In his defense it had been a very long day. He had barely gotten 3 hours of sleep last night before the three of you and to get up and rush out the door because Jody needed backup after having gotten caught in a Rakshasa case.
The simple stabbing and killing, ended up becoming a whole family of the wretched beasts that you, Sam, and Dean now had to deal with.
Even after all that, Sam decided he wasn't going to rest when you finally got back to the bunker like you and Dean decided to, he was gonna look up more cases and research how to kill the monsters involving them.
Leave it to him to put hunting above his own well being. You had tried to convince him to rest up before sitting at a desk for hours but he wouldn't budge "People need help." he had said.
Which is why, you aren't surprised when you walk into the war room and see him fast asleep on the chair he had been sitting in, his head pressed against his hand which is resting on the keys of his laptop.
You smile to yourself and walk over to him, not wanting to wake him up and it's not like you can you can carry him to the bed so you simply grab a blanket, one which Dean had wrapped around himself earlier while he watched some chick flick and giggled like a child.
You walk over to Sam, trying to keep your footsteps as soft as possible as to not wake him up before draping the blanket over his shoulders.
Before you can even register what's happening, your wrist is caught in his hand and you're being tugged down into his lap, causing you to tumble forward due to the lack of balance. "Dude what the fuck!" you gasp the smallest bit, the whole action having caught you off guard.
He only replies by looking down at you with a sleepy and lazy gaze, a small smirk appearing on his lips. "What? I wanna cuddle." you look at him flabbergasted at his ability to go from dead asleep to teasing you in mere seconds.
"I thought you were asleep." you mumble which only makes him chuckle. "I'm a light sleeper. Plus I always know when you're around." you roll your eyes at his flirty comment but can't stop the smile that's now on your face.
"Alright well you wanna go lay on an actual bed? Or do you just want your back to ache so you can ask me for a massage tomorrow?" his smirk widens as he pretends to think about the offer before muttering.
"Well I wouldn't be opposed to a massage but fine I'll go to bed." the words barely leave his mouth before he scoops you up from his lap, carrying you bridal style into your shared bedroom which causes you to yelp. "Stop man handling me you lug!"
He only laughs before entering your bedroom and practically tossing you onto the bed, his own body following suit after. He buries his face in you neck, inhaling in your scent before placing a kiss there. "God you smell good." his voice barely audible in the crook of your neck.
"Shut up and sleep idiot." you say in an attempt to keep up the annoyed facade but of course he can see right through you so he just nuzzles further into you and mumbles "Your idiot." and you couldn't be happier cuddling and falling asleep with the idiot who has proclaimed himself as yours.

The first thing Dean noticed when you walked into the kitchen was that you were wearing Sam's shirt. The second thing he noticed was the massive purple bruise on the side of your neck. A hickey.
It isn't a secret that you and Sam have been dating. It isn't a secret at all since it's been going on for years. You're both adults. Adults have adult relationships. And of course Dean has no problem with it, why would he? He's happy for his little brother and the girl that's practically his sister at this point.
The thing he does have a problem with is the noises that he has to hear almost every single night. The bunker is a very safe and proctected place to live in but it doesn't protect his ears from the obscene and borderline pornographic sounds that come out of yours and Sam's room. And Dean heard it all once again last night.
When you woke up this morning, you didn't bother getting ready before breakfast because it's just Sam and Dean and they've seen you in way worse conditions than just bed head.
So you shuffled out of your extremely comfortable and inviting sheets and pulled on Sam's blue flannel, not wanting to scandalize Dean and traumatize the poor man by walking in naked. The flannel swallowed you up so you didn't bother putting on pants since it came down to cover most of your thighs and hangs off your arms like wings.
No surprise there since your giant of a boyfriend is 6 feet 4 inches of pure muscle. You barely even looked at yourself in the mirror while washing your face so you seemed to have missed the very prominent hickey Sam has left on your neck like a gift that you are completely unaware of when you walk into the kitchen.
