my take on the shipping thing simon @bluswordz did earlier , half of it is similar to his and half is some of my own thoughts . i added the curious / open to the idea color because i found myself not truly feeling neutral about most of these , like they seem rly cool and im interested in them but im not exactly in the shipping territory if that makes sense ? i hope thats okay with template's creator lol (which is @flakytartart btw , thanks for creating the initial template)

I LOVE YOU CHURCHIENNE. IT JUST MAKES SENSE TO US. sob. we lovelove the idea of churchill being more introverted and making himself look unapproachable and intimidating (from his massive tank down to him staring everyone down) so other monkeys are less eager to interact with him (which we believe stems from his past issues with his parents , trauma basically). meanwhile all the subtle clues just completely fly over etiennes head as he makes his way to befriend him anyway, which completely throw churchill off to say the least. ALSO I WILL NEVER LET GO OF THE FACT ETIENNE GAVE HIM A DRONE AND POSSIBLY WROTE CODE FOR IT AFTER FINDING OUT CHURCHILL COSPLAYS AS AN IRON RANGER / HE IS BEHIND THE SUPER SENTAI HELMET, KEEP IN MIND ETIENNE IS VERY PROTECTIVE OF HIS DRONES. me and simon could go on and on and on and on...
bency but unlike simon i do think it wouldnt be one sided and theyd (eventually) share a kiss behind a taco bell dumpster , sorry simon. we like the thought that benjamin is a filthy rich chud that is deeply insecure about not being liked by his peers but hides it by pretending to be chilled tf out. he looks up to quincy because he is everything ben wants to be all at once (successful, the face of all heroes and loved by many) . quincy would most likely be one of the only heroes who would genuinely think benjamin is a cool guy and hed , actually enjoy hanging out with him ?! and have casual conversations with him ?! but why ?? is he stupid? in all seriousness i do think benjamins weirder / unintentionally mean comments would fly over quincys head. also ben thinks quincy is kinda handsome lol.
i like brickell x sauda / swordfish too , middle aged woman yuri , i just think its really neat. idk i feel like we gotta flesh em out a bit more in our minds as standalone characters but i feel the potential.

benchill is pretty funny, simon dragged me into this one ... benjamin would have a bit of a crush on churchill , mainly because he finds him physically attractive (YES we do think ben mostly goes for looks) but also is interested in him performing a job which is looked up on positively by society compared to ben's day trading / crypto stuff, another insecurity ben has. on the other hand churchill hates benjamin and sees him as annoying as hell, not to mention him trying to get his hands on churchill's tank (we think he did get the opportunity to "improve on it" when churchill wasnt looking thinking hed be grateful, churchill didnt like any of it to say the least. they dont share the same views on technology)
some of the ships i found interesting i cant really pair bc of hc stuff, like adora being uninterested in romance due to her devotion to sun gods as well as her being immortal and outliving vast majority of heroes , which is kinda ehhh .
the ships marked as "not my thing" are things i cant rly see happening mainly bc of , again , hc stuff , like obyn having a dislike for churchill due to the latter destroying the environment around him with his tank (mainly inspired by churchill's teaser where he completely runs the fuck out of a grassy field with his tank [clickable link]) and military heroes seeing each other more as family rather than strangers they can romance
the only pairing i dont really like is bentienne, sorry guys . dont take it personally , i kinda understand why its a thing with both of them being technologically inclined and such , i just think ben would be really toxic with etienne , emotionally speaking . say it with me : It Is A Headcanon Thing . also he probably told etienne hes fat in a derogatory manner, i think thts funny
