As the Bifrost deposited the Asgardian firmly on his ass, much to Throm’s thorough annoyance, the son of Thor at first groaned. With an exasperated sigh, he rose to his feet and proceeded to shout at the sky. “Oh, c’mon, Heimdall, I said I was sorry….Also, do me a favor and tell Volstagg I’m sorry too!”

What did you do this time brother?” Magni smirked seeing his brother emerge from the Bifrost “To piss both Volstagg and Heimdall off in one fell swoop, it must be impressive”

“Sorry I guess Asgardians are pretty flash, the Bifrost likes to make a fuss” he said smiling softly looking around the place, it was quiet and unsettling “Why do I get the feeling I’ve missed something really big thats happened?” he asked biting his lip

“So i’ve been told. No need to be sorry, it’s understandable.” Will waved him off gently once she saw his smile. “Um, well, there was a kidnapping during the Halloween party. But rescue teams were sent out and they’ve got it covered. How long have you been gone for?”

Umm two Asgardian years so what’s that like 3 months or something” he said trying to work it out in his head as he set the hammer down beside him “Looks like I should have stayed”

Then we can just sit, but I’m not leaving you on your own when you’re in this state

“I don’t need a babysitter” she snapped. “sorry…I just…sorry”

He held his tongue “It’s okay, you’re going through a lot, I get it” he smiled “But I’m here as a friend, not a babysitter”

What friend would I be to leave you here upset?

“Magni I really don’t want to do anything.”

Then we can just sit, but I’m not leaving you on your own when you’re in this state

“Occuptational hazard I guess” he said sadly and gave her a bit of a squeeze “Come on theres no point in sitting here crying, lets see if there’s something we can do to occupy your mind whilst we wait for news”

“I’d rather not Magni” she said shaking her head. “You don’t have to stay here with me.”

“To be honest it feels like I’ve been gone a hundred years, I barely remember any of this place” he sighed and wrapped an arm around her “Everything’s going to be okay though”

“Thank you” she sighed and leaned on his shoulder. There wasn’t much for her to say. If she asked him why he was gone…she was too upset to actually listen.

“Kathrine? My sister?” she answered confused. “Red head fun, speedster?”

“I don’t think I’ve met her” he said scratching his head “I’ve been gone for some time”

A lot had happened whilst Magni was on Asgard and he wasn’t completely up to date with it all, there had been an attack and people had been captured but on the whole that was about everything he knew, he walked through the corridor and noticed Mari’ “Hey are you okay” he said leaning down

She shook her head. “They took Kat…” she said softly, arms wrapped around her legs.,

“Kat?” he asked in confusion “Who’s Kat?” he said “I’m sorry I really have no idea whats even gone on here”

With a flash of lightning and a clap of thunder that roared through the sky, Magni hit the ground, Mjolnir in hand as he looked around the courtyard at the looks he was getting “What you never see someone fall from the sky before?” he grunted

“Unexpected visits are generally considered rude. Might wanna call ahead next time.” Carol spoke, easing her stance and relaxing her fists as the glow softened until it faded away. “And the world is no stranger to aliens falling from the sky.”

“Don’t think I get cell service on Asgard” he said casually ‘Not an alien, Cap, just a god” he smiled as if it was a rather normal sentence “You guys have shifted where the Bifrost lands since I was last here”

He raised and lowered one shoulder, not exactly jumpy but not calm after all that had happened. “Its a sight I am familiar with,” he responded, thinking of his brother and his brother’s new family.

“Really who is your brother?” he asked at the boy

Will had been trying to stay distracted since the announcement of the rescue teams. Staying behind made her antsy, but she knew it was for the best that she didn’t go. Some one had to stay being and remain calm in the mean time. So she distracted herself with scribbling plans and ideas down, getting lost in those thoughts until she heard thunder. Looking up, she spotted the man and raised a brow at his words. “Recently, no. But it was more of the sudden sound surprising me.” Shrugging, Will closed her notebook and rose to her feet. “It was a pretty intense entrance though.”

She should have been here. She left and now one of her dad’s and her sister had been kidnapped. She heard they had sent out rescue teams but…that meant nothing to Mar’i. Not until she saw them herself. Could hug them and tell them how sorry she was. Tears were streaked down her face from the sobbing that came and went. She saw someone approaching and looked up hopefully.

“They still treat us as children I see” he grunted “Would you like assistance, two heads are better then one and four eyes better than two and all that”

“A lot of people’s friends and family were taken so they think they are protecting us.” She said. “That would be great. I’ve been looking through my mothers notes about spells, and I’m trying to see if there’s anyway for me to find the place or at least narrow down where they are.”

“You’d have thought that after last time that shutting us out just makes this all the more harder” he said and let out an irritated sigh “Well I’m not a sorcerer but maybe something Asgardian rubbed off on me that could come of any use”

“We were attacked again?” he said somewhat angrily and tightened his grip on the hammer “What is being done about this?”

She nodded. “The teachers are working, but they’re not telling us anything.” She said with a tired sigh. “I have been searching for them on my own too since they went missing.”

“After what happened?” Magni asked looking confused taking a step towards the girl “I meant not to frighten you” he said softly 

Zalika let out a tired sigh. “The joker and some others took some students and teachers.” She said looking up at him. “It’s okay. I’m just tired.”