"Jesus did you get attacked by a vamp?" Dean blurts out almost as soon as he sees you. You raise an eyebrow at him, not quite comprehending what he's referring to.
"Excuse me?"you mumble in a daze of sleepiness before Sam finally looks up from the in-process pancakes he's working on in the pan and his eyes widen, heat already creeping up his neck and he mutters "Shit." before he points to his own neck in an attempt to silently explain the problem to you.
Your expression mirrors his in realization and you immediately fix your hair, bringing it to the front so it covers the side of your neck. "I- uh- burned myself with a curling iron." you mumble before you can even think about the logistics of the excuse.
Dean smirks and points to your hair, nodding his head in mock agreement. "Oh right. A curling iron." you huff and run your hand through your hair, suddenly feeling self conscious about the hickey and now also your hair, completely messed up and tangeled, courtesy of your pillow.
In a failed attempt at covering up your lie, you blurt out the first excuse for a hickey that comes to your mind. "I got bit by a spider." Dean smirks, trying not to laugh at your pathetic lies and nods towards Sam who's still awkwardly standing by the stove. "Dude, she's resorted to calling you a spider now. Think you might be doing something wrong." he says and it's comical how Sam and your faces instantly drop while Dean laughs his ass off.
Sam let's out an annoyed groan but can't help the smile appearing on his lips as he opens his arms, gesturing for you to step into them to which you gladly oblige. "Maybe just be a little inconspicuous next time." you mumble into his chest while his hands rub your back up and down, his lips mumbling on top of your head. "No promises."
Dean finally calms down from his fit of laughter and says through a mouthful of pancakes "Leave as many hickeys as you want on each other, just do it quietly. For the love of Baby, I can't hear any more moaning and thrusting while I'm trying to get my beauty sleep."
A blush spreads across your face at his words which is hidden in Sam's chest as if you're trying to disappear from the embarrassment but when you hear both their laughter, you smile to yourself, knowing you wouldn't have it any other way. No matter how embarrassing it may be.
It wasn't the worst hunt you've ever been on. It didn't even take that long. The thing is that Dean might have been a little drunk and accidentally grabbed the witch killing bullets instead of the silver bullets. So when you tried to shoot the werewolf, the only thing it accomplished was pissing it off more.
You ended up having to run back to the Impala to get the silver bullets but that was more than enough time for the werewolf to almost kill all of you. Somehow, even drunk, Dean ended up walking away with the least injuries and you almost wrung his neck out for it.
You walk into the tiny motel bathroom, Sam trailing in behind you. You look in the mirror and see your shirts covered in blood (mostly werewolf) and looking like you just walked out of a slasher film. So you hoist yourself up on the counter beside the sink. He always insists he cleans your wounds first even if his injuries are worse.
He inspects your face, eyes trailing over the small cuts littering your face while he works on opening a pack of cotton pads. He pours some rubbing alcohol on one of the pads before pressing it lightly over one of your cuts.
You hiss through your teeth at the feeling of the alcohol on your raw skin before you give him a small nod, signaling for him to continue. While he cleans your cuts, you allow yourself to re-memorize his features.
Eyes lazily tracing his scrunched up brows and how his eyes harden in focus. The small blue patch lost in the hazel looking a bit more prominent than usual. You always did love his eyes. The way they never really could decide what colour they wanted to be.
You see the worry in them and bring your hand up to trace the small cut on his cheek with your thumb. "It's not that bad I swear. You look worse than me." it ends up coaxing a small smile out of him and he mumbles "I always do." you huff out a laugh.
Leave it to him to make you laugh at the worst possible times. "You know damn well that's not what I meant." he doesn't reply, just simply continues cleaning you up. The silence is loud but not uncomfortable.
You adore moments like this because you know how long it took you two to get here. When you first met, you were both super guarded so a relationship between you was completely off the table. When it did happen, it wasn't just because you liked each other and started dating.
It took years of studying and learning each others quirks and ticks to build a bond almond similar to the one he has with Dean. A siblings kind of trust. You didn't even know you were falling until one day, you were just dating and you didn't even realize.
