It's so painful
It hurts. It physically hurts to breathe, to live every moment in fear because your mind, your body, the very core of you has been conditioned to fear the worst when the yelling gets a little too loud, when someone gets a little too close, when a discussion gets a little too personal. And it aches when you feel like your the one to blame. And it tears you apart when you see yourelf in the mirror. Because that's when it starts to dawn on you that it's real. Every time that you had laid awake at night; too scared to sleep, too scared to dream, too scared to relive everything. And the days you couldn't eat anything because you threw it all back up because you just couldn't stomach it down. And all the times that you drank until you felt n u m b. It all became real and that was the most painful
