hey y'all!! the name’s kait. i’m 24, from new york, and beyond excited to be here. bare with me though, please, because it’s been like… six months since i’ve been part of a group rp. that’s how you know this rp is special!!
with that being said, let me introduce my sunshine, aubriana!
born in new york city, aubri was always a bit more reserved than those around her. despite the appearance she maintained due to her interest in fashion, she came from a middle class family. her father was the owner of a local bar and her other was an english teacher. it was that upbringing that made her want to do something rather out of the box.
she went to school at a state university, studying hospitality, business, as well as design. it was there the passion for event planning bit her, and her future career flourished.Â
at the age of twenty-four, aubri met a man that she fell head over heels for almost instantly. the two had a rather hot and cold relationship, as they fought often, but loved harder. they were together for two years until they got engaged.Â
her fiance’s job brought the somewhat-happy couple to portland, maine. it was there that aubri fell head over heels in love with new england and vowed to never return to nyc. she started her own small business there and felt as though life was setting up for perfection.
a little over a year and a half later, when she was nearly twenty-eight, she discovered that her fiance had cheated on her. heartbroken, devastated, and angry, the relationship crumbled almost instantaneously and she returned the ring.Â
it took her six months to scrape herself up off the floor and even come close to attempting to live a normal life. the reminders of their relationship were all around them in portland, stabbing her heart with each sight she took in. still, she had the vow she made herself and still refused to return to her home.
with that, she packed up and moved to a small town, davisdale. it was quaint, almost identical to what she saw on halmark movies. she was determined to stay and make it work there – and she did.
she moved her business from portland to davisdale, where business slowly, but surely took off. although she markets herself as an ‘event planner’, she much prefers to work on weddings and sweet sixteens, as they’re personally more her style.
since her breakup, aubri hasn’t been able to return to being her normal self. she’s become a bit cynical, sarcastic, reticent, and judgemental. all bad things aside, she’s also maintained her charismatic behavior and soft smile when she needs them.
unfortunately, at the age of thirty, she’s almost entirely given up on ever having another relationship or children. instead, she focusses her efforts on her three animals – cats louise & agatha, and her dog, penelope.