One of the first things you learned about each other was that you both hated being vulnerable in front of others and never let anyone see you injured. You smile at how far you've come. Now patching up each others wounds after a hunt.
You take the cotton pad from him and toss it in the trash before grabbing a fresh one and pressing it gently on the cut on his cheekbone. You see his jaw clench and you grab his hand in comfort. Taking his nod as confirmation, you start wiping his cuts with the pad.
It's now his turn to study your face and you let him. You pull out a small tube of vitamin gel and gingerly start dabbing it on the bruise on his jaw with your middle finger.
You learned early into hunting that simply icing bruises won't fade them fast enough because you never know when you have to go undercover so vitamin gel is the best solution even if it stings a bit.
He seems to relax a bit more when your hand touches his jaw, the tension in his shoulders fading. "What do you wanna do after this?" he whispers as if scared to break the intimidate moment by speaking too loudly.
"Shower before anything else unless you wanna be covered in werewolf blood the whole night." he can't help but crack a smile at that and replies "You wanna go first?" you raise an amused eyebrow, a silent method of communication you developed through the years.
"You're gonna make me shower all by myself? What if I can't reach my back?" he tried to hide the smirk forming on his lips but can't. "Oh well we wouldn't want you unable to scrub your back now would we?" "No we would not."
You finish applying the cream on his bruises and cap the tube before putting it away "Just don't hog all the space in the shower you giant." he throws his head back laughing at your words and you smile seeing him laugh like a little kid. "Hey it's not my fault I'm 6'4. The shower is just too small."
You bite your lip and mumble "Well I'm not complaining about your size." Sam's eyes widen at your words, a blush creeping up his neck but before he can get you back, you duck under his arm and run towards the shower, already pulling your shirt off and you see his eyes darken.
"Oh I'll show you my size darling." you can barely even get out a laugh before he's on you, his lips pressed hard against yours while his hands hooks into the waistband of your pants, cuts and bruises forgotten.

Your eyes flutter awake, blinking to adjust to the strands of sunlight beaming in the light the cracks between the curtains. You rub your eyes to get them to focus and the first thing your brain registers is his beautiful face, only a few inches from your own.
You smile when you realize that this is one of the few moments in your life when you have woken up before him. God knows Sam Winchester is an early riser. He could go to sleep at 4 am and he'd still be up before 6.
It's a productive habit in general but on the days when you have to wake up alone, the habit has very lonely side effects for you. He knows this, which is why he lays there with you until you do wake up. Or sometimes when he's feeling particularly clingy, he kisses you awake which are your favorite mornings.
You smile as your eyes trace over his closed ones, rolling them a bit when you notice once again that his eyelashes are longer than yours. You study the effortless beauty of his face, the relaxed expression he wears.
It's rare to see him this softened and calm, free of the usual crinkle between his brows. Your gaze drapes over the curve of his lips, the fading remnants of the small scar left behind from when bottom lip got busted. The hint of stubble he had yet to shave running down his jaw to his neck.
You smile at his unreal appearance before leaning in and leaving the tiniest kiss, right on his lips. He's a light sleeper so naturally, he stirs a bit, not quite waking up but almost. You smile and peck his lips one more time before you sit up, knowing you've laid the ground work for your plan to work.
You bite your lip, trying to suppress a smirk while you try to push the covers off your body until an arm reaches out and wraps itself around your waist before a groggy voice reaches your ears "Where do you think you're going?" you bite your lip harder at his morning voice.
It really did always have to do unspeakable things to you. "We have to get up honey." you say, repeating the exact words he uses when you're the one begging him not to get out of bed. "Gorgeous, if you get out of this bed right now, I will personally throw you over my shoulder and drag you back."
You giggle and mumble out a reply "It's almost 7:00." his arm tightens around your waist as he pulls you back down to his chest. "The world can survive without us for a few hours." he grumbles against your temple. "Can it though?" you say suspiciously to which he replies "Please. Just let me cuddle my very beautiful and very warm girlfriend for a bit longer."
