sorry I cannot finish this LOL it was unexpectedly really difficult and I gave up. Maybe someday, I'll continue it.

Before Hogwarts, Imogen's world rarely stretched beyond the walls of her home. Her parents seldom let her wander, and the sunlight had never been particularly comfortable for her eyes, so most of her adventures existed only in her imagination. On one sleepless night, curiosity finally got the better of her. She slipped outside, wandered to the edge of the forbidden forest, and climbed the tallest tree she could find to watch the castle beneath the moonlight.

Unfortunately for her, the first person to spot her was Richard Jackdaw, who decided the most sensible introduction imaginable was to remove his own head.

It was the beginning of an unlikely friendship.

She found herself sneaking out a little more often after that.

Imogen: "You remind me of someone in my year. I believe he's a Gryffindor."

Jackdaw: "Do I, now?"

Imogen: "Mhm. Quite a lot, actually."

Jackdaw: "Surely not."

Imogen: "No, truly. I think his name is... Gerald?"

This one took quite some time to finish. I had every intention of rendering it further, though I eventually grew rather lazy and decided to leave it flat instead. I also spent a fair bit of time experimenting with different brushes.

Perhaps, once I've improved a little more, I'll revisit this piece and draw it again.

Ohh, Imogen has an older brother 👀 May I introduce to you,

Mavian St. James

The eldest of the St. James children, and the spitting image of his father. He was once Slytherin's Head Boy. Though many found him formidable, those fortunate enough to know him well discovered loyalty that ran deeper than words and a heart far kinder than appearances would ever suggest.

I don't know why, but I find drawing men incredibly challenging. I was not particularly fond of drawing the hair, so I resorted to the lasso tool and hoped for the best. The hand was no better... I ended up having to trace over a real-life photo just to get it right. If I were to continue drawing Mavian, I would definitely like to become more comfortable with drawing male features and work on making his scar look more natural.
