Perhaps one day Kodama will introduce me to his dear friends. Then I can see finally what he's like around others.
His stomach churned as the other drew closer; even his words stuck in his throat as to choke him. This was a big dog and he was a lot bigger than his less than threatening self already. He swallowed, forcing himself to stand up straight to look taller than he really was— and shortly hunched back down as that method hurt a little too much. Gods be damned…
“Vi-” he cleared his throat. “Vito. It’s Vito. Bah— It was nothin’. Kid needed help so why not?” Maybe one day he’d stop sticking his nose in places it didn’t belong. Rrgh, goddamn this head… “He- he… Very nice.” What? Did he really say that? God, his head was swimming. “Sorry- no, I- I meant- uh,” His hand felt back and groped the wall behind him for some support. At this point he stopped talking altogether and covered his eyes wearily in attempts to keep himself from fainting. The heat, crowd and pain wasn’t a good mix.
"… Yup," he grinned behind his hands. "Love to help. Good t’ meet ya both."
Snapping himself out of his happy loving self, after finally finding Spencer again and cuddling up against his shoulder, the young wolf quickly took notice of the feline. He himself has experienced medical problems over his whole life and noticed Vito was hurting and anxious. "S-sir, are you okay?? Is so-something wrong?" Kodama spoke out with worried eyes. "Do y-you need any help? Is th-there an-anything we cou-could do?" He continued to ask, holding his own hands anxiously, he felt so bad for asking Vito’s help in the first place, now he felt the blame honestly for all this.
HHmm. The older wolf only gave a cold indifferent gaze upon the feline who was showing signs of pain and struggle of some kind. He could hardly get himself to care, the only things that mattered to him were himself. If it weren't for Kodama, he'd honestly start walking away with his boy if he could but of course. The younger wolf was wanting to help. "...Seems like you shouldn't even be out with the state of your body." His voice sharply spoke out, continuing to hold Kodama close to his side. "Why'd you force yourself this much?" Spencer continued, his hazy eyes examining the feline's body.
“Heh, ‘fraid so. We’re in the middle of rush hour. Gh—” His body creaked every step he took. Perhaps power walking wasn’t the best thing to do right now. He huffed, stopping himself to lean up against the building for a breather. “Sorry, I ain’t the best condition,” his half grin was hard to read. “I’m just old ‘er whatever.”
Lifting his head to speak, he froze as his eyes caught a figure in the crowd that stood out to him clear as day. Damned huge wolf— white and red, business suit. Vito almost laughed. “That… wouldn’t happen to be th’ guy, would it?” Kodama didn’t have to reply— he already knew the answer.
Vito swallowed, studying the younger more carefully now. “… Sorry but— how…- how old did you say you were?”
"S-sir..? Oh go-goodness, ta-take it ea-easy then, okay?" Kodama quickly responded softly. Right when Vito started showing signs of pains, Kodama let out a whimper. He didn’t realize he was asking someone who obviously needs to take it easy. Guilt waved through him and he reached out his hand to comfort pat the feline but backed down. "Wai-wait..? Oh! S-Spencer! Ye-yeah that’s him!" He cheerfully barked, tail wagging happily and ears perked up. Wait, he then glanced back over to Vito, the tone in his voice.. Yep, time for the questions. "We-well.." "I-I’m 19, sir." Kodama smiled innocently, bright red eyes looking up to Vito’s. He tried to keep that innocent smile of his but was obviously nervous.
His right ear flicked like a radar, he could hear that stutter of Kodama's out of the crowd. It stood out like a sore thumb to him. His eyes quickly glanced around the crowd that walked on by while still remaining detached and cold. Yet at the same time his tail swayed around confidently. Walking on over to the two with a strong stance, he raised an eyebrow a bit at the feline leaning against the wall next to his boy. Yep, his gut feeling was one hundred percent accurate. Gods, he was gonna have to thank that feline a lot. "Greetings dear sir, it seems you found my boy." He spoke out, that deep low voice of his would make any stranger feel a bit intimidated. Walking over to Kodama and wrapping his arm around the happy wolf, who was smiling bright as days and cuddled his head on the other's shoulder. "Thank you very much. Apologies for causing you such trouble. My name's Spencer.May I know your name?"
Kodama breathed in and out deeply, trying to tone down his stutter now that he at least knew the feline was helping. As they walked to look around, it was obvious both of the mobians had a limp of some sort, Kodama’s with stiff muscles and then there was Vito’s own problems.
"Eh-ehe, yeah. He’s a ni-nice gentlemen, proper and sm-smart." He looked around trying his best to see over the crowds, alas he was just too short though. Then his attention was brought back to Vito. Oh no, not that question. "Hhhh…" Kodama’s ears pressed against his head and his stomach queasy. There was no way he could tell this stranger but.. It was bound to be discovered. "He-he’s mh-my boy.. Boyfri-Boyfriend..” He answered in the softest, quietest voice he could.
