Working hard on coms guys. I've sent updates to a few people. Long story short. I got food poisoning from a food bank because the lady who runs it is giving out bad food to people who are also sick as well. I called politely to tell her, showed her pictures of the food box the people gave me and her response was simply "throw it out in a field then. I have nothing to do with that."

I think poor people should have access to clean food?? I don't think I'm being unreasonable. Not only am I sick, my friend who took me, she's sick AND her children from the food. This woman has a history apparently of being extremely evil when you point out just "hey I appreciate it but some of this food is rotten/bad"

What is the point of a foodbank if you are telling me to just "throw the food out"? I know can't be like..PICKY and I'm always grateful but what she is doing is extremely dangerous.

She is being reported to the health department.

Saying "I have nothing to do with that" is just straight up wrong. As the person working at the food bank and handing out the food, it is her responsibility to ensure the food going out is not expired
