Another year, another birthday adventure! This year we visited the Waitomo Caves and did the Black Abyss adventure 🧗🏼♀️ Incredible! 6/10 for adrenaline rush but 10/10 for overall experience. From start to finish, it was a 5 hour experience which is INSANE especially compared to a sky dive or a bungy etc. We did a 35m Abseil and then a flying fox underground. I couldn’t stop giggling as I flew down the flying fox because I literally felt like I was in a Disney movie! Surrounded by glow worms (which just an FYI are not worms, they are maggots and the light is their poo) it was amazing. Highly recommend! I love love loveeeeee travelling my own back yard. Spontaneous Christmas adventures 🎅🏼🎄 This weather is m to the i to serable. It’s a big fat NO from me. However, holiYAYs have started and I am activating relaxation mode. Millie, dad and I went into the city to explore. We found markets, I grabbed a @grownupdonuts Christmas adult classic which was eggnog spiced custard in a bloody donut, divineeeeee. Then we wandered around, I forced everyone to take lots of photos with me. We did the classic Gibson tradition of always going to the Japanese store because how cute are the gifts there!
