Who betrayed whom?
Did D-16 betray Orion Pax or did Orion betray D-16? everything seems to be clear, because D-16 killed him and threw him into a well. and that's what I thought at the first viewing, but then I thought about it carefully.
What did Dee do to Orion?
He killed him when Orion himself rushed into his crosshairs.
Throughout the cartoon, Dee supported Orion and his feelings as best he could, although he expressed dissatisfaction with another crazy idea of Pax, which would bring great trouble on both of them. And Orion?
Frankly, he didn't give a damn about Dee's opinion. Whole. Cartoon. He never once supported his friend's thoughts. Each time, he got him into serious trouble against his will. But they promised to watch each other's backs... so why is it only Dee who covers Orion's bumper every time, while at the same time trying to save his own because of his antics? Dee wanted a quiet life. He worked a lot just because... and why not, if they are promoted.
Orion even had such a plaque on his chest, which was almost empty, unlike Dee. However, Orion constantly broke the rules because of his whim. He went where he couldn't, risking his life... Risking a friend's life! When he dragged him to the race just because he wanted to. Dee was already tired of Orion's antics... So he was finished off by the truth about the true cause of the Primes' death and about them.
But Orion did not support him even then. Dee was in an outright hysterical fit, his voice trembling with bitterness, hatred and anger, when he was one step away from killing Sentinel, and Orion began to stop him again. Right. Why listen to a "friend", why listen to his opinion, to his feelings. After all this, he threw himself under the gun, defending the enemy, and called Dee a traitor. Maybe... If only he had somehow supported him. Then this chaos would not have happened.
So, which of these two betrayed whom....