Vito almost jumped out of his skin.
How old was this kid? Thirteen? Fifteen? Vito offered some sort of smile and continued to dither to himself. Maybe this guy wasn’t as old as Vito originally guessed. Kodama hadn’t say how old he was after all— the only thing that tipped him off was the business suit bit but…
He ran his fingers through his fur, swallowing down invasive questions. Vito hoped he was wrong on this.
“Boyfriend,” he echoed, rubbing at his back. “Ah- that’s cool. I’m sure we’ll find him around here somewhere.”
Goddamnit. After telling the other wolf where to meet up specifically at this spot once he finished his meeting was too much for Kodama. It was obvious he got a bit lost after it got active in town. Letting out a deep sigh, his hand brushing through the curly bangs of his and glancing around. "Hopefully he hasn't gotten too far.." Spencer muttered to himself, walking around with his hazy indifferent eyes gazing around There was this feeling in his gut that Kodama probably was bothering someone to help him.
Is the dick white?
“I beg your pardon? Well if you must know, child, it is not. Most canines do not have matching fur color.”
White dicks.
Um, madam why are you talking to me about this?
Is the dick white?
“I beg your pardon? Well if you must know, child, it is not. Most canines do not have matching fur color.”
BOO
What's with that reaction? I don't know what you were expecting.
Is the dick white?
"I beg your pardon? Well if you must know, child, it is not. Most canines do not have matching fur color."
… Oh, thanks. I slept with curlers in.
Yeah, Kodama deserves a lot. He’s a good guy.
Curls are a pain to work with, let me say from experience. *Twirls with long red curls casually.* Ah yes, I agree so. I try my best to do so for him, a sweetie he is~. So, who might you be here with tonight?
2cool4fast replied to your post “... Damn.”
Oh, nothing. You clean up nice.
Why thank you. I must look best for such an occasion for my boy. You're quills are rather nice too.
... Damn.
What's a matter, mad'am?
Awkward prom
Fuck fuck fuck ohgod why. Here Kodama stood, not far from the enterance to his schools big prom, with his arm wrapped around his boyfriend. Kodama wore unlike the usual dress code, a very fancy and rich looking kodona style outfit with a top hat and then there was his boyfriend. A very tall, old looking, curly red haired wolf with a dark maroon tux and all sorts of class. He was over fifteen year age difference. Everyone’s eyes were looking at them. Kodama could feel this tight clench of anxiety wrap around his neck. Everyone was judging him. They must’ve thought horrible things. Spencer looked like he could be old enough to be his father. As they walked into the gym for prom, Kodama’s grip clenched righter around his boyfriend, cuddling closer to him as they stepped through. "S-Spencer, don’t embarrass me, okay?" He pouted while he bit his lower lip and looked around at all the fun going on, the faces of people he never knew glancing over to him as if they were judging, when they were just looking. Kodama already broke the dress code, didn’t think people would notice too much for some reason.
Ha, Prom. Haven't seen one of these in ages. Get to see how the modern day prom really is like, this would be such an experience.
That was all Spencer thought to himself as they finally arrived to his lover's school. He was honestly touched when Kodama came up to him so eager enough to ask him out to prom, he didn't even think Kodama would want him to step foot even near this school, let alone around his classmates. He made sure to pick his best vest; dark maroon with a gold fancy pattern swirl and his hair done perfectly. A hot old man indeed he was. Spencer couldn't help but have the biggest smug grin across his muzzle and laugh to himself lightly when his lover clenched his arm closer to him. This was his big chance to show everyone Kodama was his, his lovely blue rose. "Ha, don't hold your breath on that. I look forward to meet you're friends, my boy." He confidently responded, glancing his red eyes down to Kodama. Kodama was so short compared to him, an eight inch difference.
"Boo! You would’ve found out anyway. Frost is so noisy about it,” she pouted, if just for a moment, but chose to distract herself by downing the rest of her drink. She’d promised said boyfriend that she wouldn’t get too drunk but she was already floating on cloud nine. She was buzzing. Her face was on fire.
Life was easier to deal with when she couldn’t think straight.
She flashed a glance over at Kodama; oh, that must’ve been his boyfriend’s voice. She appreciated depth in a voice. It was a pleasant rumble that flooded through her and she chuffed loudly. “HE’LL BE FINE,” she called, clumsily leaning over. “Tell him you’ll be fine!”
Kodama mockingly stuck his tongue out again while holding the phone to his ear, he was obviously super drunk at this point his usual kindness was just gone for now. He nodded over to Paige once she shouted out in the phone for Spencer to hear and rolled his eyes.
