I have two questions, but I don't know who to ask and you seem safe. So, I'm asexual, but I also have fetishes and kinks of my own, but they don't always feel fully sexual? I don't know how to fully describe it. My first question is just can fetish or kink be nonsexual?

My second dilemma is due to the fact that I'm not totally sex repulsed. Like, the idea of someone doing anything sexual to me makes me want to cry. But, the idea of doing it to someone else or watching someone else doing it is something I actually really like. My question is if I could realistically participate in a sexual situation where nothing happens to me, or am I just being weird?

I've always been the type of person who needs to imagine that something sexual and stimulating is happening to me specifically in order to get physically aroused. I apologize if this is maybe too weird or harsh, but me and girlfriend have been getting into pain play and specifically she’s letting me cut her and it’s been great. We’re both freaks and also asexual who don’t actually get a lot from normal sex. It’s boring, so adding other sensations aside from touch (like pain, temperature, I can’t think of any others) is way more fun and makes it feel less like doing nothing for awhile and then feeling kind of good for a minute maybe. Before I knew what sex was I would get aroused by things pertaining to my fetish (so I have a fetish for shivering, which means I’m into fear play, overstim, cold stuff, etc.) but unfortunately when I learned what sex was and what I was feeling I got super ashamed of it and tried to make myself ignore how I was feeling, and only get off to more vanilla stuff (didn’t work, I’m asexual and any genitals involved is a nope. It is how I discovered overstim tho). Then I learned what fetishes were and also learned about things like RACK, and essentially realized that no, I’m not a horrible person for wanting to see people in situations that most people would consider bad, also the person in question could be enjoying it too. Now I’m an adult who writes my own self indulgent stuff (never showing it to anyone tho unless they’re into kinky stuff lol) and is not ashamed at all!

(Side note, fetishes sometimes bleed over into non sexual scenarios, right? Because I also find the idea of someone being scared and someone else, usually me, comforting them to be very sweet/heartwarming, and for me the first sign I have a crush on someone (I’m fictoromantic so they’re always characters) is wanting to see them be vulnerable and most likely comfort them. I had a similar experience with my kinks and even though I was getting off to content of my main fetish since I was a young teenager, I refused to admit to myself that I had a fetish or kink at all til I was 18 cause in my autistic child brain I wasn't "allowed" to have kinks until I was an adult but then I accepted myself a lot better from there and have been told I am a lovely person to talk about kink with.

I used to feel super self conscious about having a micropenis. I tried to feel confident about it by looking for porn where people's bodies looked like mine. I mostly found small penis humiliation stuff, and while that's cool and all, it wasn't for me, and I ended up feeling worse about myself. It took a lot of digging to find small penis appreciation porn, and that has been so worth it!! Like seeing people say it's okay and actually beautiful and it doesn't matter if I can penetrate properly makes me feel great. I love kink.

Me and my jackoff buddies are super analytical about kinks/fetishes, so we all like to share our kinks with each other and figure out why we have them and what it could be related to and all that jazz. And then they all figured out what works especially, which led to a lot of self-discovery on my part. Like, I figured out that I like being shamed and made fun of cause when I was a child, I felt guilty for even existing, and it was a constant guilt that was all I could think about and wouldn't go away. I’ve had trouble in the past taking my sleep medication due to trauma, but somnophilia has actually helped a lot. I like engaging in that fantasy because it helps me process my emotions in fear in a safe environment. It’s the idea of someone touching me while I’m unconscious, but this time it’s something I want and it’s something I’m enjoying.
