An Excerpt of a Poem I'll Never Finish Writing.

I don't want your love, right now...

When I tell you that my heart is aching and my head is messy your love goes, "Maybe it's because you're tired... It's just the come down... ITS THE FACT YOUVE TURNED AWAY FROM GOD!"

Maybe. But, can't you hold me close until the storms settle?

When I tell you we are behind on bills and that I need your help, I am met with silence. Read and unresponded. A whisper that echos through empty hallways, ringing in my ears. "That's your problem".

Despite....

Your love is unanswered and unreturned phone calls, and then has the audacity to message things like, "keep in touch, yeah?"

But it's isn't your love, it's my love that is breaking it's own heart, isn't it?