You laugh and decide to mess with him a bit more. "Well then go get her and leave me alone." you hear him breath out a small laugh before you feel his lips on you jaw "You're a piece of shit." you bite your lip as he bites your jaw. "You're the one kissing and biting me so in theory, you're a piece of shit too."
He leans up from your jaw, his eyes locking onto yours while his hands cup your thighs and pull them around his waist. "A piece of shit who's about to show you just how much he wants you to stay in bed with him."
Well safe to say neither of you were able to do anything productive that day, not that he left you even able to.
It started out innocent. It really did. But then one thing led to another and now there's kissing and groping involved...
You and Sam had been dating for a few months and there's a lot you learned about him in that time but one really prominent thing is that he is really possessive.
Even if he doesn't show it. He acts all cool and calm but deep down, he wants to gauge out the eyes of anyone who even dares to look in your direction.
So when you, him, and Dean couldn't get a witness to give you the information you needed, you all knew what had to be done.
You walk into the bar wearing a tight shirt and jeans that are practically your second skin, the boys watching you from the corner while you pretend you don't know them and you walk straight towards the witness who is currently getting obnoxiously drunk at the bar.
"Whiskey sour please." you say to the bartender, putting on your brightest smile as you lean on the bar, letting the bartender and the guy beside you get an eyeful down your shirt. "Comin' right up sweetheart."
The bartender pours your drink while you turn to the witness beside you- Tim they said his name was- and smile, hoping that will be enough for him to initiate a conversation.
"Come here often?" he slurs, making no attempt to hide his gaze as it trails down your chest. You bite your lip knowing Dean is probably holding Sam back from coming over and beating the crap out of Tim.
"No but I will now." you smirk and look him up and down, trying to make the flirting more apparent than your disgust. "Oh, I like the sound of that. Tell me darlin' why don't we go in the back yeah?" Tim spits out, nodding towards the back of the bar towards the bathroom.
"Oh I don't know if I should. I heard there's a serial killer in town. Might just be you." You say as seductively as you can in this situation while trying to draw more information out of him.
"Nah that's just a rumour." he leans in closer, invading your personal space enough that you can smell the alcohol on his breath. "It's a vampire." he whispers.
Feigning amusement, you reply "A vampire? I haven't even had one drink yet. I'm so not drunk enough to believe vampires exist." clearly a lie. You know more than anyone how real vampires are.
"I saw one. Yesterday. Come to the back with me and I'll tell you all about it." you dare peek a glance at Sam, giving him a small nod as you follow Tim to the back.
Within a second, his hands are on your hips, pinning you to the wall. You panic, fear overtaking you thinking you're gonna die but then his mouth is on your neck, leaving drunken sloppy kisses and you realize he's just a drunk asshole and not someone trying to actively murder you.
You let our a fake giggle and grip his shoulders "Keep biting my neck like that and I might just think you're the vampire." that only makes him bite harder and you desperately wish it was Sam instead of him.
"Mmm if I was, I wouldn't kill a pretty girl like you." you smile as best you can and mutter "How thoughtful of you." he kisses up your jaw while his hands travel down to your ass, pulling your hips to his and you have to clench your hands into fists in order to not beat his ass up on the spot.
You manage to subdue the anger long enough to let out a fake a moan and mumble "I think vampires are actually really hot. You know how they bite their victims and aren't they supposed to be like 10 times more beautiful than human?"
"You tell me." he smirks and you see a flash of fangs coming out of his teeth. Before your brain even registers what your body is doing, you pull out the knife you always keep in your pocket and stab it right in his neck just as Sam and Dean run up.
Tim runs out of the bar through the back door and Dean chases him all the while Sam is on you checking for injuries and asking if you're ok. "I'm ok I'm ok. I promise." you cup his face and kiss him as if that will wash off the memories of Tim's hands and mouth on you.
