I've been missing the open nature of Tumblr RP, so I'm coming back! The blog's still under construction, but the muses listed I'm ready to write, with a fresh start. If you knew me before and there's bonds you want to keep, DM me about it, we'll see where i am. I'll admit my grasp on some of these characters has changed, so not all relations would be the same.

I started making a multimuse for all my muses and such but I think the formula of Tumblr RP just doesn’t suit me anymore
I’ve had lots of fun recently in a couple of discord rp servers where all character info and such isn’t already laid out and organized you just have idea and drop it in for the most part
this extra fluidity has made it a much more entertaining process and as such i thing i have to admit that i am done with Tumblr RP.

Monsters integrating onto the Surface has not been easy. While Queen Toriel was perfectly content to enter into negotiations, monsters are not human. Their culture was different, along with their needs. Explaining the territoriality monsters experienced and the heightened violence not having enough space brought had been difficult, along with finding laws that would allow monsters to fit in with humans while not expecting them to act against their very nature.
The resulting laws about human and monster interaction were complicated, but allowed the monsters to begin to move out and find places to claim on the Surface. Spear heading these efforts as the monster ambassador Papyrus took the lead. He would receive lists of needs from monsters, such as cold areas for ice monsters and heated areas for the fire monsters, and scouted human locales. Places that passed the list and seemed amenable to having monsters living among them would be listed as open to be moved into, along with a description of what was there.
A black mustang raced down the street of yet another town. It parked on the side and Papyrus stepped out. He moved with all the confidence of someone who knew the world belonged to them strutting down the street in his boots. His fangs and scarred face added to the menacing image he presented in sleek black pants and a classy navy blue dress shirt. He entered the cafe and scanned the place, daring anyone to meet his gaze.
Weren’t humans big on eye contact? Papyrus tilted his head studying Garry as he looked away, before turning to Ib as she spoke. He grinned. “ANYTHING OFFICIAL I CAN EASILY FIND BY MYSELF. AND OF COURSE, I WILL BE WALKING THE TOWN. IMPRESSIONS FROM PEOPLE LIKE YOU IS WHAT’S IMPORTANT. SUCH AS HOW YOU THINK MOST PEOPLE HERE WOULD REACT TO MONSTERS.”
“Well, i think it depends on the monster. After all, you’re pretty scary looking, being a skeleton with sharp teeth. But how things look doesn’t really matter.” Ib was extremely honest, saying to Papyrus’s face he was scary. He did ask, after all.
“Yes, it’s hard to say based off of just you what the reception would be. Then again, it’s possible that our only tourist attraction,” the label was said with sarcasm, “May have people more receptive from a creative sense. I know personally seeing something that i cannot recognize would typically have me on edge, no matter it’s shape or size. But that’s just me; I’ve never been the best to adjusting to change or standing up to things.” experiences from that same tourist attraction didn’t help with that matter.

“I AM INDEED,” Papyrus said proudly. He lifted his head letting the humans truly admire his sharp features and incredible looks. He looked truly professional in his chosen outfit. There was no way anyone could doubt his abilities when they saw him.
Papyrus grinned as the child got straight to the point. Good for her. She would go far with her ability to simply cut to the heart of things. “PART OF MY RESPONSIBILITIES AS AMBASSADOR IS TO SCOUT POSSIBLE PLACES FOR MONSTERS TO LIVE. ENSURING THAT HUMANS AND MONSTERS CAN LIVE TOGETHER IN HARMONY IS IMPORTANT IF WE ARE TO REMAIN ON THE SURFACE AND NOT HAVE WAR.” Papyrus nodded and looked directly at the older human.
“THAT IS WHY I AM HERE. THIS PLACE FILLED SEVERAL PIECES OF CRITERIA FOR A POSSIBLE PLACE FOR MONSTERS TO DWELL. I AM HERE TO SEE IF IT CHECKS OFF THE REST OF THE CRITERIA AS WELL. YOUR VOICE WILL BE MOST USEFUL IN HELPING TO DETERMINE THIS.”
both humans shared a glance at the wording- criteria? what did that criteria include? could it at all be related to...? Garry didn’t manage to maintain eye contact at all as Papyrus focused on him. “wouldn’t something like that require more than two voices?” he’s beating around the bush, really asking ‘why us’ without being so blunt. “and I’m relatively new to the area myself...”
Ib ended up counteracting what he was trying to do, just through being honest. “I’ve lived here for as long as I can remember, though I’m just a kid...” She was undermining her capabilities to help.

