PT2399 Echo Processor IC

The PT2399 is a single-chip echo processor integrated circuit (IC) that employs CMOS technology. Which accepts analog audio input signal, a high sample rate ADC converts the analog signal into a bit stream, which is then stored in internal 44Kbit RAM, and the bit stream is de-modulated by DAC and lowpass filter after processing. The internal VCO clock frequency determines the overall delay time, and the user can easily change the VCO frequency by changing the external resistance. The PT2399 has low distortion (THD0.5% @0.5Vrms) and noise (No-90dBV) characteristics for audio applications, and the pin arrangement and application circuit are optimized for easy PCB layout and cost savings.

The WM8731 or WM8731L (WM8731/L) are low-power stereo CODECs that include an integrated headphone driver. The WM8731/L is intended for use with portable MP3 audio and speech players and recorders. The WM8731 is also suitable for MD, CD-RW, and DAT recorders.

74HC595N Shift Register

The 74HC/HCT595 are Si-gate CMOS devices with high speed and pin compatibility with low power Schottky TTL (LSTTL). They are designed in accordance with JEDEC standard 7A.

The 74HC/HCT595 is a serial shift register with an 8-stage storage register and three-state outputs. The clocks for the shift register and storage register are separate.

On the positive-going transitions of the SH CP input, data is shifted. On a positive-going transition of the ST CP input, the data in each register is transferred to the storage register. When both clocks are connected, the shift register is always one clock pulse ahead of the storage register.
