24/07 wednesday recovering may seem impossible at times, but remember the unseen friends and memories that you will make in the future.
song of the day: summer depression by girl in red
summer depression/there's so much time to question my life
I knew that I felt like this last summer, and made a vow to enjoy my next summer while it lasts. so even if no one likes this blog, I'll enjoy it as a way of feeling helpful. all the time that summer has while there's no school may seem to be infinite, but I goes so quickly. so I've made a point of trying to get outside this summer, enjoy myself, become healthier, happier and a better person.
goal today: clear your spotify, and start from scratch. on friday I deleted all my playlists, and started from scratch, adding new songs from different artists and broadening my horizon. I made them all have a theme, and tried not to put too many duplicates in there. here's a link to my 'sleepy' playlist, with songs that are calm and not too upbeat, so I can listen to it as I'm winding down for the evening. https://open.spotify.com/user/oliainger/playlist/6RbkcGIX9ewIv5HhMZF8mL?si=gB25DQgUSt2RHeXWN7ToXw
23/07 tuesday
give yourself space to relax, you're not a robot
song of the day: confident by demi lovato
I make my own choice/bitch, I run this show
demi finally feels confident in her own body, and this is what I'm trying to help with. whenever I feel not active, motivated, or even want to get up, I listen to this song and others like it. (the Spotify song radio.) I'll link a playlist of the songs I've liked in this radio.

goal today: eat healthy. have oatmeal for breakfast with a banana. have pasta for lunch, or a sandwich on whole wheat bread. eat a ton of carrot sticks. Trust me, your body will thank you, and if you keep it up, then you will feel healthier (obviously), have more energy and stamina, have clearer skin if you avoid greasy food and drink water. if anyone had or has an ed, remember to eat how you should, not how you want.
it seems yall enjoy yellow aesthetics more than stuff I put time into. if anyone confirms this then I'll remove all text posts and not try to be any different and just be a cookie cutter blog. thanks for having so much interest.
22/07 monday
let yourself start over, don't linger in the past.
song of the day: I knew you were trouble. by Taylor swift
I knew you were trouble when you walked in/shame on me now
this song is about Taylor accepting her mistake, and moving on from it. she doesn't let it get her down, because she's human and makes mistakes.
goal today: clean your desk. this creates a clear mind, you're more likely to use it, and it will help you have a more clear and airy room, especially if you open the windows. this helps if you haven't gone outside in a while, just getting fresh air is good.
21/07 sunday. Happy birthday @lilyylunapotter!!
at any time you can change your course in life. it just depends on how much you want to
song of the day: idontwannabeyouanymore by billie eilish
if teardrops could be bottled/there'd be swimming pools filled by models
this lyrics sounded 'fake deep' to me at first, but I started thinking about it and how it shows that even people who seem flawless and are shown off in this way are still human and suffer from sadness and fear
goal of the day: create something. a drawing, a meal, or even a new combination of clothes. just make something, prove that you can do it, prove to yourself that you can do something, don't worry about the skill level. this isn't about creating something beautiful or award-worthy, just to be able to say "I made this myself".
hello! May I ask how you make your playlists as I am very bad at making them?
I usually have a few songs in mind already when I come up with playlist ideas. Like I always have music playing from my Spotify when I’m driving and sometimes I’ll hear a song and it gives me an idea for a playlist. Then I’ll just go from there. It’s a bit harder for requests because sometimes I get ones I really can’t relate to, but I’ll just try to think of as many songs as I can off the top of my head that I think might work, and then Google lyrics to check that they somewhat fit. Occasionally there’s songs where the sound of them just really fit the playlist’s vibe, even if the lyrics aren’t completely related, so I’ll still use them. Ooh, and also on Spotify you can auto generate radio stations for songs you like, so sometimes if there’s a song I think really fits a playlist idea, I’ll look at the radio station for it and see if I can discover any other songs from that that’ll work. Otherwise, for all the filler I’ll scroll through all my songs on Spotify and play random ones and see if I think they fit. And every now and then when I really need help, I’ll look up other people’s playlists on Spotify, especially for certain characters since there’s pretty much a playlist for every character and ship from the end of time already made on there. But I make a point to only ever take one or two songs from someone else’s playlist. I only use their playlist as a method to give myself ideas by seeing what sort of vibe the songs they picked give off, and then I try to find my own songs that give off the same energy. Hope that helps. It’s definitely not a fast process, which is why I get sort of lazy about my requests sometimes!
thank you this helped so much, I always struggle with making playlists and I didn't even know that Spotify radio was a thing.
