Love the original, love this mellow cover ~ just gives the words another look-in.

I love this - the story, the concept, the execution - but please read Boston's Magazine's own words on how it came about and the story behind each shoe http://www.bostonmagazine.com/news/blog/2013/04/25/behind-our-may-boston-marathon-cover/

What a beautiful way to show sympathy... ~ read the whole article for these New York activists from The Illuminator's brilliant take on how to spread togetherness, reclaiming public space for the community.

These are some of the 'Screams' from Nature
http://thescreamfromnature.com/
I find this project so inspiring - by simple measure and the joy of creation, you not only raise awareness for the cause, but also a memory that every single person creating their 'scream' will cherish. And not only their own creation, but being part of the bigger movement - one that will hopefully impact the environmental choices they make.
Crystal CG did all this amazing work for the London 2012 Olympics - in one word: epic
Making pink lemonade... and don't eat the yellow snow!
How amazing is life? Crazy - but pretty wonderful. The last time I posted was before the Olympics and after my time in Poland and Ukraine - and in those two months so many crazy, fabulous things have happened.
Well, it has been a lot of work. I've done a roadshow around the UK for one of our clients, in typical British summer style - from sweltering sunshine to torrential rain, but always with a smile. And then onto a taste of the winter by working for another client at three UK snow domes. In the meantime the seasons have turned and we're deep in autumn.
The Olympics were great, London came alive and we discovered the power of smiles. The forewarned travel chaos never transpired, most of us had an easier commute than normal - shops were open later, which meant we actually got the shopping in, and the British discovered a few new sports - it was great.
And this week it's London Fashion week, and when I went to watch the show my friend Luke produced for Bora Aksu I somehow ended up backstage and dressing one of the models. Crazy, fun, last minute. Just how I like it, but oh I'm exhausted now. So my autumn wish is for more time to see, call and email my amazing friends, hopefully to a point where they get sick of me.
So as the mornings become crisper and leaves turn golden, I'll post this with the hope of raising a smile or two ~t
It's almost time for EURO2012, so the last week has been spent mostly in transit. A few snapshots from Poland and Ukraine - including Stalin's Palace of Culture in downtown Warsaw and the 'Mother Motherland' statue in Kiev. Not forgetting the powder milk on the Aerosvit airline, all part of the charms of Eastern Europe ~ trine
Live every day like it's your last, 'cause one day you're gonna be right.

New beginnings ~ our friends Francesco & Mario have just started up a fantastic gelato place in Borough Market, 3BIS.
Following them on this exciting, but stressful journey for over a year has made me realise two things: 1) If you really want something, don't give up. If it's meant to be, the struggle will make the success feel even sweeter 2) Life takes some amazing twists and turns, sometimes you've just got to go with the flow and could well find yourself at the most wonderful, unexpected place.
And for F&M, I raise a coppa of limone, liquirizia and strawberry to wish them the very best of luck ~ trine
