hot beverage in your hands and nearly spilled it all over the place because of two big brown eyes staring into yours. For a second, you were paralyzed. He hadnât looked at you like this before, usually all you two had shared were very brief moments of eye contact.
Carefully, you placed the drink on the counter and collected the money from the customer while Oscar patiently stood there, waiting for his turn. Letting the money drop into the till, you noticed your hands were shaking. Your mouth suddenly went dry while your heart nearly exploded inside your chest.
Calm down, calm down, calm down.
âHi. What would you like?â You lifted your head to face him, gathering all the confidence you could. So far you hadnât seen him this close so you took a moment to memorize his facial features. As well as he seemed intimidating, his smile also was very charming and charismatic.
âCoke, please. And a piece of you.â
Your mouth went agape at his reply, not believing what heâd just said. Waves of heat covered your cheeks and you wished you could disappear into thin air right there.
Clearing his throat, Oscar added, âtoo much?â
All you managed to do was nod.
He rubbed the back of his head almost sheepishly and you chuckled, reaching for a Coke from the fridge.
âNow seriously, princesa, whenâs your shift ending? Iâd rather share my Coke with you.â
You peeked over at the clock once more, mentally counting the hours until closing time, because frankly, you couldnât turn him down despite the cheesy first pick up line.
Suddenly, your colleague appeared from the kitchen and took your arm, shoving you into Oscarâs direction. âSheâs on her lunch break, actually.â
It was impossible to escape the situation now, your colleague handed you a second bottle of Coke and you looked up into Oscarâs content, yet relieved face.
Oscar made you feel incredibly special in his presence. His warm brown eyes were absolutely devoted to yours, not looking anywhere else but at you. Occasionally, his hand would brush against yours on the table as he watched you with adoration how you spoke or twirled your hair between your fingers. More often than you would admit it, you caught yourself staring at his beautifully shaped lips. They looked like soft silky pillows and you wondered how theyâd feel pressed against yours.
At the end of your break, Oscar asked about your plans for the next day, which was your day off. He offered to take you somewhere, a quiet place where you could talk and get to know each other better. Of course you happily accepted.
Not even 24 hours later you were strolling along the beach next to Oscar, the soft ocean breeze running through your hair. You loved the feeling of the sand between your toes and the hint of Oscarâs musky cologne filling your nostrils. He was very open about his past, jail time, bad decisions, school memories and family issues. It surprised you how much he had been through already, yet he wasnât a man to complain about his life. In his opinion, he had made the best of it.
Feeling the warm sunshine on your face was unwinding your thoughts and actions pleasurably, so when you were sitting next to Oscar in the soft sand, you lay back down, sighing deeply in relaxation. Oscar chuckled and followed suit, laying down beside you with your shoulders touching. You smiled when he cautiously grabbed your hand, intertwining his fingers with yours, letting them both sit on his broad chest. His slow, consistent breathing was soothing you even more and when you turned your head to look at him, he looked so peaceful and calm, not a single frown covering his face. Your eyes fell shut again, enjoying the silence, the feeling of his hand in yours and his thumb stroking lazy circles on your skin.
After a few minutes, Oscar stirred and you felt a sudden shadow covering your face. When you opened your eyes you saw him propped up on his elbow, looking down on you with a soft smile playing on his perfect lips. You couldnât help but stare at them and unknowingly licked your own lips to wet them in preparation of what was about to happen. Oscar inched closer until your noses were touching and you felt his warm breath on your cheek. As if to tell you to close your eyes, he cupped your cheek with one big hand of his, thumb running along your cheekbone.
Your breathing stopped. The gap between your lips finally closed, that was when you allowed your lungs to fill up again. Oscarâs lips felt like velvet cushions, so soft and gentle you were about to lose your mind, especially when he lowered his chest a bit further down so it was flush against yours.
His tongue gingerly entered your mouth, slow and slick against yours, and your hand ran up to his neck to find something to hold on to, to keep yourself from moaning into his mouth at the sensations he was giving you. Damn, that man was a good kisser.
It felt like you were kissing for an eternity when Oscar eventually pulled away. His lips were wet and puffy, looking even sexier than before. Sweetly, he kissed your nose before sitting himself up and helping you do so as well.
âAy, here we go,â he whispered contently, wrapping a strong arm around your shoulders. When you looked up you knew what he meant. Sun was slowly setting over the ocean, turning the water into a beautiful drawing of red and pink. Your head dropped onto his shoulder and Oscar pulled you even closer against him than before, watching the sun disappear into the sea.
