I finally shed! It only took forever. I was stuck in my 'stay here why I clean your poop, you ridiculous noodle' box for a few moments, then back to chill out in my tub. I've been told I am getting big, and silly for huffing when disturbed from my nap.

Ok, as a biology major, y’all need to chill. Snakes this big are incredibly docile. They have been bred this way. Furthermore, the person taking care of this animal could not properly take care of them if they did not feed them regularly and well. This child is in no more danger than if she was sitting next to a big dog.

A snake that has no reason to eat a small human will not be eating a small human. There's an entire mythology behind snakes going off feed to size up and eat their owners, and people using scare tactics to vilify reptile keeping. Snake behavior, more than most animals, can be explained by their caretaking, and the method to their behavior is almost always within reason / explanation.

These animals can make excellent pets with the correct care and respect, and they deserve the chance to be understood without the misinformation that's flying around out there!

Hey! Does Thurman have a wobble? He's such a gorgeous boy!

Thurman does indeed have a wobble. It mostly shows up when he’s cruising his tank, but doesn’t effect his eating / quality of life. I think it got a different quality after his stay with someone while I was gone, but it could also be an age thing!Edit: and thank you! I love the way his morph has turned out as he got older. He's definitely got some awesome patterning :3
