One more Kiran picture because he is... Just. So. Cute. 😍

Oh my... getting an adorable "one year" photo of this boy has been quite a challenge! I've been so spoiled with camera friendly, easy going Luna that I had forgotten that photography isn't always easy. This was my second attempt at a "photoshoot" with this crazy, fun, and spirited boy of mine. 😋 ⠀ Out of hundreds of photos taken at two different locations on two different days I managed to get three, yes, only three photos that I was happy with. In most of the pictures he was either eating dirt, looking away, screaming, crawling towards me, making silly faces, throwing a fit, or any combination of the above. I got this photo though, so I'm happy. 😄 ⠀

Kiran literally just broke through the baby gate to get downstairs. He sure knows how to get what he wants! I guess that will serve him well in life. 😂🤔

I swear Luna went to bed a couple days ago and woke up a little lady. We had been going through a rough patch the last few months with lots of whining, extreme emotions, and semi-annoying behavior (that I'm sure was due to a developmental leap). Thankfully that seems to be over! I'm happy to say that we have hit our mother-daughter stride again... sometimes growing up is a good thing. 💖#lunarae

We took another flight today with Joe as the pilot and I'm still alive!! 😂✈️ I'm learning to trust him... 😉

This girl of mine cracks me up! She loves to put on makeup but every single time when she's done she'll look at herself closely and say; "Mom, this doesn't look so good. Can I get a washcloth?". 😂 As her mama it makes me so happy that she prefers her natural face to makeup. 😊#lunarae

We opted out of the crazy parade going this year and went and hung out at a winery instead. We aren't complete 4th of July Scrooges though; we thought there would be a slip-'n-slide for the kids but since we were essentially the only people who showed up they cancelled the fun and games... which meant it was lovely and quiet.