Papyrus boldly met his gaze and stared back, daring the human to keep meeting his gaze and challenge him. He briefly broke the challenge to order a black coffee before walking over to the table the pair were at. He nodded at the man and girl. “MAY I JOIN YOU?” His voice dared them to say no.
Garry flinched at the loud voice, and Ib blinked a bit too, but held better composure. “uh…” she smiled politely, before looking at Garry to answer. this… wasn’t exactly what they were expecting today…
Garry knew this wasn’t normal. he had every right and reason to say know- they were talking of things only they would know. they were spending time with eachother, they didn’t know this skeleton, he should just say no. “Sure, it is kind of full in here…”
he always was a coward.
Ib just gave Garry the flattest of stares after he said that, before a small sigh escapes and she returns to a nice smile. Mother always taught her to be nice and polite to those she met, and she knew she was safe with Garry here. He may not be brave, but… courage did come out when danger was present. “I’m Ib. What’s your name?” since they’d be sitting together, may as well introduce herself. no sooner did she do so did she eat a macaron.
her soft voice and simple introduction lended to showing she may not be the most social of people…
Papyrus grinned. They were properly respectful and accepting of his place among them. That was not traits typical among humans. They had a very different way of interacting socially than monsters did. Papyrus carefully looked over them to make sure he was reading things properly before taking a seat. They did seem friendly, without the pushiness that put him on edge.
“I AM PAPYRUS, AMBASSADOR FOR MONSTERS. IT IS A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU, IB. AND YOU, HUMAN?” Papyrus asked Garry. He tried to look more welcoming, merely looking like he was giving an interview he suspected the poor subject to fail than someone who was daring them to beg for their lives.
"I’m Garry... you're the ambassador?" great, now he was dealing with government ontop of the whole skeleton reminding him of the Guertena deal. He didn’t hide his surprise well either.
he assumed their ambassador would have a friendlier appearance...
“If you’re the ambassador... why come to a place like this? we’re not exactly in a town known for much...” Ib didn’t see any plausible insult in her words, but she was still a child. she may be clever, polite, and typically quite, but ultimately she was a kid

Ib’s back had been to the door as she and Garry were finally having the macaroons they once talked about. seeing his smile fall so abruptly is what had her followhis gaze- a tall skeleton. A tall skeleton with sharp edges, and a mean glare... atleast his face held emotion.
Garry’s voice pulled her attention back to the table. he was speaking quietly, trying to not be heard. “Ib, i think we should go.” She blinked her red eyes, and looked back at the skeleton before answering her companion.
She didn’t take as much care into be unheard, though her voice was naturally soft. “Why?”
“I- well- because-“ the news of monsters had spread, that much was certain. a hand instinctively covered the rose in the chest pocket protectively. he had thought he’d do better, especially after... “They just... feel dangerous.” perhaps, had guetena had nothing resembling a skeleton in his collection, tgere would be no issue now. Granted, guertena hadn’t done much skeletal art, but ever single painting and sculpture was burned in his mind, including the harmless ones. he wanted to run.
he wouldn’t leave Ib behind. the thought came with him reevaluating the skeleton, exposed eye trying to judge past his gut reaction if there was danger. he was staring now.
I did a redraw of soemthing from 2014 and honeslty it’s a mixed bag .
for instance, Mary’s fire in my old picture i like better more, but technically she’s more proportionate and real this time. on the otherhand, I think how melty she looks is more natural, and you can actually tell what her body is
Garry honestly looks good in both pictures =3c
Ib’s hair I’m on the border with. like, yeah it looks more real, but I’m thinking the lack of stylized shape in favor of individual strands has it’s own issues… but either way, been working on this for awhile and I’m proud of the results!

My question for you is:
Should people be actively involved with Fictional Media?
This involves movies, tv, books, video games, comics, etc. active involvement refers to cosplay, fanart, fanfiction, theorization, any type of ‘fandom’ involvement basically.
Please be as detailed in your why (or why not!) as you can! bring up any points you can think of. and if the only way to explain is through word vomit, word vomit on me.

Cecilia with a high tolerance for alcohol was something was a gift since she never drank that much unless with Garcia. When she first met Garry, Cecilia drank a lot wanting to ease the pain but right now the roles have changed.
Garry being the drunk that he is was making the Biologist laugh. “Oh Garry.. come here before you hurt or break something.” Only having a few (strong) drinks, she was fine just tipsy. “Garry, what are-” it didn’t take long for Garry to have arms around his neck and a response to his kiss….
“Garry, I like you and all but right now you’re drunk.” Smiling softly before pecking his cheek. “I wonder how you kiss when not drunk.”
“Garry, I think you took one too many shots tonight.” Guiding him on the way back to her apartments so he isn’t alone tonight not wanting him to smoke while he’s drunk. “Come on my purple haired knight, don’t walk too slow or else I’ll have to carry you myself.”
“I'm not one to risk going slow.” as he spoke there was a glance behind his shoulder, as if checking for pursuit. “Slow is dangerous. slow is vulnerable.” there he goes babbling about danger again... what exactly was his mind going to?
