After weeks of prepping I think I’ll finally be able to start tonight! I’ve had a friend help me with a design and yesterday I’ve tried and failed to figure out a way to trace it. In the end I’ve given up and decided to use embroidery paper. I hope it’ll look good in The end!
Amazing news! A friend of mine who is a professional tattoo artist has agreed to make a design for me!
We’re going full harvest moon vibes with the cloak :D
One front piece of the cloak is complete! And I’m also getting further with my other piece! We’re well on schedule :))
It is time for another project shenanigans. I will be making a summery dress out of the purple fabric and a cloak out of the teal one.
The cloak will then be embroideried. It is for rennessaine fairs. I am debating if I should give it starry vibes or plants vibes. See the inspiration pics below.
What do you think?

Sad to say you were all wrong. It’s going to be plants ( I already started sorry).
I will also be making a Harvest moon vibe but not sure how I’ll be making it yet.
The idea is to make something like this:
I really love old fabric arts so I want to make something using old fashioned techniques. I looked around on YouTube and found this design made in collaboration with Bernadette banner. Sadly the original kit is too small for what I want so I’ll have to make it myself (how hard can it be 🥲)
I’m not too sure about the bird yet. I might add something else there or maybe nothing at all! We shall see

The walk was lovely! I was expecting a bit more woods instead of park vibes but I petted 4 dogs and saw even more. The coolest things were ducks just chilling on a small piece of ice and the mushrooms on the tree.
We think that the mushroom originally started at the top and then the rain slowly crippled the spores further down. The main piece of evidence there here is that the spores are kind of curving around the tree as the wind would blow water around. What do you think?
Today we’re going on a long walk in the woods! I’ve been looking forward to this for weeks and now is finally the day! The tea is hot in my flask, the trees are whispering my name and I hear the ground calling to me.
This is going to be a good day!
Just a little reminder 🐾🤍
I finished my pillows on time! My first ever quilting project 😊.
My partners grandmother died recently and so as I’m the only crafter in the family I just got a huge box of pre cut quilting pieces that the grandma had been collecting over the years. So it’s pieces of their childhood and lives. The idea was actually to make 3 pillows, 1 for each daughter, but sadly I ran out of time. But I’m really happy with the result of the current 2.
I enjoyed it quite a lot more then I expected, bit without its headaches of course. But I think I’ll pick it up again some time.

Everyone it’s Christmas eves day, I don’t need to work and we’re working on our final Christmas present. The sun is shining and the tea is hot. Life is good
Fiber arts is just Math in sheep's clothing
Last night I was trying to finish a quilt and the lovely lady in the video was trying to sweetly to explain everything so nicely. But she was American and I am European so after 4 hours of quilting and desperately trying to make sense of what she’s saying, after she said the word inches and yards I just gave up and winged it. I just couldn’t understand it anymore. Why is there always math involved in my sweet little hobby 😭😭
