Late post... last day of our review before our AANP exam

Hello everyone! Just took my exam today! Glory to God!!! Thank you Lord Jesus! 🙏🏻 I passed my AANP (American Academy of Nurse Practitioner) National Board Certification exam!!!! I can practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner! First, I want to thank God and Lord Jesus for my success. Second, I want to thank my husband Raymund Castaneto for all the support and taking care of my children. Completing the 3 year FNP program was tough. You’re my rock and I wouldn’t have succeeded without you ❤️💗💕 I want to thank my children Caleb Castaneto and Thyra Castaneto for supporting and understanding Mom all these years. I also want to thank my Mom Elizabeth Vince Cruz and my Dad Ireneo Vince-Cruz for all the support and cooking and help for my family. Also, want to thank you for the prayers from my sisters Nanette Vc and Hershey VC Third, I wouldn't have done this with my study buddy and best friend Ting! You’re an angel motivating me to study and keeping me awake. Thank you for being a true friend and for always being positive. Fourth, I also want to thank my great friends Richard Yap Claire Andrey Do Mona Deguzman Henry G. Domondon and to all my friends (Angelita Santos Punu Carlo E. ADvanced Practice Education Associates (APEA) 3rd. Ed. book of Hollier. I think it’s a good book. Different questions from Leik. Different approach but knowing the content makes me feel better. Some new questions and learning. Love it!

Leik 3rd Ed. Completed!!! Yay!!! So I answered the practice questions intermittently for 7 days. It’s like my second reading because I already answered the 2nd ed. Prayers that I will remember everything!

We did the AANP study group review yesterday with Ruphy Lim and Penny Dyals. Thankful to have this review because I learned a lot! Thankful to have my best friend and study buddy for always being there to keep me awake. Hehe!

Finished my review with Leik Webinar! It’s a long review but full of information. How long is the review? 6 hours daily for 4 days. It’s from 9am-3:30pm (EST) because they are based at South Florida. And this is one of the disadvantage for Californians who live in a different standard time like me with PST time which is 3 hours difference from my side. So I have to wake up 5:30am just to start on and prepare myself and my computer for the webinar. I can say that it is challenging if you live in a different place with different time zone because my usual absorption time to study is around 11am-5pm. Is it for AANP or ANCC review? It’s for both AANP and ANCC review preparation How much does it cost? $450.00 as of now. What’s included in the package? Webinar and a review booklet guide that is different from her book. Does it give you CEU hours? Yes but only to specific areas in US. It’s not counted if you’re a California residence. Comment: I initially bought the online video review of APEA with Amelie Holier and her review is much interactive and energetic in comparison to Leik. Leik is more of a lecture type and she covered a lot in comparison to Hollier. Both of them have online review and live review. How much is the video review of Hollier? $475.00 You can view the video online twice, then you get a CEU wherever you are. You can either get a video or audio if you’re looking for online review. What’s included in the package? The PDF files of the review and the video access to review. Is it a review for ANCC or AANP? Review for both How long is the video course? You will take 3.5 days for the review course. So it’s like a live review but recorded. There are like 66 videos. Each videos are ranging from 18-20 minutes What I didn’t like? Some of the videos are not playing well. What I like: I like the interactive and energetic speaker. I also liked that she helped me analyze anemia and DM. Both of them are experts! So depending on how you absorb things... then you have to pick which review course. Spent thousands for the review... but I know it’s worth it to pass the exam for the First take.
