“Now, you should be more careful-”
“Don’t scold me. I’m obviously tired of Kateb doing it, so don’t hop on the ‘let us all annoy Flament until he punches us’ train. I’ve already got to meet with Harry about my temper. So, I’m warning you now.” Olivier said, his hands gripping the chair he sat in.
Why were they even doing this in the NIGHTHAVEN commons? Why did Haughland have to drag him here of all places? These guys were..strange.
“Is something on your mind?” Håvard raised a brow, glancing down to Olivier, who had spaced out.
“Um..ye- I mean no. I’m fine.” He felt his face turning pink and tried to look away, but Håvard sighed, making him look at him again.
“I get why Kateb is so annoyed, now. You move too much.” It was strange to see Håvard so..calm. Quiet. He was usually talking a lot..about himself, but still. Then again, he had also shut him up.
Olivier stayed as still as he could manage, admiring the Norsk’s features, forcing back a small smile as he focused on his eyes. Those bright blue eyes-
No, Olivier, that’s gay, he thought to himself, then burst out laughing, making Håvard frown and cross his arms.
“What’s so funny about me?”
“Wh-What?” Olivier stopped, a little confused now.
“You were laughing at me.”
“No, no, I was laughing at myself, Haughland. Trust me, I wasn’t laughing at you. I have no reason to do so.”
Håvard sighed and shrugged a little. “Sure.”
“Because I’m worried. It’s obvious, eh?” He chuckled and shook his head slightly.
“About me?” Olivier paused, not getting a reply. Maybe because he knew the answer. “Why me? Of all people. And besides, it’s just a bloody nose and a small gash.” He crossed his arms over his chest.
“To be frank, I’m unsure myself. But I clearly don’t regret it and you shouldn’t be upset. We all deserve to have someone to care for us.”
Olivier was left speechless, not even flinching as the gash on his cheek was disinfected. But after a moment, he looked up to Håvard and smiled a bit.
“Fine. You win this time, Mr. Instagram.”
“Nothing.” Olivier said quickly, laughing to himself.
“There you go again! Laughing at me!”