"I'm gonna fucking kill him." he mumbles in your mouth and you pull back and look at him. "I know" "I swear to God honey the way he had his hands all over you and his lips- he was kissing your neck like he had any right-" you cut him off with a kiss because you know he'll keep rambling about this forverr if you dont calm him down.
"Shh it's ok. He's gone. We caught him. And I'm all yours." you squeeze his hands to ground him and he sighs, resting his forehead on yours as he whispers "I love you." "I love you too."
Later, in the motel, he shows you just how much he loves you and exactly how possessive he can get. Good thing Dean went to take care of Tim's body as an excuse because all you know is that you definitely won't be volunteering to flirt with another suspect ever again. Unless you wanna lose the ability to walk for a week.

It's a perfect summer night. A few clouds in the sky, the moon peeking out to cast a glow on your face in a way that shows off the angles of your cheeks and jaw in a way that he can't help but stare at.
Sam decided to take you out for a date night, explaining how you don't get enough time together to enjoy the simple luxury of a good dinner and each others company.
You didn't love the idea of him spending that much money on dinner in an over expensive restaurant but when he gave you those adorable hazel puppy dog eyes, who were you to deny him?
So you put on your best little black dress and heels, held onto his arm when he offered it, and walked into the restaurant.
He adjusts the tie hanging around his neck as you walk up to the reception where a man standing behind the counter looks you up and down, trying to decide if you belong here.
"Table for 2 under Winchester." says Sam in the professional tone he puts on when pretending to be someone who's been fine dining his whole life and not growing up the way he did.
The man (not so subtly) rolls his eyes as he checks the computer. "No reservation for Winchester here sir." he says, looking too pleased for someone who's supposed to be sorry for the mistake.
"There must be a mistake, I made the reservation a week ago." says Sam, trying not to punch the guy in the face for the way he's eyeing you.
The host reluctantly looks back over at Sam and simply mutters "I don't know what to tell you sir. There's no reservation. Now please step aside for people who do have one. You're holding up the line."
Sam's ears turn slightly red as his fists clench. Before he can beat the host up, you grab his hand and tug him towards the door.
"Hey it's ok. This restaurant was dumb anyway. They serve like that tiny food that won't even fill us up for 100 dollars. Not worth it." he seems to calm down like he does almost everytime you touch him and nods reluctantly "I'm sorry, I just wanted to give you one night where we didn't have to worry about hunting, or who we're hustling at pool today."
You cup his face with one hand, the other still clutching his "Honey, I don't give a shit about a low level restaurant who doesn't even have proper etiquettes. All I care about is that we can spend some time together. Now quit pouting and let's go to that flash burger cart around the corner."
He rolls his eyes but can't hide the grin appearing on his face "You wanna go eat at a burger cart while wearing this?" he gives you an appreciative look and squeezes your hand.
"Hey I've kicked ass in heels. You think I can't down a burger while looking gorgeous?" "That you do." he mutters and kisses you softly, his palm cupping the side of your face.
You pull back from the kiss after a minute and sigh "Now let's go Romeo. I'm starving."
Which is how you end up here. Sitting on the grass near a flash burger cart, your heels thrown off in front of you as you eat a burger like your life depends on it and all Sam's thinking is 'How the hell did I get so lucky?'
So as you crumple up the wrapper and wipe sauce from your lips with a napkin, he tilts your face towards his and kisses you hard.
You melt into it, hands coming up to cup the sides of his neck as his rest on your hip and the other on the back of your neck.
"Sammy I have sauce all over my face and probably stuff stuck between my teeth. This is disgusting." you giggle into the kiss but he only kissing you harder, tracing the seam of your lips with his tongue "Mmm delicious" you giggle again and he swallows it, pushing you backwards so you're laying on the grass.
He pulls back to look at you and can't help but falling in love with you all over again. Breathing heavy, hair sprawled out onto the grass, lips red and kiss bitten, and a dab of sauce left on the corner of your mouth which he licks off. Even looking this messy in the unconventional situation, you're perfect for him. Because you're his.