"Oh quit y-your worrying, mhasturrr~ I’ll be fu-fine. I have a fri-friend here.” He mocked in a sarcastic tone taking another drink to finish off his glass. Mentioning Spencer as ‘Master’ was something he wouldn’t have joked in front of Paige but that slipped by. “Sh-she’ll uh, he-help me home, ok? Don’t worry yourself~.”
"Excuse me? Who's that?" His eyes narrowed and he scowled his eyes with frustration, he hated when Kodama acted like this, he taught him how to move on from that attitude but it seems the wine was enough to show those colors again. Leaning back on the couch Spencer let out a mocking laugh, wow this was new. "Uhuh, fine sure. Let me have to deal with two drunk hooligans. I'll have a nice talk with you after this."
She pursed her lips and leaned her head back, taking a moment to shake out her hair. Her mane had gotten longer and longer, if just because she hadn’t had the heart to cut it. Before Frost, she might’ve, but he seemed attracted to her hair and she didn’t have it in her to chop it off anymore.
She wouldn’t admit any of it out loud, of course. She was too proud. And stubborn, at that.
"Mmmm, okay. I bet he’s masturbating. He’s always masturbating,” she huffed, sliding her phone over to him.
"Ghhhhgh„ Wow, ya didn’t ha-have to tell me that." He muttered out and sticking his tongue out. Kodama didn’t like the thought of knowing what his friends did in their free nights off, that’s just gross. As he took another big gulp of wine a light buzz in his pocket began along with a cute beat japanese song ring loudly. The drunk wolf squinted down at his frilly pumpkin short pocket and let out a slurred sigh. Taking out a cute frilly sky blue flip phone with a bunch of keychains on the end of it and fidgeted a bit. "M-muhy boyfriend is ca-calling.. HhhHHhH.." He whined like a little puppy for a moment glancing at Paige and back at his phone. "Y-yeah what-ya want y-you old bloke?" He spoke out with a attitude once he quickly flipped the phone open and placed his drink down on the table.
'Y-yeah what-ya want y-you old bloke?' That alone made the older wolf sputter out of his usual serious and level headed mind for just a moment, he hadn’t been called that in years. That was not what he expected when calling his little Kodama.
"I-..Are you Shitfaced, Kodama?” Spencer breathed out in a deep voice, his possessiveness flooded his body within seconds; he didn’t want Kodama super drunk alone at a bar. No way. “I’m coming to get you right now. You’re probably too drunk to get back here either.” His smooth deep voice was loud enough for Paige to hear his nagging.
There was a brief pause by Kodama once Spencer remarked about their situation. His hand clenched against the couch subconsciously while he thought out about it for a moment. He felt so nervous to tell anyone their relationship or even his lifestyle, Kodama only could assume people would see their relationship as a taboo or even worse. "I- Well.. I try my best to keep you a se-secret." He admitted as he let out a soft purr at the scratching behind his ear, his tail flicking around happily to go with his anxiety. "I ki-kinda want to k-keep it a secret too, i-if that’s okay!"
Instantly a small frown crossed Spencer's muzzle, he was very prideful about his relationship with the younger wolf and it did bother him a bit. Yet at the same time he understood how Kodama's much more anxious about what others think of him ever since he helped the young wolf. "Before you would shout to my face how I was a as you said; old creept. I think we've improved rather well from those times." He added while his hand drifted over to Kodama's chin and clicked the collar ID around his boyfriends neck. Engraved in it was simply 'Spencer's boy' and nothing else. Most people probably never even noticed what was written on it.
"But I understand, we can keep it a secret until they find out on their own. Which probably won't be long."
"Hmmm.." He breathed out happily, letting out a soft happy chirp at being petted on the head so gently by his boyfriend. "Thank you fo-or getting those! It’s all so cu-cute!" He responded with his tail gently wagged happily. "Pr-prom..?!" Kodama flinched lightly with his eyes quickly focusing up to the other wolf. "I uh, if y-you wanted to.. I mean, I do-don’t know.." He breathed heavily "Wha-what if they ju-judge or a-ask us?"
"Mmnh, who cares what they think." He remarked confidently with an indifferent tone, "It's nothing more than a silly dance. If we go, they just know you're taken and are happily with me, yes?" He scratched his claws gently behind Kodama's ears, he wanted his partner to feel proud of them being together and not minding being stared at. He saw nothing wrong with their age gap, Kodama was at least legal so there could be no wrong. "Your friends don't even know about me, isn't that right?"
"My boy, I got you some new clothes like you asked. The usual and then something for special occasions." The older wolf muttered out as Kodama rested his head upon his lap, giving a light and gentle pat. "Maybe even for that prom at your school. How does that sound, hm? Us together in wonderful clothes and all eyes on us." He chuckled.
I sometimes wonder what my boy's friends are like, he seems so much more social as of late. it's both excellent yet also concerning as I know nothing about them. Hmm.
