Paris Autoshow: Porsche PANAMERA Press Presentation

Alongside the new 911 Carrera 4 and Cayenne V8 Diesel, Porsche surprised us at the Paris Motor Show with the Panamera Sport Tourismo.

VW Sound machine is an interactive installation for an audience to create soundtracks by arranging their own music piece and make music together. Sounds are mixed simultaneously by several people through the use of graphic records. Three units, which resembling standard record players, translate concentric visual patterns into control signals for further processing in any music software. The rotation of the discs, each holding three tracks, can be synced to a sequencer. The Soundmachines premiered on the Volkswagen New Beetle stand at the IAA motor show in late Summer 2011. In cooperation with the sound designer/ producer Yannick Labbé of TRICKSKI fame, we developed three unique discs, each controlling one track of an Ableton Live Set exclusively made for the Event. The show was supported by a set of realtime generated visuals, running on a 25m wide LED wall. Together with THE PRODUCT, Berlin

WHERE IS TOMBA? In 2017 Francesco Tomba set out to be the first person ever to row across the Indian Ocean from mainland Australia to mainland Africa. 9000 km of wide open sea (that’s like from San Francisco to Berlin, or from Berlin to Tokyo, or Tokyo to…. well to San Francisco) through waves, winds, currents and tropical cyclones. Wake up, row, eat canned food, sleep; every day for 4 months.

Francesco Tomba, (26 years old) is a mountaineer, a skier, cyclist, a swimmer and soon a rower.

MIGROS sustainable promise: Generation M (EIER)

Die Migros gehört den Leuten. Besonders am Herzen liegt den Besitzern und Besitzerinnen eine tierfreundliche Haltung. Aus diesem Grund werden ab Ende 2020 nur noch Eier aus Freilandhaltung in den Läden angeboten. „Mit 9'000 Darstellerinnen zu drehen war eine Erfahrung für sich. Sie lassen sich wenig, bis gar nichts vorschreiben. Eine falsche Bewegung löste bereits einen regelrechten Chicken Run aus.“

Schon seit längerem existiert an der PHZH das Bedürfnis nach einem Imagefilm. Im Rahmen der Vorbereitungen auf die internationale Bildungskonferenz in Genf 2018, feierte der Film seine Premiere.
