Madonna Della Corona (Madonna of the Crown) by Volker
The Sanctuary of the Madonna della Corona is a place of silence and meditation, extended between heaven and earth, hidden in the heart of the Monte Baldo cliffs. Medieval documents testify that hermits lived in the Monte Baldo area already around the year 1000 and that at least from the second half of the 13th century there was a monastery with a chapel dedicated to St Mary of Monte Baldo. Demolition and reconstruction of the Sanctuary were carried out from 1975 to 1978.

OH LORD HE’S DONE
I spent 1,025 hours over 3 years making this glitter bomb of a jacket 😭😭😭
wtf do I do now though
[ID: a silent video of Emmie, the op, swishing around in an incredibly detailed ankle-length open jacket based on Mollymauk’s jacket from critical role. It’s dark red and covered with beading, sequins and applique symbols of different d&d deities. It has open sleeves hanging from the shoulder and a wide hood. The bottom of the jacket is fringed with red and yellow tassels, the bottom of the sleeves are fringed with hanging silver stars, and on the inside of the sleeves, hood and skirt the lining is visible, a blue fabric covered in offwhite stars and moons. The most obvious parts of the decoration are the glittering green peacock that takes up most of the central back panel of the skirt, the brown snake slithering up from the peacock with the phases of the moon on its back, and the large gold stripes on the sleeves and epaulettes. It swishes heavily, with momentum. End ID]
An absolutely CRITICAL part of mermaid social etiquette is to ALWAYS swim around head height with other mermaids. This prevents both mermaids from harming each other via their tails, fins, and other appendages.
This etiquette is also intended to symbolize equality – regardless of whether you’re a coastal mermaid, a small freshwater mermaid, or a 50ft tall deep sea mermaid, everybody is deserving of equal stature.
OP: It’s for etiquette and safety for other mermaids!
Me: Hell yeah! :)
OP: Because all mermaids are equal.
Me, crying: H-hell,,, yeah,,,!!!! :,)
