1. im a lover of sunsets, sl whenever my family and extended family go on vacation to lakehouses together, after dinner, i’ll go down to the dock, and sit and stare and watch the sunset behind the mountains and the lake until it disappears. sometimes another family member like my cousin or sister will come down but it gives me time to be alone and just think and i find it wonderful and refreshing.

2. i’ve been all up and down the east coast in and rv, and have only flown once out to the west coast toward san fransciso and las vegas.

3. i’ve visted 6 out of the top 8 national parks in america and im hopping to the vist the rest of the top 8!! they’re literally so beautiful!

When I was in first grade, I was confusing my last name with my middle name🤦🏻‍♀️😅

Aliénore is actually my middle name.

In my bedroom, I have a shelf reserved for all my books and stuff on WWII. There’s about 90% Band of Brothers and The Pacific related and I still have some posters to hang on the walls.

1. I’m a fully trained archaeologist, I’ve dug up a lot of skeletons and cool stuff in my time. I once excavated an in-situ hand axe that was 5000 years old.

2. One of the best days of my life was spent by myself in summer, lying in a blanket in a field, with a good book and some food. The temperature was perfect, the world was still, when I wasnt reading I would watch the clouds drift by. That memory is my ‘zen place’ when the world gets too stressful.

3. I have held and tried on a real Olympic gold medal 😊🏅

1. I have a biomedical science degree and haematology was my favourite module by far, despite me then going to work in pharmaceuticals and using Microbiology and Immunology much more often. Anatomy is a close second though, and I found out a cool thing last night that the tendons of my thumb and index finger are joined and that when I abduct my thumb it pulls my index finger too. It’s a genetic holdover from arboreals that not everyone has, cool as fuck.

2. I’m allergic to latex, which was as hilarious as you can expect to find out in the middle of a lab when I’m twisting my gloved hands while I’m meant to be drawing blood because they’re so itchy.

3. Oh so I don’t know how many of you know haematology at all or the science of immunology and blood type but I’m A+ which means that I have natural antibodies to B type blood. When we did testing in uni to work out blood type, my antibodies didn’t clot B type blood. We repeated the test five times with new blood draws and each time we either got weak coagulation or no reaction. So my body clearly doesn’t care if I get the wrong type of blood transfused.

Okay so I have realised that these are all science based but that does sum me up as a person.

1. I am currently majoring in applied chemistry and engineering. I have a strong love-hate relationship with this college because it is way out if my comfort zone. I’ve always been better at chemistry-biology however i am now trying to work with chemistry-math-physics-engineering. The subjects are pretty okay but the professors somehow make them extremely boring. (Also whoever thought that it would be fun to put quantum mechanics into first few lectures of basic chemistry can fuck themselves.)

2. I have a weird love for rollercoasters and heights. Never scared me i always thought it was fun.

3. I am a blood donor (B+) and certified pharmacy technician that has a WIDE knowledge in skin care.
