I found throne of blood 3 days ago and just finished it today and... I would kill literally everyone if anything ever happened to my knights. They are the only thing keeping my emperor tethered to this plane of reality and sanity, and I just love them so much. Also, Orias is so funny, probably my favorite side character so far.

Small update!

I'll finally work on this again this weekend. The main thing is:

1. Rewrite... or at least refine Cy's chapter. I've been extremely fixated on how much I think this can be improved, so I'll actually do something about it. At the moment, it feels fragmented. Since Zero and Dai's chapters were so long, I felt the need to pad Cy's. It got confused in the process.

2. Steam achievements!

3. Small bugs.

4. The short story.

For now, I've cleaned up some parts of the chapter. The library section with Orias will be mandatory since it has a lot of critical info. The free exploration will be kept, but I'll add more substance to them. The napping option will be expanded slightly.

I'm planning to rewrite the fog exploration as it was... Uhhhh... Very.... Yeah. I wasn't happy with it.

I will also try to tie in the leviathan scene a little more cleanly. It feels like a weird side story right now.

Funny thing is, my old college is doing a gamejam soon so I thought I'd participate with this! It's planned to be a VN/RPG (graphically similar to disgaea) with rhythm element. Nothing too ambitious, obviously! Since I've already got the plot, I wouldn't even need to think of a premise.

I've read some feedback on the game and first of all, I want to thank you all again for being such incredible people ❤️ I'm glad I made some characters that you can enjoy!

The concern mostly came from how "mislabelled" it is. It's partly my fault for not saying "Part 1" or something of that fashion. I do apologise for that!

Yes, I'm still alive. If you guys didn't know (and why would you!), I work professionally in tech and I dabble a lot with 3D modelling, illust. and technical scripting and some coding. Currently, I'm just screwing around on Godot, experimenting with how Throne of Blood will play like as an RPG-VN hybrid. No promises, of course. I'm currently building a solid VN starting template and see where we go from there. I think this game would work well as an interactive turn based RPG, like "we have clair obscure at home" vibe. It's ambitious, but I've made game demos before. Granted, in UE5. Still, I do have some experience.

I just haven't been in a writing mood! But I thought I'd share something cool I'm working on in the background.

this might sound dumb if it's been answered before, but how long does it take for demons to physically/mentally age? we were around 300 or so years old when we met dai, and we were still a lil demon baby (i might be wrong, i haven't played the game in a while!) , and dai likely did the pact as an adult... i imagine dai to be in their 20s or so, so less than a century would have passed. wouldn't mc have still looked like a child somewhat? i am very curious and too dim-witted to find out if this has been explained already lol

Haha I admit I never actually explained or thought much about this. I just immediately assume that... everyone would assume that they age quickly but stay young adult for a very long time. It's an idealistic fantasy world after all!

So excited to finally get to play the published game! I've been following the project on the forums forever! Congratulations! Are there any plans to allow for more romantic/FWB interactions with Elle or more romance options in subsequent books?

Maybe an angel baddie to be a little mean to us, but still kiss our foreheads?

Huge fan of throne of blood, I wasn't expecting to get so sucked in. I'm very excited for the next book, keep up the good work you're doing amazing ✨️

I was a little bummed that given the story of the MC, that doubling down on not having an interest in being the demon ruler wasn't an option. I just felt like, with how well the idea of the MC feeling confined and bummed out in the demon castle was conveyed, that there would be more options that at least maybe showed disinterest and a want to abandon the role of ruler. I guess just straight up abandoning the whole thing would just be an entirely different story so I understand to an extent why you probably couldn't, it's just something I was thinking during my whole playthrough.

I'm ngl though id love if that was one of the endings, fuck this, I'm gonna go find an empty beach to chill on with my knight harem.

JCJSJXJS YEAH adding a "screw this" route would be very difficult 😂 since I can't reuse the idea for other paths. Maybe in book 2, as a little bonus content?

If you end up putting health bars and the possibility to lose fights in the next game, would you consider adding in a cheat mode of sorts for people who might struggle with the fighting aspect of games?
